Country House Casas Da Ribeira sells fast on our site. Located 4 Km from Seia in the village of Póvoa Velha, Casas de Ribeira is a set of recovered centennial houses. Fully equipped and featuring free WiFi, these typical rustic houses are situated amidst the Serra da Estrela Natural Park.
Each house is provided with a TV, a fireplace, central heating and a private bathroom. The houses can accommodate from 2 to 6 persons featuring up to 3 bedrooms.

Review 1：Shower was not very clean.
Review 2：Private mountain house in cosy quiet small village. Possibility to heat the chimney in the evening and eat breakfast outside next to the house. Hostess brought and put bread on door in the morning. Feeling like at home.
Review 3：One thing to note, not really about the place but more about navigating there... we arrived from the direction of Sebugueiro. The google maps app told us to take a right to a rough dirt road. We tried to find out it that's right and thought that's the only way to the village. We made it by the dirt road but it's really not for private cars, only jeeps and motorcycles. Only when we got to the village we realized there's a normal asphalt road coming in further down the Sebugueiro- Seia road.
Review 4：Great place! It's beautiful and peaceful. The owner is super friendly, warm and nice and we communicated well although she doesn't speak much English. She took care of our needs, gave us recommendations, and was very hospitable. Our baby girl loved playing with the cats and dogs in the yard. The 2 bedroom stone cabin was very romantic and warm and we wish we could have stayed more.
Review 5：Saying goodbye to D. Ana and her pets. We would have stayed for weeks on end if we could. There were simply no downsides.
Review 6：Basically everything, but especially D. Ana, the owner, who's such a lovely lady, easily providing us with everything we needed. Also the lovely cats and dog around the reception greatly enhanced our stay. The accomodations are perfect and we couldn't ask for any better. Moreover, Póvoa Velha is in a fantastic spot within the Serra da Estrela Natural Park, every point of interest is within quick reach.
