Review 1：That we were only there for one night
Review 2：The food was excellent, all freshly made, great portions. The best beer batter on the most perfect fish I've ever had.
Review 3：It was a unpleasant experience with this motel which has neither in-room kitchen nor shared kitchen. My request for changing to another room for WiFi access (WiFi is not accessible in some rooms. I touched nothing in my room before my request) was rejected rudely even there were enough vacancies.
Review 4：For motel accommodation connected to a local watering hole it was pleasantly immaculately clean with good facilities. We booked out 3 rooms and they were all good.
Review 5：We were not warned when we booked that a band would be playing at the pub (owned by the same people I'm guessing) long into the night. This did keep us awake and would have been nice to not have to deal with it. If is was some little old couple I don't think they would have taken so kindly to it

Review 8：Another successful visit to Ocean Beach Motel. The rest of my trip was terrible, but the motel made up for it. A great price, with no frills. A dairy right across the road if you want to grab some cereal for breakfast. I love this motel.
Review 9：Just that I noticed that around the base of the taps were not clean and I found a piece of fat from someone's previous ?takeaway meal on the base of one of the chairs. I picked it up and put it in the bin. Just needed a good scrub between guests.

Review 17：Great value for serviced studio.Very clean and modern inside and with heat pump. Staff could not have been more helpful. I had gone to visit my Mother at her rest home close by. I also liked that only 20m away was the very nice bar & restaurant. The complex may not look much from the road, but it was like opening up the oyster to find the pearl inside.

Review 22：As I didnt get to stay at the Ocean Beach, despite booking, and having my booking confirmed, its difficult to say. Their units are probably clean and tidy but I cannot confirm that.

Review 26：Nothing to say the reception was in a pub, felt unfortable going in there when it was full, very noicy at night nothing to say respect our guest when you leave at night my other half didnt get to sleep till 2am because of the nose it wasnt what we expected wouldn't go there again its not what I would call a hotel!

Review 92：Dunedin weather which was really bad and didnt spend time at the beach because of it, sounds from bar as music was very loud and annoying, to many locals having their wateringhole there at that bar on a daily base, heathpump not working in my room properly, except for cleaners didnt see any staff , i guess they were always at the bar as the recption is behind the counter at the bar, wich i find annoying as the receptionist is also the bartender.

Review 99：Proximity to the Pacific, 5 mins drive to City, food outlets close by. The motel room had one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in, fantastic shower that you didn't have to fight with and most importantly for me was the reasonable cost.

They were clean & tidy. The bathrooms were very small - but great water pressure! Not close to town but bus stop right outside. We had a bar meal for tea which was good value for money.
