Review 1：Remote to city - you need to drive, only one restaurant near by.

Review 3：We have to say that the mattress was a bit lacking in comfort as it seemed a bit too soft and slightly lumpy on the right hand side (looking at the bed)

Review 4：This was a really great place to stay and with the Speights Ale House across the street it was a real bonus. Easy access to town and the staff were superb. The room was clean and tidy with a great shower and lovely views from the balcony for wine o'clock!!

Review 11：Little bit limited in cooking facilities, for example no chopping board. Other guests smoking on their balconies and talking loudly on their phones. Not the fault of the motel, just today's lifestyle. Not the best location, a bit out of town on the main highway so some traffic noise.

Review 12：Great traditional Kiwiana motel in the holiday style. We had a large room upstairs with separate bedroom and huge bed. Nice eco-fresh products provided in the bathroom. Proprietor and cleaning staff were very friendly and helpful.

Review 14：Managers were very flexible and helpful as we modified our booking at late notice - Motel was clean and had everything we needed - while we did not require the childrens area or use the BBQ - the fact these were available and in very tidy repair - well maintained in a safe location would have been a benefit if we spent more time there. Review 18：Everything. They had everything a tired traveler could ask for. I would definitely stay here again. The young couple that own it take very good care of you. The room has all the cooking pans you would need. Shampoo, Soap, even Q-tips and cotton balls. They were AWESOME!

The room was good and comfortable and our room included a spa bath which was well worth the few dollars extra I paid. The lodge is well located and the staff were friendly and helpful. Review 55：Had booked 2 nights and was told I only had 1 night. I explained I had documentation to prove I had 2 nights. Staff asked me to go elsewhere for 2nd night. I had to insist in order to get my 2nd night. I had booked several months earlier and the booking they had for the 2nd night was made since I had made mine. Very disappointing.

Review 57：Warm welcome on arrival. Unit much nicer then in the photos. Modern and spacious. Free WiFi - an essential ingredient for a happy stay when travelling with teens! Super close to the Springlands supermarket. On a busy road with the Speights Ale house straight across the road - but double glazed windows and a busy road in Blenheim is like a quite street in other cities.
