Reviews for Casas do Pastor - Chalés
Review 1:A very warm welcome from the owner, he waited at the road to welcome us. The wood stove was burning. He gave us some nice homemade wine. The houses in this tiny hamlet are all renovated with good taste. Its a secret this place. Go and enjoy
Review 2:- We had a small misunderstanding (they didn't receive our reservation), but this can happen anytime anywhere, it was fixed immediately and after our lunch our room was perfect and very nicely prepared.
Review 3:+ Very friendly people + Very good breakfast + Everything new, clean and nicely designed + Great location, wonderful view from the village + You realize they care a lot about people feeling comfortable there (we didn't even have time to use the pool...) + Problem (see other side) fixed immediately
Review 4:This place shows the true simplicity of Portugal. It's a nice small town surrounded by moutains. All the houses were fully furnished and ready for a normal stay. Several towels, bed linnen, Kamin with extra wood, tv, central heating, fully furnished kitchen and a lovely swimming pool. Lovely staff and a fantastic breakfast. If you are looking for some true rural experience on a 5 star accommodation I would strongly recommend you to book at Casa do pastor. We will return for sure ;) Regards Sandro and Nadine / Germany
Review 5:Our host Rui and his son Alfonse were extremely hospitable and could not have been more helpful. The cottage had everything required for our stay. Most of the breakfast food was locally produced by Rui and his family. Cheeses, jam and honey. Rui gave us directions for our touring of the region and to our next destination which enabled us to see the best of the area. We would recommend this stay to everyone.
Review 6:Helpfull host, wonderfull enviroment, pool, hiking trails, perfect breakfest. Friendly people and even dogs and cats. Thousands km. from home we felt ourself as home.

Review 9:Super friendly staff, beautiful panoramic views of the mountains. Sleeping in nature in a relaxed atmosphere. Pretty swimming pool. Very good breakfast including delicious local products.
Review 10:As you might expect from a mountain top, the water pressure was not great.
Review 11:The owner and his sons work really hard to ensure a peaceful stay in this beautiful village tucked away in the mountains. The houses are fairly simple but clean and well equipped. The views and walked are lovely, home made cheese, honey and pumpkin chutney for breakfast
Review 12:Could not find the hotel, no sign posting on the highway. Drove around lost for an hour. When we did check in the room smelled of cats urine, and they did tell us that there were cats and dogs in and out of the room. As I have a severe allergy we checked out immediately.
Review 13:It was more than just a place to spend a night, it was an amazing experience. It was like stayjng in the village from a fairy tale.
Review 14:Rui was extremly friendly and made us feel very welcome. The breakfast with homemade treasures was lovely. The house was perfectly comfi.

Review 21:Everything. The staff were incredibly nice, and the accommodation really exceeded our expectations. We were sorry to leave and want to go back!
Review 22:Hot water went out during my shower the next morning.
Review 23:The owner, Mr Rui & his two sons, Miguel & Afonso are very nice and helpful during our stay there. We're plan to go back there in summer time for more fun...
Review 24:Very friendly staff-they received us with a warm welcome and support us in every request we made. They gave us good tips to explore the city/area. Excellent holidays! Thank you!
Review 25:Basically everything... The location is perfect: altough it is located in an extremelly small village, it is close to the sky mountain and to a wider city center. In terms of confort, not much more to desire in terms of rural accomodation (already with some aspects of modernization). And for last (but for me the most important), the kindness and amability of the owner. He is amanzingly nice... For all of this, it is an experience to be repeated...
Review 26:The place is not in Seia it self and driving at night was a littlefrightning.
Review 27:The hotel owner was freindly and gave us interesting ans usefullinformation about the countyrside. We got materials for the fire placeand the best breakfast we got in Portugal. The rooms are clean and theplace in special
Review 28:The welcome is very very good : so nice owner and his "son" as well. Breakfast is perfect and you can eat a lot ! So charming little stone houses as chalets which they form a small village. We recommend this place for the quality of the place (walks in the mountains with lovely vieuw), for the chalets with all comfort and charming, and for the quality of the welcome. Casa do pastor is like a paradise where you wake up with the noise of the sheeps !
Review 29:The beds in our cottage were very small and with my 1.86 metres, I had trouble fitting in.
Review 30:Very nice traditional and fully equiped cottages situated in a small typical town in the mountains. The owner is incredibly friendly, always available and has a lot of advice on activities in the surroundings. Very nice breakfast including fresh fruit salad and the delicious regional Serra cheese. Nice pool with a stunning view of the surroundings. Even though it was very warm (+35°C) during our stay in August, the cottage remained relatively cool.
Review 31:&Quot;Swampy" odor in bathroom. Navigating steep and narrow lanesin village.
