Review 1：There were no faults at all.

Review 2：The last time I stayed here 8 months ago, the staff were uncooperative and no breakfast. I disliked it. BUT this time the breakfast which they supplied for us 'early' was fantastic. Very delicious and fresh, the staff were very friendly and warm and the room was VERY comfortable and clean. I loved it and will definately stay there again and again. BIG Thank you!

Review 5：Arranged to have early breakfast and were handed a couple of cold, soggy (from fridge), old bread rolls with a bit of 'meat', bought yesterday from the petrol station across the road. Dismal effort!!! Sort took the shine off the lovely room a bit at 6.30am in the morning. If I had known this would happen, I could have organised my own breakfast as there are 3 supermarkets , close by. Poor effort Balkana!

Review 6：Pretty good location, as in near a supermarket and very close to Bus station but nowhere to eat dinner, closeby. Comfy hotel with hot showers, very clean room, beautifully decorated and comfortable, good wifi.....staff a bit cool but that's Bulgarian!

Review 7：Nothing specific for a hotel in small town. No hair dryer in the bathroom, so bring your own.

Review 8：Great for a business trip. Close to the city centre and the Humor and Satire Palace. Located right next to the bus station and about 200m from the train station. If you are budget traveller there's Lidl on the other corner. Parking was okay.

Review 16：Great location right next to the central bus station. The hotel was very clean and the personnel was nice and kind. Recommended!

Review 17：All the rooms (normal room / suite / apartment) feature twin beds and it's really difficult to put them together to form a double bed. The apartments can theoretically accommodate up to four persons; however, the living-room couch, though extensible, is not large enough for two people. The breakfast didn't offer a fair range of choices (hard boiled eggs, two types of cheese, two types of salami, cucumbers, tomatoes, marmalade, butter, tea & coffee & milk, yoghurt, two types of cereals).

Review 18：The hotel is close to the city centre (10 minutes walk). The rooms are clean and spacious and the area where the hotel is located is quiet.

Review 19：This hotel has an excellent location - 5 minutes walk to the city center, Lidl supermarket 50m away, bus station - 100m. Extremely clean, relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff. Very good isolation and air conditioning. I've stayed in several hotels in Gabrovo and Balkana hotel has been the best one so far.

Review 20：No water for a few hours on 2 of the 5 days I was there, but that wasthe whole area, not just the hotel. I'm not sure how common that is.Rather bland breakfast, but can't complain considering the cost,cerial, coffee and toast were great, I also think its just traditionalBulgarian food.
