B&B Villa Sensi sells fast on our site. Set 2.8 miles from Tuoro sul Trasimeno, B&B Villa Sensi offers landscaped gardens with swimming pool and stunning views of Lake Trasimeno. It is located near the border of Tuscany and Umbria, 11.2 miles from Cortona.

Review 1：Wow what a hidden gem... Perfect spot for peace and quiet. Very welcoming, homely and helpful. Wish we stayed longer but will be back!. you do need a car if you wish to go out and about.

Review 2：Paulo was a most gracious and helpful host! From his very first warm greeting, to the detailed local maps he hand-drew, he could not have been more generous. Hiking in the early morning right from the Villa, nestled in the national park, was made even more fun when accompanied by Paulo's sweet, well-mannered, Belgian Mallinois, Barry. While not luxurious, the rooms were very clean and more than adequate for the amount of time we spent there. Bed was a little firm for our taste, but not impossible to get a good night's sleep in the clean mountain air. Our balcony was the perfect vantage point to enjoy magnificent views of the lake and spectacular sunrises and sunsets. Definitely well-worth the journey up the mountain to enjoy this B&B experience.

Review 3：Peace, quiet on the top of the hill and very frendly and helpful Owner, Mr Paolo. Perfect place not only for relax in peace but also for visiting around areas.

Review 4：Only that a lift might be helpful. If you have heavy luggage even the few steps there are exhausting if you are one of the 'mature' couples.

Review 5：Villa Sensi was rather more than a b and b. Paolo was an excellent host and made guests feel very welcome and their stay really important to him. There was always lots of conversation but if you didn't feel like it,or you were late back, there was a separate entrance. We needed to stay longer than our booking but there was never a problem with flexibility. P went the extra mile. We look forward to returning.

Review 10：having advised villa of arrival time at rail station and been given 5 taxi numbers to call it took over two hours to get a taxi to agree to collect me and a further 45 minutes for him to arrive. numerous unanswered phone calls to the villa during this time

Review 21：Perfect location, very friendly and helpfull host who will do everything to make you enjoy. Temperature wise it was still a bit fresh, but I can imagine how nice it would be at the pool looking over the forest towards the lake below. Our GPS had no prolbem finding the place and if you don;t panic, the road up hill isn't a problem at all, just a bit bumpy

Review 22：Wifi signal in the room wasn't the best. Several km drive up the hill through a forest on a bumpy road, which isn't really a problem, just make sure you don't arrive at night. Also, be aware that if you don't have GPS there will be no signs for this B&B on the main road.

Review 27：The stuff is really nice, the owner Paolo is one of the nicest people I had met. He can give you a ton of advice what to see and where to eat in the beautiful area of Umbria. The breakfast is fantastic, not just typical Italian breakfast with sweet croasant and coffe, no, you get a continental style breakfast with lots of delicious food. The view of the lake is magnificent, as is the surrounding area. I highly recommend this B&B to anyone who wants to enjoy piece and quiet in beautiful Umbria!

Review 28：From the moment we arrived until we left, we felt like home at Villa Sensi. Paulo, the host and owner takes great effort in making his guests feel at home. He is a great person. Also the ladies assisting Paulo in the B&B were great. We had a wonderful time with them. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. The view on the lake is absolutely astonishing! In the village of Tuoro, there are several nice restaurants where one can have a wonderful meal for a good price. Paulo can assist with information on good restaurants in the neigbourhood. The pool is nice and clean and has a beautiful view on the lake. The location of Villa Sensi is an excellent starting point for trips to cities in the region. We made trips to Florence, Siena, Cortona, Perugia, Spello, Spoleto, Assisi and many more. All are within an hour drive. We will definitely return to Villa Sensi on our next trip to Italy! Remember Paulo: corri corri!

Review 29：One of the best places we have ever been to. A wonderful view of the lack from a hill. The family that runs the place is super nice. The man speaks excellent English. My husband felt guilty to spoil the entrance by breaking our jar of olive oil. The couple cleaned it while telling us that was nothing to feel bad about. In the morning, the kind man had a small gift of a home-produced bottle of oil for us. If you are in that area, you must not miss this BB (two wonderful cherry trees in the parking lot with many fruits, i mean used to be many fruits ... mmmmmm).

Paolo and Rita were extremely helpful and friendly. Even helped me with fixing my car. Gave very good tips with regards to our daily excursions and restaurants. Will go back there for 4 or 5 nights next year. Can recommend it to everyone.

Review 32：We live in the USA in a flat area and the driveway was at first intimidating for us as it's long and steep. But, we got used to it quickly and it was worth it because of the view.
