Review 1：The garden view room was actually a wall view room. There were dead insects all over the place and a bad smell in the room

Review 3：There is no immediate access to the many beaches, and there is a steep hill to climb to get to the hotel. However, no problem if you hire a motor bike (we were charged THB300 per day). There are no ATM machines on the island, so make provision for that or you will be charged a 5% premium on your visa card for cash.
Review 4：The view from the room and the restaurant is simply stunning. Good quality swimming pool. Very clean, comfortable and well maintained property and no mosquito problems.

Review 9：If you are looking for a beach bungalow experience this probably isn't the place for you. The rooms are on the expensive side but good quality.
Review 10：Lovely, clean, quiet hotel with great views,lovely pool and great staff in a one of the best positions on the island. You can walk or bike to beaches and the hotel is near to other resorts and restaurants which feels like you have more choices than some of the more isolated beach resorts. you can walk to more authentic Thai eateries and "town" rather then being tied to your resort restaurant. Try Mams round the corner by the mini mart, also Koh Mak seafood highly recommended -they do free taxi pickup but it's more pricy. The staff were lovely, Nid helped us with all our travel and bookings. we ended up staying much longer than we intended as we didn't find a nicer resort on the island. We were rewarded with a complimentary meal on our last night! Delicious! The rooms and beds are really comfortable.
Review 11：amenities, breakfast and policy; they are too much cost concious. Not provide sufficient shampoo, soap, poor coffee, very very small portion of food (half size of normal). During the stay we have to take bare foot from the entrance, no slipper provided. Not value to money.

Review 13：The hotel itself did not have direct access to the beach, as it is set on a hill to enable the awesome view described above. The next beach is just a couple of minutes away though and you will usually go to different beaches by bike/motorbike anyways, so this is not a big problem.
Review 14：The staff was very friendly and helped us with all reservations and arrangements we had to make during our stay. The manager spoke very good English and was really thinking ahead. She made our stay a very pleasant one. Also the view from the hotel rooms balcony and from the hotel restaurant was one of the best views on the whole island. The food in the hotel restaurant was also of high quality and always tasted very good. They even cooked really good western dishes. The room, as the rest of the hotel, was very clean and modern. Breakfast was also quite good and sufficient, although there was not a huge variety of things to select from, which has to be expected as they have to bring everything to the island by boat. All in all we had a wonderful stay. We would return to the Islanda Resort Hotel and to Koh Mak any day and can only reccomend it.

Review 16：Staff is extremely helpfull. Locatipn is great, with motorbike you can get to all the nice beaches, close to food street though their own resto is alsorecommended. Pool is great, just like the pictures. Room is tidy and with a balcony. Great time at Islanda.

Review 22：Views from ground floor rooms are terrible, they just look out onto a wall. If you want a better view opt for a room on a higher floor.

Review 25：Beautiful pool with fantastic view. Very friendly and professional staff, who wilm help you with every question you have. They will pick you up from the pier, ask somebody in the information office near the pier to call them. Hotel is not near the beach, but the walk is not too long, you can reach beaches on both sides of the island
Review 26：The restaurant was quite expensive and served really small dishes, though the red curry was amazing... The real issue was that the room wasn't well cleaned, everyhing you could see was good, but under the furniture they hadn't cleaned in ages and this resulted in us finding silverfishes in and around the bed. Also you could hear everything your neighbours did in their rooms...

Review 30：It's not at the beach. You should walk 10-15 min there (going downthe hill to the beach and going up is the way back. But you may thinkabout this like everyday exercises :) The hotel stuff can drive and pickup you everywhere. But it's not free, you should pay for this.

Review 32：Wow! What a fantastic hotel to stay at! Friendly, helpful staff, excellent rooms, facilities and location. We loved the proximity to the beaches, and the snorkling off of CocoCape pier (5 minute walk) was great! Renting a scooter to get around is easy, and it was so good to have the pool at Islanda to come back to after a day of exploring. Thanks to Mr.Kong and the others for making our stay memorable!
