Reviews for Piccola Italia

Review 1:The best view ever, and the best scenic drive to get to this resort. What an amazing place. The stay is superb, as well as the food and hospitality. As you follow the road, you might think that you are lost, no you are not, you are in fact driving one of Italy's most scenic and narrow roads around Lake Garda and the Southern Alps - strada della Forra.

Review 2:On arrival, our room had been given away. No apology or explanation - we found out when we went into the room. On going back to reception there was no apology and a half hearted effort to provide a suitable discount. The service in the restaurant was terrible - we waited an hour for something to arrive at the table - when we complained we were made to feel it was our fault. We ate out the next five nights - fantastic service and food in the villages around. Avoid the restaurant!

Review 3:Fabulous location, although do not expect good access to the lake. Great pool

Review 4:- Insane: the kitchenette is only available for additional EUR 15,00 / day !!! (first time experience and not mentioned in conditions on Booking). - the 'villa's' are appartments (2 per building unlike the description on Booking) - although the description on Booking mentioned the 'villa's' have gardens, our appartment only had a balcony. - a nice pool but definitely not cleaned for a while (although water seems clean, you can write your name on the side walls)

Review 5:+ location + beds + set-up of the accomodation + receptionist (friendly german speaking guy) We had a nice stay BUT... the accomodation is overpriced (EUR 160,-) for the quality offered.

Review 6:The mountain road to get to the hotel was not so good and once you had left the main road still had 10k to go and takes a good 20mins. Also on the Sunday evening it was the chef's day off so only a limited menu was offered, and this a 4* hotel.

Review 7:The staff were very pleasant and friendly. The hotel room had a separate bedroom and seating area with a balcony and view that took your breath away. One of the best hotels we have stayed at in a long time.

Review 8:bad w-lan connection, not so convenient to reach the lake from the hotel daily, because of tilling floor you can hear many noises from the neighbours especially from above

Review 9:I had sup. room with big balcony and very nice view to Garda Lake and mountains, breakfast is good and possible on the terrace, nice swimming pool, convenient parking, in total a very nice place for vacation and relaxing

Review 10:Everything was perfect, we were sorry that we had to leave. We'replanning to go back again soon. Minden tökéletes volt, sajnáltuk, hogynem tudtunk többet ott maradni.Tervezzük, hogy majd hamarosanvisszatérünk újra.

Review 11:The apparment was tight for 4 persons, when the other bed was in the seating area.

Review 12:The mountain road to the hotel was exotic! Excellent view over lake Garda into the snow-covered mountains straight from the balcony. Good breakfast and a large swimming pool. Though still cool water on April, later on more comfortable for swimming.

Review 13:Everything is great, but be prepared to drive in a quite hard mountain road (even almost without traffic). But the view from the window after you arrive will worth it.

Review 14:After a quite difficult mountain road I was very surprised to see such a nice hotel. Just from seeing the lobby you understand that this place is good to stay. And the room was very nice - it has a separate bedroom, a sitting area and a big balkony. And the view from the balkony is outstanding. The breakfast was a best from all 15 hotels I have visited during my vacation!

Review 15:Check-out at 10:00 is early by Western standards. We stayed later, butthe front desk manager allowed it rather unwillingly. The service at thepoolside bar was relatively bad - mostly due to the one waiter whostaffed it and appeared to be living on another planet...

Review 16:Beautiful location, stunning views, decent family-friendly rooms, swimming pool, well-kept grounds. It's not top design, but it'scomfortable and well kept.

Review 17:The only negative thing about the hotel was trying to find it. There are two ways up to it. Both are pretty tricky but what an experience!

Review 18:A very attractive hotel set in a stunning rural location, well off the beaten track.

Review 19:For very high level of comfort the place where hotel is located is not quite good - you have only 2 pretty narrow roads coming through the mountains to the hotel and you need minimum 20min. of extreme driving to reach the hotel. i guess during the season the 2 roads would be full of vehicles and it would be really an adventure to reach the hotel, especially in dark time. But as a romantic or biking place it is fully ok.

Review 20:Comfort, equipment, breakfast is fully ok. Also perfect view on the mountains and the lake Garda should be noted. Very friendly personal.

Review 21:cleaness, position, breakfast

Review 22:Nuostabi vieta kalnuose. Ramybes oazė.

Review 23:the bed was a little bit uncomfartable, but the rest of the stay at Piccola Italia was excellent

Review 24:Breakfast was very good, hotel is on the top of the mounatin, great wiev.
