Reviews for Village Hotel Lucia

Review 1:Nothing worth mentioning.

Review 2:The view of lake garda waking up in the morning is worth more than the fact that this is a hotel for over 60/70s. Us being there sanknthe average age by c. 5 years to perhaps 61. Breakfast is nothing to shout home about but for price paid this hotel is worth more - alone for the view.

Review 3:Hard to find initially signage not v clear be aware one way in has a v narrow gap in road

Review 4:Location perfect for access to bergamo old town v friendly couple who run a lovely traditional villa

Review 5:- When staying in Villa Anna appartments, the swimming pool is not easy to reach by foot and not by stroller, the hill is very steep. - Wifi, although not charged, had very bad reception - The location of the hotel is very beautiful, but the road can be challenging. Be aware the road going through Tremosine from Limone del Garde is better than the steep road most navigation systems suggest.

Review 6:- Hotel room was clean and tidy, beds good (although long people would find them short). - Staff very friendly and personal, remembered all preferences for meals and very friendly to kids - Halfboard for 10 euro per person was very good value for money.

Review 7:We had such a lovely time, the views were spectacular, our room and balcony were really nice. The hotel was excellent value for money, it seemed newly decorated, the pool was lovely with great views. The staff were very helpful, their English was good, and the food was great.

Review 8:Can't fault this hotel. It's lovely!!! You may find the drive up a little stressful but keep following that Sat-Nav, it's exciting and worth it when you see the natural beauty of the road up. If I had to leave any comment, it would only be to say my pillow was quite hard. But that's my preference rather than any fault of the hotel.

Review 9:Exceptional very reasonably priced food and drinks. Cheaper and tastier than anything I had in the near big cities Verona or Venice. Lovely staff, very attentive. Amazing panoramic view over the West side of lake Garda. Lovely quiet room away from the main hotel building with balcony overlooking the outstanding view. Would highly recommend having own transport to reach this hotel. The drive up is fantastically beautiful, and an experience in itself, but a little hairy in parts. Tight bends and winding narrow roads. BUT the amazing gorge and amazing landscape is SO SO worth the journey up to this hotel.

Review 10:Wish I could have stayed longer. Nice one bedroom apartment with a lovely lake view terrace, beautiful! WiFi works well and parking area is large and also suitable for wide or low cars. Comfortable bed also :-)

Review 11:Everything was perfect!

Review 12:-room was spacious with all top quality amenities -amazing lake views from your furnished balcony -hotel was immaculate inside and out -food was exquisite both breakfast and dinner -staff were friendly courteous and professional -located in one of best areas of Lake Garda -competitive price for a top quality hotel

Review 13:I would just say don't book here if you're wanting to go to an array of restuarants etc. A car is mandatory

Review 14:Stayed off season (mid-April) the hotel was spotless with spacious rooms in a lovely location away from all the towns offering good walking and cycling.

Review 15:The room was small with two single beds pushed together with a sheet covering thick ply-board under old spring mattresses making a comfortable nights sleep difficult, the bathroom was very very small but useable, the balcony at night looking over the lake was excellent. The hotels preference in the restaurant was the 10 euro a day menu and choosing a-la-carte seemed to be a nuisance for all concerned. The climb up from the hotel to the villa is along very steep paths which would benefit from lighting. The wifi is not free in the rooms outside the main hotel, the fridge costs 1 euro per day and although you can get a free kettle for a 20 euro deposit there is no point as you have to provide your own tea, coffee, milk and cups if you want a drink in the room. In addition everyone (the whole lake area not just the hotel) insisted in speaking to us in German even when they new we were English.

Review 16:The staff were absolutely fabulous and we felt like we gained some friends whilst we were there, the breakfast was good with a decent choice and as much as you needed which left us very satisfied. The small bar provided a satisfactory range of drinks, board games and a TV were available along with free wifi (but only in the lobby and dining room area) the pool was nice and cleaned daily. The nearby village of Pieve is lovely with good restaurants. The hotel is worth visiting but make sure you get a lake view and a room in the main hotel.

Review 17:The location is good if you're here to rest. A bit far away from everything. 30 minutes to Limone and about an hour to Riva del garda.

Review 18:Most of the staff were very nice and helpful, the views from every corner of the hotel are incredible. We had the lake view room, Room was big clean and comfortable. Eating breakfast on the Balcony was wonderful. Pool was clean , with tanning beds and great views!

Review 19:breakfast quality, extra costs for everything (pool towel, wifi, ...), hairdryer broken 20 minute ride by car from the main street (but you can enjoy the scenery)

Review 20:great view of lake garda, nice balcony, spacious rooms and bathroom

Review 21:Our room felt really old, like it wasn't renewed for fifty years. On breakfast they take all guests that "only" paid for breakfest and not dinner and put them in a separate dinning room with no view - as oppose to the main dining hall which has splendid scenery. Wifi costs extra. Breakfast selection is rather poor.

Review 22:View is spectacular.

Review 23:The road to the hotel is not that easy but exceptionally beautiful - it's an old looking serpantine road. If you are an experienced driver, it's no problem for you - simple pleasure :)

Review 24:Very pleasant hotel with friendly staff. We had a view lake room and we really appreciated it. The view was fantastic - we event decided to stay at this hotel one day longer. The breakfast is nothing exceptional, but ok - you can enjoy it on the sunny terrace if the weather is fine.

Review 25:I would warn those that come without a car that local transport is not very frequent.

Review 26:Luccia could not have helped more, there was no task too large which made our stay a real pleasure. The dinner 10 Euro offer for three courses was very good value for money. Despite not having a car we had a very relaxing stay here. The views of the lake were stunning.

Review 27:I would suggest more local buses to take you to different towns and advice people to take car hire out.

Review 28:The staff couldn't have been more helpful, the food was very reasonable and the location was stunning. The swimming pool area was brilliant aswell.

Review 29:On average 20 minute drive from the Garda shore (Limone sul Garda). MTB friendly region, but not very cycling friendly (lots of tunnels near the lake, and elsewhere very steep). You might prefer a lakeview room since the rear rooms don't have a very interesting view from their balcony. The beds where rather hard.

Review 30:Nice view from the mountains (allthough cars spoil part of the view). Northern Garda lake is more mountainous than southern part. Hotel has a bike storage room, interesting if you take your MTB

Review 31:Very far up from the lake. Access road from lake level is very narrow and dangerous but worth driving if you are an experimented driver and have a small car.

Review 32:The view of the lake is spectacular. Very friendly staff. Clean rooms. Good restaurant.

Review 33:Hi. Our experience here was good. Lucia was very patience with us, changing rooms for us and our kids more than once. We end in a very nice, new room, and the kids in the old part of the building with no view, which is unfortunate because there are awesome views to the lake, if you get it, but they end in an Ok place. The stuff was always great to us. The hotel's got a car to rent, and it came very handy when we wanted to split our activities. Overall, we had a great time here. Thanks !!

Review 34:They don't speak English at all. Hotel is full of older people, we were the only ones under 40.

Review 35:Amazing view and okay rooms.

Review 36:Wonderfull wiew, big enough room, and terrace, very delicious meal. I recommend this place for everybody.

Review 37:Bit noisy, beds could be more comfortable.

Review 38:Amazing view from the room, the pool and the tennis courts, nice three star hotel.

Review 39:To have to pay for wifi or air conditioned. Quite disappointing in 2015.

Review 40:Location on Garda Lake. It's an amazing view.

Review 41:It seems strange why it is necessary to pay extra for the central heating and Wifi...

Review 42:View, an appartment was very good

Review 43:Posto molto tranquillo, splendido panorama, ideale per qualche giorno di completo relax

Review 44:Location is great, lake view is very nice

Review 45:- view on Garda lake, - good prices on food and beverages - parking place to every room, - kind personel

Review 46:horrible road to the hotel, because of the road I would not return.

Review 47:nice view of the lake, nice swimming pool, perfectly equipped kitchen.

Review 48:Breakfast was charged on check-out (46 euros for 3 people!); Access to the hotel from the apartments (a slope, tiresome to come back to the apartment after breakfast)

Review 49:View of the Garda lake and mountains; facilities; comfort.

Review 50:Shower not thermostatically controlled so it gets Very Hot, then cold then back to normal continually. Smokers on the restaurant balcony & by the pool- need smoking & no smoking areas :-)

Review 51:Location: fabulous views over lake Garda, Staff were brilliant, helpful & courteous. Food was good, but sometimes restrictive/repetitive for vegetarians, which seems the norm for Italy :-)

Review 52:The wifi signal in the apartment was very low, so if you want to check the weather forecast, it's better to go to the hotel.

Review 53:We were in apartments in Villa Anna and the view from the apartment was amazing! Self made delicious breakfast with hot coffee served in a little garden bathing in sun in front of apartment and with lovely view on the mountains, birds singing and overall calmness is something I would definitely recommend! The apartment was spacious, clean and the kitchen well equipped.

Review 54:I could say that everything was really great. A staff upgraded my booking to a lake view room without charging extra money. Pool, sauna, food, views, tennis ... You could take childrens with you because its really great place to rest and have wonderfull time. I just cant say anything bad about this place and will get back there soon. Great place!

Review 55:Remember to inform the staff in advance in case you wish to use the minibar cooler in the room, otherwise it smells. Also, the hotel charges extra for using the Air-con (around 1-3€ per day)

Review 56:Beautiful resort in is a magical little town, surrounded with mountains, fresh air and the breathtaking view of lake Grada. Friendly English speaking staff and large breakfast

Review 57:Staff speaks English with difficulties Staff did not give us exact information

Review 58:Peace and silence Facilities Good value for money (apartment) Nice staff

Review 59:Catered for germans but not brits Ants nest

Review 60:Views to die for

Review 61:just small shower which was not a big hostel for us

Review 62:breathtaking view. nice staff. breakfast

Review 63:stunning view, awesome surrounding. perfect rooms for your trip , also for families

Review 64:view from hotel room on L. Garda tenis at hotel fitness at hotel welness at hotel swimming pool at hotel kids playground

Review 65:Wonderful view, rooms were clean and large with a balcony overlooking the lake. Good and abundant breakfast.

Review 66:+ friendly staff + gorgeous view + cosy apartment + swimming pool with free sunbeds + everything was perfect :-)

Review 67:Pool, staff, breakfast, view from the terrace, choice of restaurants in walking distance in Pieve

Review 68:Very poor isolation! Electricity tubs are just in front of you distroying the view.

Review 69:The main hotel is much better. it is worth paying the difference.
