Review 1：Amazing value while they seem to be half-way through updating the rooms (our main room was really modern and cool, but the shower room and toilet were still 'old fashioned' (but still spotless)). But given we only paid 38Euro for a double room (with a cot for our young son), this place definitely deserves an 'Excellent' rating at the moment...

Review 9：Sauna was not included, but paid extra and was not a part of the hotel. Wifi did not work at all. There were no keys in toilet / bathroom doors. In the shower, there was no socket for the shower itself, one had to hold it the entire time.

Review 16：i think the room wasn't be renovaited since it was being built, the furnitures are very old and ugly, the wall and the roof was cracky, we got two single bed pushed together instead of double bed, and the wifi signal on the 8th floor was weak, it was hard to close the window, in the morning we woke up for the noise of working people next to our room, the breakfast was eventually OK

Review 18：Hotel is really old full of Russian/Ukrainian loud people. Unfortunately we had room on first floor, you can hear everything from other rooms and hallway, bathroom is old, toilet is not in best condition too. Not speaking about poor staff, will never come back

Review 31：This hotel is a gem. It has been left unreconstructed but feels clean and fresh. Standard is good, but no luxury, I slept well and felt safe. Staff is kind and helpful as well. The hotel's location is very good close to railway and bus stations, and city center. I recommend this hotel to others and will use it myself during my next visit.

Review 32：The bed weren't very comfortable and the room smelled of smoke but I did not request a non-smoking room so this may be my fault.

Review 41：I really liked this hotel. It is situated in the centre of Poprad, walking distance from the railway and coach stations. Fantastic view on the mountains from the upper floors. The reception staff is very professional and friendly. There is no strict house rules therefore you will free and definitely not intimidated. The atmosphere of the hotel really helps to get way and relax. Also retro style gives the genuine hint of the soviet era. Will definitely stay there next time in Poprad.

Review 42：attitude to the customers is not so friendly we got into the room and found ou that there was no soap no other sanitary things except toilet paper in the bathroom and called at the reception. They answered that there were no in that room category (double room) included. Is that a 3-star hotel?

Review 48：2+2 rooms were advantageous for families, wifi on 4th floor was quick, good location, safe parking. If you arrive without extra needs you should be satisfied. Hot water bath, balcony, bads, daily cleanup, breakfast, retro feeling was given.

Review 52：It is a "retro" Hotel, all the furniture and equipments were heavily used. The bed was somewhat clean. Most of the staff cannot speak nor English neither German. The breakfast was below average.

Review 62：The GPS put the address in a different place, and we spent hours wandering about looking for the hotel. The staff said they had similar reports before but didn't know how to fix it.

Review 64：Staff: The lady at the reception spoke just a few words in English and only smiled modestly on more comprehensive requests. Stayed for 2 nights and cleaning lady only tidied one bed, forgot the other and everything else as well. Facilities: It didn't look like there was any renovation done since building the hotel 30 years ago and all the furnishing was original (read: ugly and broken) as well. Cleanliness: Although the room was supposed to be non-smoking, decades of chain smoking had left it's permanent stench everywhere. And stain here, stain there, stains everywhere. Comfort: I don't know if those were pillows inside the pillowcases or just some loose rags. Thick quilts at this time of year? Value for money: This was definitely a bad choice of lodging and a guesthouse priced similarly would've probably been more satisfying. Location: As we were traveling with a car then it didn't matter if it was in the center or not. What mattered were roadworks that closed the only access road and guests had to drive over pedestrian only zone with no guiding signs.

Review 65：I'm having really hard time compiling the list of likable things and if I'd have to name 3 things they'd be: spacious, good enough location, and ... er, nothing else comes to mind. Probably balcony, which came with a nice view over Poprad and part of High Tatras.
