Reviews for Barossa Dreams

Review 1:Very noisey from the road traffic. Building is split into 4 suites. But suites have adjoining doors & you can hear every noise the neighbours make. I think our bedroom led onto the next suits kitchen so inpossible to sleep because of noise.

Review 2:was unsure about the check in procedure. Got there in the long run. Very pleasant reception staff

Review 3:Lovely manor's, in the middle of town, so close to restaurants. Locals very friendly

Review 4:Used condom left in bin Cold despite wood fire Heater in bedroom poor heat Faulty light in lounge and power board Unable to close fly screen door Minimal complimentary toiletries

Review 5:Bathroom good size warm

Review 6:Because we arrived after dark it was difficult to locate the room. The web site needs to either provide a map of the rooms location or the instructions need to be a lot clearer. It took three phone calls on arrival to locate the room.

Review 7:The bed was comfortable

Review 8:Self contained? No kitchen. expected to wash dishes in plastic dish.. Pillows poor condition. No replacement of firewood. Poor lighting when wanted to read

Review 9:Open fire. Spar bath

Review 10:The bed was 2 twin beds pushed together and you could feel the space plus they were horrid to sleep on. The laundry was right behind the bedhead wall and someone kept doing their laundry until late that night so we kept hearing the beep of the dryer etc until after 10.30pm! Disappointed we weren't allowed or had the facility to light the fire.

Review 11:Stayed at the back of the house. Very inadequate lighting, stained ceiling and walls, grotty pillows, wifi not working, no mattress cover, very dated. Worse value for money experienced on this trip. Dark end of an old house. Kitchen light switch broken. No wardrobes. Not good for the industry reputation in the Barossa.

Review 12:1918 restaurant was the saving feature of our stay.

Review 13:Strong smell of sewage in the entrance to the room. Sofa bed was totally knackered and not even adequate for a child to sleep on. Many 'do's & don't ' notices everywhere outlining extra chargers for transgressions such $65 fine for not washing up tea cups ? Strange !

Review 14:Position / the buildings had character

Review 15:Rules posted around the walls. Extremely hard bed. You can hear every other guest through the walls talking or scraping a chair or putting a cup or bowl down. You have to wash your own dishes but there is no sink or kitchen. There is an open fireplace but no wood. No movies or foxtel. You walk past other guest windows to get to room. Wet concrete was extremely slippery on entry

Review 16:Location and decor, it is near the centre of town. Very clean and the staff are really nice

Review 17:Being told to do your own dishes in a plastic tub is a bit much. You end up having to fill the tub in the bathroom and doing them on the bathroom floor! For $220.00 a night surely you shouldn't have to do your own dishes!

Review 18:Loved the size of our rooms. Spa was nice water level in it was very low barely reached waist height. Should it be that shallow? Found it quite difficult to manoeuvere toaster jug kettle dishes etc on the small bench. Washing dishes was hard as well . Power kept tripping out first thing in morning when every one was using appliances . Found this annoying

Review 19:Loved the size of our room. Very much enjoyed our time in the Barossa Valley.Staff very friendly and courteous at the booking in and organising tours

Review 20:The Bath was a bit tricky for older people and only 1 toilet for 6 people

Review 21:Well Appointed and an easy walk to the centre of town, great place to stay, quite

Review 22:For a b&b in wine country and for the price, there should have been a complimentary bottle of wine and a small cheese platter. The bathroom tiles and shower were very slippery and dangerous. The decor was dark and modern, which did not fit the period on the property and room. The ironing board needs a change of cover as it was worn down to the metal. We had to line it with a bath towel. Bathroom was large but inefficient and impractical use of space. No basin space for toiletries. Overall disappointing.

Review 23:The garden but needed looking after.

Review 24:All the bossy notes about do this, don't do that, we'll charge you extra. not all travelers are rude and going to trash your house.

Review 25:The price was good in an overpriced location. Don't be put off because it's cheaper than everyone else, it's really great.

Review 26:A little noisy with other guests in another room

Review 27:Spacious

Review 28:It says self contained but there is no kitchen sink. You are expected to wash up with a small bucket from a sink in the bathroom. Interesting

Review 29:Noise travelled badly from adjoining rooms. couldn't swing a cat in bathroom

Review 30:location

Review 31:I think no spa at property

Review 32:Çant remember i been to a lot of houses at barossa

Review 33:Over priced for a tired and dated place

Review 34:Great location

Review 35:Could hear people next door and very cold

Review 36:There was something dead and smelly in the kitchen. The bathroom needs renovation. There is no radio.

Review 37:The location.

Review 38:We loved the fire place, the bathroom was beautiful and the bed was firm but comfortable. Overall a great weekend away.

Review 39:Bed little firm Outside light was on during night

Review 40:Feel of place and ease of booking

Review 41:did not have any milk in fridge for coffee. I thought a complimentary bottle of wine would have been nice!

Review 42:Swimming pool and spa

Review 43:It was beautiful. The pool and the beautiful location was fantastic.

Review 44:What a truly amazing house. My only (very little) gripe was the hardness of the bed. Everything else surpassed our expecttions

Review 45:Beds and no wardrobe to hang clothes

Review 46:Style

Review 47:It was musty and you could hear everything from the other rooms.

Review 48:bit cold!

Review 49:Location Old style property comfort of rooms space

Review 50:The bathroom could do with a heater.

Review 51:Very close to everything. A huge space and all bedrooms massive.

Review 52:The car parking was a bit further away from the accommodation than we would have liked,(only because it was raining when we arrived and when we left)

Review 53:The old world charm, open fireplace and spa.

Review 54:Only a minor point, hot water in shower could have been hotter

Review 55:Spacious apartment fully equipped, comfortable and very clean

Review 56:It was a shame there wasn't another sink to do the dishes in other then the bathroom sink.

Review 57:Open fireplace. Bed was very comfy
