Reviews for Hotel Pineta Campi

Review 1:The hotel got quite old and definitely needs renovations. The location is far up on top of a mountain, driving up is an adventure!! The food was alright, no variety for breakfast. Dinner was very late for my liking and just a little variety. We probably would not stay there again. The age of most guests was older than 50, we're early 30ies! There are no shops or anything up on that mountain you always have to drive. No night life at all.

Review 2:The view was great. The amenities were alright. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Review 3:Certain members of staff. A mature waitress called Aurelia is so rude. She made my friend and I feel very ostracized in the restaurant. Banging her hand on our Dinner table throwing us a menu and pen to prompt us to fill in our menu for the next day. Most days our menu came in German. A few days of English print out. The last night I had ordered my meal the day before. She came to the table pointed at my order and said finished. We had joined friends that evening. 3 German guys she served them their starter before my friend and I.. 2 ladies. The German guys were embarrassed. Also a small Italian guy in reception who drives the hotel shuttle bus us very ignorant and angry. Never tried to speak to us when picking up and dropping us off at Limone. On our departure we paid €10 euro for him to drop us and our luggage at limone. He stopped at the bus stop. We tried to explain we wanted to be dropped off at the car park as we were getting the boat to Malcesine. So he got back in the car slamming the doors and banging on hand on his dashboard and Sat Nav. No goodbye.. Or bon voyage.. Horrible little man

Review 4:At reception Katia is most helpful. In the restaurant Erielio lovely waiter. In the bar Paula and Yoti were most kind. The Internet you pay for is not much good. The sauna is not turned on until 4.30pm otherwise you have to pay. The jacuzzi is cold. If you have a drink in the bar they close at 11 and you are required to leave

Review 5:We think it was located to remotely for a family of 6, to suit all ages. Luckily we had a car to travel down the mountain to the lake.

Review 6:The receptionist named Katia was wonderful. She was extremely helpful, nothing was any trouble to her. The accommodation was clean.

Review 7:A a drawback I would like to mention a couple of things which needs tobe improved. First about the restaurant's kitchen. It feels like itis on a tight budget. The food isn't good at all, tasteless andchoky. Everyday is about the same offer. So, unless waitress were top,the overall dining experience was bad. Drinks, even water, by the way,are extra and charged separately. One will get way better, real Italianfood in any of the local bars or restaurants. The Internet costEUR10/Week, but it almost never works. The speed it close to none.

Review 8:We got a room on a lake side and the view from balcony over the lakewas really magnificent. The room was a bit outdated but clean andcomfortable. Everybody from a staff is friendly and helpful. The hotelitself is located on a top of the hill, the place is scenic andbeautiful. Hiking trails starts straight from the court. It hasseveral tennis courts. There are some nice twisty roads across thehotel to come in.

Review 9:A hotel for in the main tennis enthusiasts. Not easily accessible. Swimming pool indoors and bathing caps.

Review 10:Clean Plenty of parking Great views from our room.

Review 11:The Hotel is pretty high up on the mountain side and my wife was a bit uneasy when I drove up to the Hotel so be aware if you are not comfortable with narrow country roads. The Hotel caters mainly for German guests although this wasnt a problem for us there are not that many British guests.

Review 12:Excellent Food, varied Buffet Style Breakfast and a choice of Itailan Courses for the evening meal, Beautiful View of Lake and sourounding countryside, very relaxing and helpful friendly Staff. The hotel was maintained to a high standard and our room was very pleasant. Plenty of outdoor sports possible and particually tennis.

Review 13:bad smell from kitchen cupboards

Review 14:Pineta Campi is quite a big complex of buildings offering a hotel rooms as well as apartments. The hotel is offering a lot for a tenis players however we have spent there one week in an apartment (a family of 5) and we really enjoed the time spent there. The hotel is lovely, clean, spacious, lots of facilities i.e 2 pools, is located on a hill over 700 m above the sea level with a fantastic view on the Garda lake. Most of the Staff was really frendly.
