Reviews for Le Tichka Ouarzazate

Review 1:The dinner in the restaurant was not a good value of money. (ie 180 dirham for 3 courses meal) The bath tub was slightly stingy and facilitates were quite old-fashioned and some of them are slightly broken. WIFI was not available in rooms but only at reception. At night, the hotel was a bit freaky as it was huge and a bit dark. The rate of exchange was very high when we paid our bills. (better pay in euros with exact amount of money)

Review 2:The breakfast was free with variety of choices. Swimming pool was looking great. Staffs were not too bad.

Review 3:There were bed bugs! They infested all of my things, and I'm still trying to get rid of them. The second room they gave me had them, but luckily the third was clear. In addition to his, they blamed me for bringing them. They did wash my clothes and steam my bags, but were quite rude about the situation. And breakfast wasn't good either

Review 4:The pool area was beautiful. Very relaxing

Review 5:The juice of the breakfast is perhaps fresh, but for sure diluted with (bottled?) water. Not of great taste... You can order a fresh juice, but then have to pay for this. Further, the breakfast is fine. ..

Review 6:Nice, big rooms with working airco. Showers are good and rooms are relatively big.

Review 7:The wifi was virtually non-existant, but that was really my only complaint.

Review 8:The garden setting of the hotel is very pretty, the large decorated pool are all very pleasing to the eye and relaxing. The room was comfortable and a good size, good value for money. The staff were very friendly and helpful and kind. I only stayed one night, but I would definitely go back and would happily stay there for a few nights to chill out.

Review 9:entrance is not overwhelming. we went past the reception to a nice surpirse pool and eating area

Review 10:Big hotel with lots of rooms - so dont expect cosy setup. But rooms are huge and beds great - we had a suite with 2 bathrooms so we could fit in our son. Walking distance to the center and to the attractions downtown.

Review 11:- The hotel is very hard to find! Booking.com, Google Maps and CityMaps2Go (ipad app) all show this hotel in a different location, and all of them are wrong. We were walking at night on a dark unlit street with nobody around, when we finally found a night guard he gave us completely wrong directions. Then we met a taxi driver, who also gave us the wrong directions.- The hotel is advertised as Le Tichka Ouarzazate, but the real name is Riad Salam. It is hard to find if you don't know that the two are the same! - The rooms are dirty. - Very old furniture, the room smells, the ceiling is too low, there was a small 25 years old TV. - The pool looked dirty and badly maintained. - This place gave us the shivers, it was almost scary at night when we arrived!

Review 12:+ The hotel is cheap+ Good location on the main road + Breakfast was nice

Review 13:It was very big and spacious, but almost no people around as we were here in low season.

Review 20:The place and the attention are very good. The location, the rooms, the swimmingpool, everything was excellent.

Review 21:The air conditioning leaks and the fridge didn't work.

Review 22:Staff very unhelpful, I even got shouted at!

Review 23:Room was dirty, they even managed to leave a toe nail clipping on the bedside table!

Review 24:barkeeper is very unpolite.

Review 26:The pool was fab! Helpful porter too!

Review 27:The whole complex including rooms is getting old

Review 28:Price versus offer, nice swimming pool, good parking, excellent beds and air conditioning

Review 29:The Food is quite expencive.

Review 30:Nice pool.

Review 31:Staff should smile more. It needs deep modernization.

Review 32:with really great gardens with a nice swimming pool. quite. within a short walking distance to Kasbah and city center. Decent breakfast. Good wifi connection, but not into rooms. Good value for money. Friendly staff.

Review 33:hot water not hot... on the other side of the town, so for some travelling by Supratour good to know (tax normally 4MAD to go around the town)... no wi-fi in the rooms

Review 34:good for transit when you by 4WD.. pastry for breakfast was delicious... nice facility

Review 35:Grumpy bar staff.

Review 38:nice older hotel, nice swim.pool in the garden, ok for the value. If you are looking for a good meal try Kasbah vis-a-vis kasbah Taurirt ( rest. Manar is not good)

Review 39:Nothing.

Review 40:There is no where in the world where u can stay in an exotic placewith traditional food and a magnificent riad, for the price. As we sayin Australia cheap as a chip. Thanks to management for sending myspecial pillow all the way to Casablanca by ctm. Very gratfull forthat. I recommend the hotel and I sure will go back there when ever Imiss the gate of the desert. Love it. Oh I love the garden, the pool, the painting hanging on the wall the reception Morocco style interiorsjust stunning.

Review 41:Hotel very old, the furniture demands replacement. Only for one night. Be carefully, the real name of hotel "Salam quarzazate"!!!! Not "le tichka" Отель очень старый, номера убогие, только на одну ночь нормально. Будьте осторожны!!! Отель называется салам варзазат, а не ле тишка варзазат!!!

Review 42:Breakfast was good, good location Удобное местоположение отеля в центре города, своя парковка, хороший завтрак.

Review 43:Staff were very rude, and the quality of the food was awful. Orangejuice was old pulp mixed with water. On my second morning I saw anaffluent moroccan family being served fresh juice and "the goodcoffee" that weren't available to others. The first timei've felt like a second-class citizen.

Review 44:Just outside the centre of town, but an easy 10 minute stroll tothe action.

Review 45:Some of the staff were not very accomodating/friendly.Doublecheck your bill, there was a lot on it I never had, they show it just in amount and not wat it exactly was, so I asked for the bills that I signed. That proved that they were wrong. But it also did not suprise me because in Marocco they try to steal en trick you allthe time. Pay attention also whenever you get your change back. That is another way they try to make you depart from your money.

Review 46:To relax around the pool with a book after 7 days horseriding in thedesert was de reason I came to this hotel and that was good. The brochettes were delicious, good taste and soft meat

Review 47:Not easy to find if You don't know the real name of the hotel: Riad Salam

Review 48:Big swimming pool, very big and comfortable room, buffet breakfast

Review 49:staff was extremely nice and friendly...

Review 51:coold in room

Review 52:The hotel looks a bit dated.

Review 53:The garden around the swimming pool is definitely nice. Breakfast is buffet.

Review 54:Dirty hotel, the shower was leaking, ill-lit corridors. You will find better hotels in town.

Review 55:Location

Review 56:Too big and facilities outdated, borderline with hygiene in my view.

Review 57:Price. But there are others with better value for money.

Review 58:the staff.

Review 59:i liked the price

Review 60:first night the room was good, then I was moved to a much poorer room.

Review 61:Position

Review 62:Quite crowdy when a tourist group comes, but they leave as quick as they arrive;)

Review 63:Nice pool, really cheap, nice people running the place.

Review 64:Swimmingpool ! Breakfast on the terrace. And nice place to stay. Green surroundings. A lot of quality for a reasonable price.
