Review 1：The suite was very spacious and clean with kitchenette, lovely pool, small but adequate gym with beautiful view, restaurant meals were great, staff were exceptional - friendly and helpful. Not as upmarket and more affordable than neighbouring hotels.

Review 28：Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. They were so helpful. Location was great - free shuttle buses and boats made getting around so easy. Everything was so clean.

Review 29：1. A little dark in our rooms. Had to open the cabinets and bathroom to allow more light so that I could pack in the night. 2. One big issue is the number of houseflies. I hate insects disturbing my breakfast, but every morning had to lookout for the many houseflies and couldn't really relax while dining. The dining room is set in a open, gardens/pool environment so more fumigation should be done.

Review 35：Staff forgot our order. The kichen crockery needed scrubbing. The rim of cups was brown from previous uses. Wiping things over is not enough. Staff need to be aware. Bathroom plug got stuck and engineer called. Kettle switch was broken and needed housekeeping to replace it. Cigarette burn on lounge looked unsightly. Surely it could be repaired for this standard of resort. Artwork dusty. This particular room needed a good clean and repair and replacement to update to excellent quality rather than being left to deteriorate.

Review 37：comfortable spacious rooms with balconies and a nice little kitchen with all necessary utencils and electric appliances, a\c worked well, bathroom was clean and, someone already mentioned this, the shower worked really well. very convenient service of a free car that drives you to all landmarks of the laguna (beach, restaurants, shopping area, other hotels) the hotel staff was friendly and helpful with explanations when asked. In a nutshell, it is a very pleasant hotel, good value for money, I would definitely choose it again.

Review 79：We were originally booked into a studio room but upon arrival they upgraded us to a one-bedroom apartment where there is a sofa bed so that we did not need to have to pay for an extra bed for our child.The room was v comfortable and well equipped. We also felt very secure as we did not have to move out of the resort to enjoy things like elephant trekking or going on a free ferry-ride! The kids enjoyed the swimming pool a lot and the staff was very friendly. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Review 80：The food in all the resort hotels is very expensive compared to what you can get outside the resort but you have the choice not to eat there.

Review 81：We have just returned from a 2 week family holiday at the LHCR. The whole Laguna resort area is great with easy access on the free shuttle buses and ferries. There is plenty to do around the resort and lots of day trips if you're inclined. The hotel itself is good, not quite as plush as the other hotels in the resort but very good value for money. The rooms are big and comfortable, cleaned daily. The staff are very friendly and the pool is fun with the slide. I would recommend this hotel for families with children.

Review 82：The breakfast buffet was extensive enough but did not vary at all fromday to day. The sausages were frankfurters. Laguna is quite quiet atnight and to get out you had to pay rip off taxi fares. We did rent acar one day through the hotel which was reasonably priced.

Review 83：The staff were so friendly and made us feel really welcome. The 2bedroom suite was huge and the beds and pillows really comfortable. Thekitchen was very well equipped but we ate out every night. The freeshuttle bus will take you anywhere on the Laguna and you can signanything back to your room from the other hotels. The pool is also greatand overlooks the golf course. The kids loved the waterslide. The staffin reception were so helpful, anything we wanted to do they would callup and book and arrange free transport (spa, golf, some restaurantsoutside will give you free pickup service) For the price we paid thisplace was fantastic.

Review 84：The pool was a little smaller than we expected but it did have a slidewhich was fun. The water was unusually warm, although probably becauseit was 35c outside!You should know that the other hotels will charge you to use their facilities even though they are part of the Laguna resort. Also we think the taxi rates are slightly higher than outside the resort. It's a massive complex but it is rather far from Patong, the port and the south of the island where the nicer beaches are.

Review 85：We stayed in the 2 bedroom suite so it was very spacious and incrediblygood value for the money. The view was of the golf course so it was veryquiet. We were not overlooked by the neighbours either so it was veryrelaxing hanging out on the balcony. The breakfast was really good. Goodchoice of cold and hot food.The free shuttle around the Laguna resort made visiting our friends at the other hotels much more convenient.

Review 86：The cost of food and beverages is high in relation to what you can geton the beach restaurants. A small bottle of water at the hotelrestaurant cost the same as a delicious Thai main course in one of thebeach restaurants.

Review 87：This is a lovely setting along the side of a quiet golf course and thelaguna, and forms one of the many luxury hotels in the Laguna Phuketenclave. We had a lovely one-bed apartment with kitchenette, diningarea, sofa bed in the lounge for our son, bathroom and two balconiesoverlooking the golf course. The staff are all extremely courteous andhelpful. The restaurant is called @17 which has a small range ofinternational and Thai main courses and appetisers, and also a kiddiesmenu. The food isn't too expensive but drinks are, but we keep asupply in our apartment. The pool area is beautifully laid out, plentyof sunbeds and a water slide which kept my son busy for hours. There isalso a great kids club with a programme of activities for little ones,and a small outdoor play area on the lawn outside the pool and kidsclub. We loved getting the free tuk-tuk shuttle bus around the LagunaPhuket resort to the other hotels and to the glorious 8km pristine BangTao beach. Check out the Reggae Bar (go to the Outrigger hotel and turnleft when you hit the beach, and walk a few mins along the beach) andalso Tom Yam Goong restaurant on stilts just as you get to the beachfrom the Outrigger.

We could get every place of Laguna by free shuttle bus, that was very comfortable. This place is good for families and couples, but it is boring for individual trevellers. They are really informative and friendly.

Our girls hadtheir own bedroom, we had the other bedroom and there was a living areawith dining and cooking facilities. There was also a balcony withseating outside the living room. Review 109：1. The facilities are old and need renovation. One of the toilet in the first apartment cogged up, with human waste overflowing with water. It was quite disgusting. The first reception person I contacted regarding this problem told me we are suppose to throw the toilet papers in the waste basket in the bathroom instead of the flush toilet. (She in fact told me all hotels in Thailand are like that!) I asked to speak to the manager, who quickly moved us to another apartment, where the toilet worked fine for the rest of vacation.2. We had stayed in Laguna resort area 3 years ago, where the boys are able to buy day pass to use facilities at other Laguna hotels, mainly Laguna Beach resort where water sports were aplenty. We only learned upon arrival that LBR has been sold and is closed for renovation. This info was not updated on the Laguna website or the LBR hotel website or on Booking.com, but should have been.

Review 110：The area is suitable for family vacation, although everything in thelaguna resort complext is rather expensive.

Review 112：Very poor value at restaraunt - food twice the price and half as good as nearby local restaraunts. Baby cots supplied were filthy and in poor repair - eventually gave up asking after third one provided. Room was generally dirty / grubby and in need of thorough clean. Kids playroom had a vile stench, due to nappy / paper bin in the toiet not being cleaned / emptied regularly. Tiles around swimming pool were of a flat polished type and became very slippy and dangerous when wet. Friends who were still at the hotel during Tsnumai alert (11th April) reported the hotels procedures were farcical and ill planned.

Free shuttle bus to get around Laguna, though sometimes dangerous, especilly with young children, if driver driving too fast / breaking sharply - seating is very basic with no belts and lots of hard edges around - and filthy fumes from exhaust. Some very good restaraunts within other Laguna hotels - Italian at the Dussit.

Review 114：Our only negative is that because the resort is geared especially to familiies, the pool was always busy with mothers with very young children. ( we have a 13 year old boy) Pool not really suitable to older children or adults wanting to relax as quite noisy.

There was plenty of space with 2 bathrooms and 3 tv's between us. There was also a dvd player in the room.Handy if it rained. Apartment was clean and provided all facilities needed.Nice balcony. Staff were excellent especially the porters and front desk ladies. Both of these always smiling and friendly. We couldn't want for more in terms of facilities and good service etc. The locations is quiet overlooking the golf course. Our stay here is memorable and we will stay again given the opportunity to go back to Phuket. The laguna area is lovely with great beach front restaurants which are easily accessible by free shuttle.
