Review 1：It was particularly noisy this night, we didn't get much sleep. The noise was from 2 units away, so walls are very thin! Maybe the owners didn't hear it or chose to ignore it.

Review 3：It was unfortunate that after traveling for 2 weeks in the South Island and receiving such great hospitality in every place we stayed, that we ended our holiday staying here - bad vibe from ?owners, dirty plates, bed old and sinking in the middle, terrible night sleep!

Review 8：management are lovley and helpful very open and happy to help . only negative was grotty black mould on the window frames in the corners lounge / bedroom area , & bathroom vanity wasn't cleaned very well on the side , the shower had grotty areas on the door frame .
Review 9：Units close to the road, so noisy. I had an old unit so it smelt musty and had old fashioned and tired furniture and fittings which was disappointing and not great value given the price.

Review 11：Very poor sound proofing between rooms. Was able, without trying, to hear most words spoken by people in next unit and very noisy when they were leaving.
Review 12：Lighting was minimal, central room light not working, so had to rely on overhead bed lights. Conscious my late TV might be a concern to neighbours.

Review 16：Every morning you had to ask for laundry to be opened, even though it says laundry was opened 8-8. Wifi started out dodgy, but came right Owners attitude borders on rudeness, I felt like we were a nuisance to be staying there, even tried hurrying me out before 10 am.on final day. Broken slide should be removed
Review 17：We were very happy with size of unit and its facilities. It was convenient and warm. It is value for money, I was there 5 days
Review 18：Perhaps not a reflection on the motel, but whilst we were directed to park in disability parking by motel staff as some one else was using our park, some whit decided to let air out of our tires overnight. Fortunately they were run-flats and only a minor inconvenience to re-inflate.

Review 20：We were not happy with the charges for the washer and dryer facility. There was a charge of $2 per machine which is fine but when we went to pay we were told it was $4 per machine and the pricing hadn't been changed in the motel folder. Not good enough...they should have altered the folder. A bit pricey $8 we thought too. Maybe $3 would have been reasonable. We decided to handwash instead. We stayed 3 nights here. Although it was a comfy unit we werent' particularly pleased with the cleaning. No vac was done while we were there, just linen change and basic wipe of basin/toilet etc. Thought at least a bit of a vac around the lounge area would have been good. I have cleaned motels in the past and we used the vac each day to spruce up the unit while the visitors were out for the day. Made it nice to come 'home' to! One other thing...there was a cycling event on so a lot of cyclists stayed here too. We were told not to take the cycle inside the unit. That was ok, we dismantled it and left it locked in the car. But others came and took their cycles inside the unit! Certainly one rule for everyone??? A couple of taps dripping which I mentioned but werent' fixed while we were there. Maybe a bit more care in the maintenance and checking the cleaners have done a good job. We had a studio unit plus my family had an apartment with 2 kiddies. So for the price we paid I think they could have gone that little bit extra service.

Review 22：The fact that we couldnt have an hour than usual check out (to 11.00), asked the night before, was reliant being picked up to get Ferry, sat outside and room wasnt even started by cleaners until 10.40.

Review 26：walking in and finding a dirty bath mat on the bedside cabinet, not able to close the bathroom and toilet door as it was all out of line, other clients walking around the complex drinking alcohol ie a cricket team staying there. ONE EVEN WALKING INTO OUR ROOM not a good look when you have a young daughter, I did not let her go for a swim as we felt like it would not be safe for her

Review 30：The lady at reception was a diamond very friendly and helpful on places to eat, awesome, would definitely recommend and stay again. They even said we could tuck our motorcycle undercover, brilliant.

Review 33：YOU CAN HEAR EVERY WORD FROM NEXT DOOR AND WE ALL HEARD THE SNORING FROM THE ROOM NEXT TO US. MINIMAL SELF CATERING FACILITIES. A TOURING GROUP SAT OUTSIDE ONE UNIT AND DRANK AND CHATTED TILL QUITE LATE ; NOT OBNOXIOUS BUT WITH THE THIN WALLS YOU COULD NOT IGNORE IT

Review 41：Staff were not helpful very abrupt and made it feel as if we were a hindrance. We were there for 3 nights in a 2 room apartment, it only had 2 towels in it to start. When we asked for another password for the wifi as the codes only work for 48 hours we were told that we should only get 1 per stay ??? no matter how long we were there. The only time I been made to pay for a motel when I check in, but I think this was to stop you leaving and finding somewhere more pleasant. Beds were like trampolines and everything else very low budget, appliances from the 70's.

Review 48：Room above was extremely loud in the wee hours, plus the mattress was not the best to sleep on. Breakfast not available on the weekends was disappointing. Couldn't get the heater to go. Would have been nice for someone to check everything was okay through the stay.
