Reviews for Hotel Restaurant Oud London
Review 1:Didn't like the way toilet was separate to the bathroom in what was a deluxe room.
Review 2:Great atmosphere, very relaxing. Restaurant food was exceptionally good.
Review 3:Insufficient towel racks. If hotel wants guests to use their towel more than once, there should be racks for hanging one's towel to dry.
Review 4:Excellent restaurant.
Review 5:Liked it all!
Review 6:Everything about this hotel was absolutely fantastic. The staff were extremely friendly and professional. Everything we requested was organised promptly and in a friendly manner. We couldn't fault this hotel and will stay here again Thank you to staff.
Review 7:breakfast hot meals were not that hot, and the plate's you put it on were cold.hence by time you sat down to eat, the meal was very cold.
Review 8:hotel was a very good standard, and the staff were very friendly and happy to help in anyway,
Review 9:The rooms could be a bit more modernised, especially regarding power sockets considering peoples gadgets of today. Found out when checking out that some of the nights included breakfast, and this wasn't conveyed to myself from the hotel or Booking.com.
Review 10:Convenient location to explore Holland. Plenty of parking space.
Review 11:My room did not have a window to outside. Instead there was a glass panel onto a conservatory area which made it feel like a dungeon.
Review 12:Location and breakfast
Review 13:Room was in dire need of a facelift, very disappointing and we paid extra for what we thought was a better room. Headboard faded and with stains all over. Room small for what was promised. Having to pay 17.50 for a crib. No sofa or comfortable chair too feed baby. Indoor pool too cold for anyone to enjoy.
Review 14:Receptionist
Review 15:wifi was so poor in my room and in breakfastroom that I could not get connected at all! when about to leave the deskstaff suggested to shut off my ipad and restart it, but that was by then just too late for me. I shortly returned form a trip to Iceland and I had just been spoiled with excellent wifi over there everywhere, even outside a hotel, in the remotest of places...
Review 16:room, bed and bathroom comfortable and clean wellness center with steamroom, swimmingpool and sauna is lovely.
Review 17:We arrived at 03.00am in the morning due to adverse weather conditions. Our room was lovely but cold, there was no heating on.
Review 18:The comfort of the room and the free wifi.
Review 19:This venue was perfect for us!! My partner and I had a great time @ oudlondon hotel - the staff were very friendly, helpful and reserved though our privacy was respected throughout. Thank you Oudlondon!!
Review 20:The rooms are quite simple and could be more comfortable.
Review 21:The Brasserie was very good. Great service and excellent food. The staff was very friendly and paid good attention to our needs. Absolutely a must-do!
Review 22:I didn't like the toilet in the room. It felt like a cupboard as it wasn't part of the overall bathroom. Also didn't like the room doors. They were very heavy which meant my slept was interrupted through the night as I could hear other guests entering and leaving their rooms.
Review 23:The staff at the hotel were very good - friendly and helpful. The spa facilities and the swimming pool was also good. Food was also good, wonderful wine and seafood.
Review 24:Part of me selecting this hotel, aside from it being in my birth town, was that it supposedly offered a queen size bed. Instead I ended up with two wins pushed together. Which made sleeping/cuddling with my wife a little bit more challenging since one of us always fell "in the crack". Also, one day coming back the maid had left the AC set to 90F. I wanted to take advantage of the steamroom, but I didn't want my room to be it. Lastly, don't have your laundry done there - they don't list their prices, so it's a surprise of how much they end up charging you.... Aside from that - no complaints..
Review 25:The extra cost of breakfast at 14.50 euros each is far to much for a breakfast buffet. WiFi is weak but useable.
Review 26:Good value for money if all you want is a bed for the night. Facilities excellent. Really enjoyed the health club particularly the pool.
Review 27:It wasn't all too bad, but the wifi was a bit poor in the room; it worked fine from the lobby though so if you need internet, you can use it.
Review 28:Whenever I go travelling, I prefer staying in fancy hotels, with good conditions and I do not mind paying a bit more to have the comfort. I was very satisfied by the hotel, It looks nice, breakfast was good and diversified, they have a lovely pool with sauna and spa, the room was spacious and the bed comfortable.
Review 29:the 2nd time this year on a combined business/leisure trip basically says it all ! If you're not happy you don't come back and we'll be coming back. Everything as advertised and superb. No negative points what so ever ! A must do when in the Zeist area! Thanks to Nico and excellent Staff.
Review 30:Loved the outdoor area given we were very lucky with the weather. loved being able to hire the bikes. They made a special effort to accommodate my husband.s gluten free dietary needs, not just with bread but also with cereal as well.
Review 31:nothing, many thanks for our perfect time at your hotel!

Review 39:The mattress was not very comfortable.
Review 40:The room was really big and spacious.
Review 41:No bad experience
Review 42:Room ok, but toilet too crampy, plastic drinkware in bathroom
Review 43:Actually nothing. The breakfast was simple.
Review 44:Clean and quiet room with very friendly staff and excellent value for money.
Review 45:Dinner Breakfast Friendly staff
Review 46:Breakfast is tatsy with a large choice of food... but I find it a bit pricey though.
Review 47:Very quiet location, large rooms, very nice staff.
Review 48:Room cleanness was not perfect on arrival but corrected immediately.
Review 49:Excellent food at the restaurant, spacious room.
Review 50:Nothing
Review 51:The employees are all very kind , friendly and helpful !
Review 52:very nice Hotel and good location staff very friendly i recommend to stay in this beautiful Hotel
Review 53:The place is hard to find. Forget it if u dont have car.
Review 54:In the middle of the wood, you may love it or hate it. Rooms are great.
Review 55:Room was cold
Review 56:Friendly staff - helped find a motorcycle mechanic. Excellent rooms top quality restaurant surrounded by forest. Balcony a bonus.
Review 57:Wi-Fi signal is very weak
Review 58:Location was great. Food was excellent.
Review 59:I was charged for laundry twice as much as the receptionist told me. No one could explain why
Review 60:Good price Good location
Review 61:No toothbrush and comb
Review 62:Bathroom and facilities and the staff
Review 63:Friendly and helpfull staff Extensive breakfast Good sauna and swimming pool Nice looking building
Review 64:Showers at swimming pool could have been cleaner and sauna is pretty small.
Review 65:Good breakfast, beautiful swimming pool and decent rooms.
Review 66:I loved the sauna and the swimming pool and the excellent breakfast buffet. Staff was really helpful and amiable. To be recommended... :)
Review 67:A bit too far out of Zeist to have a dinner out... Matrasses are a bit too soft and we had a twin instead of a double, but everything is fixable with shoe laces :-). Got cold just before midnight, and when we called the front desk, an hour later the heaters were on again... good for us that we didn't sleep (sleeping with the heaters on is not nice... chillin' in the bath tub is :-)
Review 68:Beautiful in the middle of the woods, excellent staff and food. Rooms are a bit worn out, (but you can call it vintage style) but clean and comfortable and when we told the reception that we booked the room especially for the big bath tub (we don't have one at home) we could change rooms. Thanks, we had a wonderful Valentine's Weekend. Went shopping in Zeist, enjoyed the woods around and on the first night had a nice small dinner in the bar and second night at Asian restaurant Lin Fa in the town (nice asian 'tapas'!)
Review 69:The rooms are simple, some only showers, definitely not 4 star-like. Breakfast buffet has some variety but lacks in raw food / salad and proper cheese (was only emmentaler and gouda)
Review 70:The inner pool and sauna area is small and in the basement but nevertheless very nice, quiet and comfortable! Personnel was nice. There is a donkey farm behind the hotel worth to visit :-)
Review 71:Booked 3 double rooms (double beds), allocated 3 single rooms, single beds, with no other options, nor price adjustment.
Review 72:The location was perfect for our needs, as we were attending a function based in the hotel.
Review 73:no tea making in basic rooms, but not the end of the world!
Review 74:rooms clean and modern, evening meal was excellent, although more expensive than i would normally pay! B and B in this 4 star was very good value.
Review 75:Everything was good, I cannot fill this area
Review 76:The large room, the swimming pool with sauna, the free wifi. Even thekitchen was good which is not usual in the Netherlands (but it was alsoquite expensive)
Review 77:The "wellness" centre was a bit of a joke (apart from the swimming pool area). The double mattress was uncomfortable (at least on one side of the bed).
Review 78:A very good pool, sauna steam room area and breakfast. Staff friendly and efficient.
Review 79:What they call a "double bed" is actually two twin beds next to each other. The beds are not anchored, so they constantly roll apart, creating a big "split" in the middle. It's irritating to have to get up 5 times in the middle of the nightto push the beds back together.
Review 80:The friendliness of the staff. The willingness to help. The decorations. The atmosphere. Sitting by the fire, drinking a glass of wine. The secure parking area.
Review 81:The lock on the room door is old-fashioned in that it has to be manually unlocked when one exits the room. In modern hotels the door unlocks automatically when one exits the room. In case of fire, this is a safety measure. There may be a fire code violation that needs to be updated.
Review 82:The location is perfect as a hub from which to travel to visit family and friends.
Review 83:Attractive, clean, very comfortable hotel. Helpful, friendly staff. Excellent breakfast and restaurant. Car park very good, free parking. Good access to Utrecht, Amersfoort and also, a bit further away, Het Loo royal palace, Arnhem and Van Gogh museum at Otterlo. Bikers obviously enjoy the hotel as a good base for exploring and just ambling around on a bike!
Review 84:we just missed having a small fridge in the room.
Review 85:everything was great. excellent service from top to bottom. attitude of all the staff was excellent.
Review 86:Big comfortable room, I needed a disabled room and it was perfect. It was also nice and quiet. We had breakfast each day and there were enough choices to suit most people. The car park was secure so no worries there.
Review 87:internet was not free, but more importantly when you pay for it is is extremely slow, drops out etc... I was in room 80 second floor so perhaps it is better elsewehere, but i almost went to reception to get my (adlmitedly small) amount of internet money back
Review 88:Food was excellent, rooms are spacious and quiet
Review 89:good breakfast, overall very good value for money!
Review 90:Friendly staff, good breakfast and reasonable rate.
Review 91:Exceptionally good food. Also good facilities for the price.
Review 92:WiFi signal was poor.
Review 93:Lovely hotel, friendly and efficient staff. Had a wonderful time!
Review 94:Wifi didn't work well in my room. Breakfast was not a buffet.
