Review 2：spacy family room with kettle and fridge, access to plates and cutlery. storage for stroller downstairs. perfectly close to train station 4 ski/hiking areas and close enough to aqua-city and town-center with many playgrounds for a relaxed walk. good sound isolation and sufficient central heating
Review 3：The location is very good. The room is very clean and comfortable. The small kitchen in the common area is really helpful. The only setback is that staff do not speak English, but they are very friendly, and helpful.

Review 5：Dont be fooled by the general rating of pension slavia.it is better than it should be.the entire hotel smells not favourably of food,in the corridors,in the lobby and even in the rooms.we were woken in the morning when somebody fried garlic at 7am in the little kitchen area in front of our room.there was generally a lot of noise by other guests.our tv showed a camera picture from the reception area which we found slightly spooky.the beds seem to have clean sheets,but the sofa bed didnt make a very hygienic impression.overall depressing atmosphere.

Review 7：Ideal place to rest when you want to explore the mountains. Super close to train station (2min) and city center (15 min) walking. Very cosy, new bathrooms, clean. The most amazing thing were the owners, so helpful and nice!!!!!

Review 9：Located 70 metres from a VERY busy and noisy train line, and on a busy street corner. Continual noise from trains, day and night, from cars on cobblestones, and from patrons leaving adjacent bar at 2 or 3 AM. No air-con and no fan provided despite heatwave conditions. Advertised shared kitchenette a bad joke. Bath towels the size of hankerchiefs.

Review 21：Slavia is really situated near everything you need in town.Just 10 minutes by walking to the aquacity,center of town,train station,shops,restaurants... By the way,Poprad is very nice town and people are incredible friendly.
Review 22：The communal hallway kitchen consists of a electric 2 hob stove top, microwave and a kettle. - There was not cutlery or crockery and there's no sink so I guess you had to fill the kettle in your bathroom sink? The fridge had a padlock on it. We intended to cook but couldn't with these facilities so we ate out instead which was affordable in Poprad. - The bath towels were actually small hand towels so I recommend that you bring your own.

Review 29：Most of the room facilities advertised on booking.com: Seating Area, Washing Machine, Tea/Coffee Maker, Kitchenette, Refrigerator were not available in our room. Some of these were on the corridor, but they were filthy, we washed the shelf of the refrigerator we wanted to use. The room was shabby. The location is noisy, next to the railway station and a pub. There was almost no noise insulation among the rooms. They smoked heavily in the office and aired the office to the staircase, when we opened our door the smoke got into our room. They did not speak any foreign language only slovak, there was no chance to communicate with them and have them our problems be understood.

The guy told us that maybe he has no room for us, he didnt know and had to check before...finally the room was there for us, but coming to the place later in the evening and hear that maybe u have no place for sleep is not good opening words :)

Review 35：I stayed here because I arrived the station at 11:30 pm, I was searching the accommodation near the station. Although it was not easy to find this hotel because its entrance was dark and behind the building, it is actually really close, and it takes only a few minute from the station and 5mins from the bus terminal. The room was clean and cosy, although not luxurious. The owner was really helpful and keep my luggage for a day, and even washed my clothes. So I would say, it was really comfortable stay, even though they do not understand English very much.

Review 37：The walls are incredibly thin. I read reviews about the thin walls and had a hard time believing it would be a problem but you can hear others walking or talking in the room. Very difficult to sleep. The internet does not always work, the lights in the halls are always off and it is very dark, the shower is not very good and the owner speaks no English.

Review 53：A LOT! Everything smelled like cigarettes, whole Pansion, the rooms, the beds. Pansion is right next to pub, and there was so much noise in the night, it was hard to sleep.
