Review 3：No car parking place as informed before. Very very Rude staff in hotel and casino and parking No service in casino. We beg a blody of water and we could not get it. The staff is arguing with you. Parking staff is acting u a like a animal. I coul not find a car park as hoteş said before. And they sent us outside and said go find a parking place outside. Breakfast is bad and dirty tables and crowded and no place to sit

I just like to sit there for 10-20 minutesand why not pay if needed ( spa free for hotel clients ) So this issomething that has to change...2. One of the girls in the CASINO entrance didnt asked for IDs in the morning and asked in the Evening with a RUDE way . Tall brunnette with long hair not the one with the short hair. She is not the receptionist she must be supervisor . Review 8：When I come to the hotel, they asked me to pay deposit to be deducted, regarding the stuff I can use in the hotel. It is first time, a hotel asks me to pay deposit but I said ok. I gave my credit card. At the end of my stay, I did not used anything. On the other hand, I am still waiting for re-payment of the deposit amount. It is so sad that it has been 1 week.

Review 12：Bath-tub very slippery no mat, and the shower head kept falling even after they tried to fix it. I fell and am injured although i did not bother to sue. Old unacceptable TV in the room of a 4 star hotel. The room internet was barely acceptable.

Review 18：Two things I like most at Ramada Sofia - hospitality for the loyal customers and the swimming pool. Now finally they finished the repair of the elevators and there were no queues.

Review 19：I give to this hotel a negative feedback with hope that owners of this hotel pay attention how their property is managed. General it is a good hotel, but some lobby staff is relay rude. Surprised that person named Ivan can work in 4 stars hotel. I have paid my room in advance with a credit card, but at arrival, lobby staff ask me an additional authorization for probable damages and expanses I can create. At hotel's restaurant, they always check this value and at the limit, immediate bill payment requested. Practically payment at checkout is not possible. Payment for the sauna is not included to room and have to payed immediately and separately from room. So all these sequence of unpleasant things create uncomfortable feeling from hotel service, which is not corresponding to 4 stars hotel level. For these reasons next time, I will try to avoid Ramada hotel chain hotel.

Review 25：The location of the hotel was excellent. On Maria Luisa Boulevard, it was near the train station, the bust station ans taxis were everywhere. Near the major tourist destinations. The restaurant downstairs served delicious food and it was a lovely place to meet Bulgarian friends and overseas friends. The staff in the restaurants were attentive. So too were the cleaners, and the front desk and the bellhops who helped with transport.

Review 26：Hotel is renovated in some way, but staff is not professional. Spa center is good but extremely expensive, and the bar prices are out of range compared to typical ones for the area.

Review 59：The room was a bit old, you could especially notice from the bathroom, as there was a sort of humidity problem that you could smell. The shower curtains were a bit dirty and smelled like fungus; the curtains in the bedroom did not block sunlight very well; the hotel lobby felt a bit cold, as it was right near the entrance.

The bed was great to sleep on; the sheets and everything were perfect clean and nice smelling; the complimentary bottles of water are very nice as you might imagine that as you arrive from a long flight or bus trip, that you will be thirsty and drinking from the tap is not an option. I got a free update for my room and a free late check-out. Location for me was great as it was near the subway and the central train and busstation.

The location is 15 minutes walk from most of the major historical sites in Sofia and from Sofia city centre if having business meetings there. The concierge's and chaps on security at the hotel entrance & casino are pure gents and couldn't be friendlier. Taxi rank right outside the door. Hotel Shuttle service to airport is a hassle free trip for 9EUR.

Review 69：The AC was weak! Breakfast was repetitive, and basic.no safety deposit box in the room . And the spa charges you £6 to use the sauna and steam room and the gym is situated in a very hot room next to the swimming pool with no air circulating. The machin in the gym was dated and old .

Review 84：I stay in Ramada Sofia for 2 nights,and totally disappointed at this hotel.I found the water from tap is yellow,unclean,so I called the reception on 10 p.m on the first night,they said they will send guys to check,after 1 hour ,no one came,so I called again,and I waited another half hour,still no one came,then I made a third call to say it is too late,pls fix it tomorrow.The next day,I went to visit Rila Monastery,I told the reception to fix it before I come back.However,I found the water is still yellow when I went back in the evening.I called again,finally,a worker come,but after checking the water,he said it is normal,the history of Ramada Sofia is 40 years,you should trust here.Then he left.I don't think it is normal,in other places in Bulgaria,the tap water is clean.you can see there are many sands after one night if you put some tap water in the bathtub.And the most disappointed is the response of the staff,can't believe let guts wait for so long time without solving the problem.Another case is there is no lifeguard in swimming pool when I went to swim,which is 8:30 p.m ,still in the business hours.I like travelling around world,and have been to many countries,stayed in many hotels,sadly to say ,Ramada Sofia is one of the worst.I will not suggest anybody to stay there.

Review 85：the location is good,the staff in reception is very nice when I took the night train from Belgrade to Sofia,and arrived at 9 a.m,she let me check in early so I can have a shower and have a rest.it is really good after 11 hours-long night train trip.

Review 90：I only used credit card for booking and it was a problem, check in clerk was not impressed when she asked for CC and I said I would pay cash..Arrived after 22.00 and not hot food I ordered room service, could not even offer hamburger. I signed bill, half way through eating waiter came back asking for cash as I did not have account. Gave him 50.50BGN and as I wanted to claim that expense expected invoice to be with check out invoice. Staff said there was no trace of it leaving me out of pocket. Check out took ages as not only did they send someone to check mini bar but clerk was continually answering phone, not good customer service.

Review 91：Asked for quiet room and was delighted. Bathroom a bit dated but perfectly usable. Nice toiletries. Stayed here when it was named The Palace of the Dedaman Group. Possibly not quite as nice as then but still OK for cost. It is fantastic for bus station. Now kettle in room which is a plus.

Review 125：Maintenance is very poor. Who is responsible for maintenance of rooms, all the hotel etc.? If I have an opportunities to negotiate with the director of the hotel, I would like to point out those to be improved. Bath tub, washstand, room temperature control, room cleaning, etc. If those problems were resolved, the hotel will recovere from the present situations(low review point). I wonder the director understands the present situation.

Review 127：The rooms are nice and clean, but old furnitures and window very small can not look out side view.I ask better room with large view window. Recieption employees told me that they have a new wing in new building, but the price is high twi time . I did nt like management because they do not care for customer no respect and no customer service. The other thing I had reservation on March 17 th but Not able to fly and I sent message for hotel reservation manager that I will arrive march 18 th and no credit card and will pay cash.But they charged one more night march 17 th. They have large indoor swimming pool and SPA but customer can use only swimming pool. Another funy thing is security and door man trying to find and call prostitude for customer and the Recieption charge extra € 15 for each girl to go to the room. This was a new experience from Ramad Sofia. I do not recommend for any American or European to try this Hotel.

Review 135：Everything is clean, though some floors are a bit dated in terms of the furniture and decor. Supposedly, it will all be updated eventually. In Bulgaria the main things you need, but usually do not get with apartments, hot water and heat, can be found in this hotel. Free water was also provided in the room.

Review 138：Getting ripped off by taxi drivers, live and learn, always get a yellow cab, go to the taxi desk at the airport don't get harassed by drivers that are hanging around you will get charged double, get the hotel to get you a taxi and discuss the rate it is weren't on the window 0,70 per mile is good, that's less the 1lva per mile.
