Review 1：The only negative thing that I could mention is that the towels -although very clean- showed some obvious 'ageing' signs:)

It was a very convenient stop in the way to Greece, especially because there is an open farmers market nearby, where we found very fresh fruits, vegetables and cheese to be taken with us on the long road

Review 6：Found it a bit hard to find. And it's right next to the tourist center (for which there are many signs). So - if the tourist center is given as a direction for finding the house, it would be awesome.
Review 7：Everything was perfect! The best guestroom I've been to in Bulgaria, definitely. Excellent location right in the center, parking place, warm and welcoming hosts, very nicely decorated and spacious room, delicious breakfast - really couldn't wish more! And Gabrovo is fantastic - along with Haskovo, I think these two towns in Bulgaria offer the most to see among smaller countryside cities.
Review 8：Nic, the owner, is a great host! This was our second visit to his guesthouse, and he really made us feel comfortable. The grape-vine covered patio in the back is like a paradise. The room was very comfortable, and impeccably clean. We enjoyed a great meal at the countryside style restaurant next door, and then went for a relaxing stroll around the recently renovated "old town" area.

I would highly recommended it to everyone who needs a place to stay in Gabrovo but wants to enjoy comfort as well as ethno-style house.

Review 12：Places to stay like this one are very hard to find in Bulgaria nowadays. We just couldn't find a thing that bothered us and to be honest, I don't think this ever happened to us in any other hotel or guest house we've ever visited in our country. The room, the cleanliness, the kindness of the staff, the wonderful home-made natural food breakfast with fruits and all. Just awesome! Places like these should be praised and, hopefully, the people that run them should succeed because they really give their best for their visitors!

Review 16：An authentic family-run renaissance house-hotel located on a beautiful street in the centre with more renaissance houses next to; Traditional decoration outside and inside hotel; Comfortable beds and pillows, clean everywhere, hot water never stopped; Breakfast - abundant and delicious with any kind of fruits and Bulgarian delicacies; Extremely helpful staff - invited us tea for free everytime we asked at the bar. On last day, the owner waited with us for the taxi at the entrance in the cold weather to say goodbye, really appreciated.

Really enjoyed our breakfast in the courtyard. If I am back in the area I would definitely stay there again. We had come across the shower without a shower curtain before, but here the bathroom was big enough and it actually worked.

The facilities and the ambience are simply amazing and the hosts take great care of every detail and the comfort of the guest. Even the breakfast consists of traditional and home-made dishes and is extremely delicious. The host is a very friendly young guy, who will help you on every occasion. Overall: great value for the money, totally recommended!
Review 37：The location is great, the owner is really awesome (recommended things to do and see, helpful advices) and the cheese pie made by the owner's mom, hot from the oven was amazing! For lunch and dinner we recommend the traditional restaurant located near the property.

The building was entirely renovated, respecting the completely the old architecture (an amazing and unusual roof made of large stone tiles). The owner is very, very kind and can help you with a lot of things. If you're in Gabrovo this the place to stay.
Review 66：Without a GPS it would be impossible to find. The tight, narrow streets of this area made driving to the place very difficult, although I must admit, the fact that this district was laid out long before automobiles adds somewhat to the charm of the place.

Review 74：Ac blows onto a bed. It was very cold in our room (no heating in theroom). There are no lamps above beds. There is not pleasant smelt inbathroom. There is nobody at the reception most of the time. There wasno warm food for breakfast. The owners of the hotel called us for theydid not know when we were to arrive.

We lovedeverything! Now the best part: the owner. He was incredibly friendly andhelpful on multiple occasions. He went out of his way to accommodate andhelp us several times. For example, I forgot a bag full of shopping inthe dining area; it was sent to me by courier within 10mins after Iphoned to ask about it. An awesome guy! All in all, very highlyrecommended!
