Hotel Dux sells fast on our site. Hotel Dux is located alongside Roermond’s Roer River, around the corner from the Markt Square. It features an in-house restaurant and spacious accommodation with modern bathrooms and a flat-screen TVs.

Review 1：I only have one reason for discontent: the level of customer service. We have stayed in this hotel now for maybe the 8-9th time over the past 3 years. One of my Booking.com praising past reviews even used to be displayed on the hotel's website at some point in time. Still, every time we come back there is no recognition whatsoever. And I do not mean a better rate, I only mean a simple "Hello, Mr.X! Glad to have you back!". Other hotels are much more attentive with their repeat customers. But then they do not have hundreds of score 10 reviews on Booking.

Review 2：Everything was just great, as always. The location, the room, the breakfast, the free minibar etc. We like this hotel best all over the world, we strive to come often and we always feel at home here.

Review 20：No double bed room in the entirw hotel. Although I indicated two persons in the advanced booking, there was not any reminder warning me of the lack of double beds. When I requested to add extra bed, the hotel staff simply said they used up all movable bed and offered no alternative solutions to solve the problem. I will never return to this hotel for its lousy service attitude.

Review 32：A really enjoyable stay. We had the basic room and found it to be really comfortable, clean and of a decent size. There was no view - but I had asked for a quiet room - so we were away from the street. Automated outside shutters to close at night to ensure darkened room. Bed was so comfy and complementary bar and coffee maker a nice touch. Conveniently located by the canal with easy access to the large Outlet Shopping Centre (we walked) and to the town - square just round the corner - lots of shops, cafés and bars. Breakfast was included in room price and had a lot of choice and was of a high standard. Receptionist was lovely and we were always welcomed with a smile when coming and going from the hotel.

Review 37：The Staff was awesome at the Dux Hotel. They jumped thru hoops to make our stay the very best. My wife and I stayed at the Hotel for 2 full weeks. We asked to have a room with a view and we where given three room keys. They said check them out and pick the one you like. The hotel manager was the perfect host. She did whatever it took to make us comfortable in everyway. We arrived during the World Cup. The Dutch where in the final. I was given an orange shirt to wear and keep to watch the game in the hotel bar. The bar and restaurant are first class. The morning breakfast was outstanding and I give it a 15! On a scale from 1-10. Our room was 306 it had a great view and a nice balcony to sit out and see the city and Roer river. The free mini bar in the room is a really nice addition to a beautiful room. Make sure you try the rooftop BBQ if your at the hotel, it was awesome and so was the view. But in the end it was the staff that made our say a 15 out of 10. Thank you for making our vacation so memorable.

Review 39：Simply the best small hotel I have ever stayed in. Incredibly high standard of furnishings. Extremely comfortable bed and pillows, fantastic bathroom, and clever layered useage of lighting. Beautiful lobby/halls and dining area. attention to design detail is incredible. Great food( ate there on both nights I stayed) and Friendly and extremely helpful staff. I loved the whole experience!

Review 40：My wife felt the bed was a bit lumpy. We also prefer foam pillows to feather pillows. Although we were given a WiFi login, the DUX Guest Wifi was open and didn't require login. I don't like open WiFi for obvious reasons.

Review 105：The staff is a bit weird, and customer service is very poor. first of all they repeatedly remind you to book via them directly. But if you book via them you don't have the same cancellation oppertunities as this website, they will tell you that they first need to sell the room, or you will be charged the full load (also prior to your arrival). Next to that they hazard you with that they need to pay fees to booking.com "and that's why they can't give you any good costumer service" (they actually told me this on the phone when i rang for a parkingspot) overall they make you feel you are a less welcome guest if you book through booking.com. But when you actually book through them and you want to cancel they try to claim the whole stay (even prior to your arrival) if the room can't be sold by them. Luckely i always booked via booking.com Dinner is kind of expensive, but you can go to one of the really good restaurants down the street. The bed's are hot, the airco work's poorly, the rooms are small, and if you have a room facing the streets or corner you'll hear traffic, people in the weekends from the bars downstairs and /or your neighbours television.

Review 106：It's a very good place to stay when you would like to shop, the ambiance is very nice and breakfast is good. You have some free drinks in your minibar and coffee and tea are also free in your room.
