Review 1：However, the lamp on the right didn’t work. Finally I discovered that the plug under the bed was not thoroughly plugged. I pushed my slim arm under the bed and voila, done.

Review 2：A warm welcome I got. Friendly and helpful couple were the owners (I assume). I wasn't left to find my room on my own. The owner helped me call a taxi for the airport. Last but not least, in a thoughtful way the owner gave me sellotape for my broken glasses. She even suggested to have them glued when her husband returns. I got a room with a nice garden view window. Plenty of refreshments were ready in the cabinet. Kettle, hair dryer, iron, ironing board, steel bar in the bathroom to dry small items, all of them, made the room well equipped. Location speaking, it was pretty convenient for access to shops, restaurants, train station, and airport. The little river park across was also lovely. Provided the weather is warm, it would be a nice place to enjoy the sun setting down by Taylor River.

Review 3：Staff very helpful and accommodating - allowed us into our rooms early so we could get ready for a wedding. We were only staying for a night so did not really use any of the facilities other than our rooms.

Review 6：I did book a big studio but we ended up with a unit that had a large king size and a single. I called and asked if they could split the large king size into two singles and they said yes. I was travelling with my mother who had a walker so the room we ended up with did not have much space. Also felt that there needs to be a smaller/cheaper breakfast option.

Review 10：This was NOT a bad experience just two gentle suggestions that would add to the comfort of the room for older travellers 1 the addition of a small table for tea etc when using the very nice rattan chairs and 2 Improvement of the lighting beside bed We found it too dim for comfortable reading and though a small additional lamp was provided on the desk bench we couldn't be bothered getting out of bed to adjust things as it meant plugging in another light which actually looked too short to add much to the difficulty we were both having As noted these suggestions were not the result of a bad experience just thoughts for improvement We really enjoyed our stay

Review 21：Accident with water overflowing on the floor. No overflow in sink and water was on very slow, but went out for dinner, came back to room and there was quite a mess. They moved us to a new room, which was very nice. However, in the morning, the female manager, who was very nice and talkative, the day we checked in, was cool and quite abrubt.

Review 24：Enjoyable stopover, room was very clean and very comfy bed, unfortunately wasn't the weather to indulge in the pool :( We had our 1st nights meal at the in house restaurant which was very nice (and the young waitress was really helpful) and 2nd night at the Marlborough Clubs facility which was about 10 min walk from the Hotel (highly recommend)

Review 25：Breakfast a disappointment - limited cereals, and tinned pears and peaches aren't what we expect for fruit. Possibly due to the fact that there weren't many guests? However, the cooked breakfast was good, in spite of the overcooked sausages (which were otherwise the best we'd tasted in either New Zealand or Australia). No self-service laundry on site (not as common in NZ as in Oz) but we were directed to one within walking distance.

Review 26：The owners were very welcoming and very helpful; we had dinner on the first evening and were impressed by the quality - everything perfectly cooked. Not quite so good on the second night, but still good, and in any case we sampled a local restaurant on the third night - a 15-minute walk along the river bank. The swimming pool was excellent - clean and big enough to do some swimming in. Location is ok - within walking distance of the railway station and the town centre, so possible to manage without a car.

Review 27：This hotel and this city were just rigtht to start our trip trough NZ. Blenheim is just nice and relaxed and the staff in the Hotel was very friendly. We especially enjoyed a jump into the pool after our long journey. And the owner of the hotel gave us a lift to the train station, which was a real treat with all our luggage. Thanks!

Review 75：The location is a little awkward, it was a very short walk to town, however I didn't feel too safe doing the walk on my own after dark, yet it was too close to warrant a taxi. The room was so spacious and well equipped, but a little dated looking. The rest of the hotel was ok, nothing special but clean and tidy. Bad sound insulation between rooms. I was very tired after running a half marathon but couldn't rest due to my noisy neighbours. Plug sockets next to the bed would be beneficial for mobile phone.

Review 76：Very nice friendly staff and very large spacious room and bathroom. After a cold crossing on the ferry I was greatful for a cosy warm room and lovely hot shower in the spacious bathroom. There is a bar and restaurant and room service available. The food I ordered from room service arrived promptly and was very nice.

If you are looking for a great place to stay in Marborough Wine Country, stay at the Quality Hotel. Highlight Wine Tours will pick you up for a tour of at least 5 wineries. The staff at the Quality Hotel Marborough were pleasant and helpful. We arrived early and they offered to clean our room immediately but since we were scheduled for the Highlight Wine Tour, we told them it wasn’t necessary. Breakfast was plentiful and varied (hot and cold options). Overall a great place to stay.

No air conditioning made a very hot night ..there was a pedastal fan that didn't work but the lady found us another. It was very uncomfortable. The booking stated cooked breakfast but only continental was included. The booking was misleading because it said exec room with 2 person spa..but it was a small bath and I was told the spa was broken yet the booking led me to believe it was in the room. No mini bar services either.. a very disappointing stay .not value for money

Review 99：The toilet was so close to the door a big person would have trouble. Also there was a build up of steam in the bathroom so you could not use the mirror. (IT was the only mirror in the place) Hard with 2x women
