Review 1：Staff we very slow even for Thailand, other people had charged drinks to our room from the bar. Very dated, and the power cut out in the night. Hotel taxi is very expensive. I would not go all inclusive as the food was awful! I saw people throwing it in the bin.

Review 2：Large room close to Bang Tao beach, however the beach isn't great, murky water. Surin beach nearby is much nicer and has crystal clear water.

Review 21：Very good quality of rooms in the main part of the resort (not in thevillas): big, new furniture, clean, comfortable. Very rich breakfast,with both western and Asian food selection. Great facilities, pools,sun lounges, gym, two restaurants, bars, games, books, magazines,billiards, ping pong table etc. Access to beach - a rare attribute forPhuket hotels. Lots of greenery, it gives the feeling of a truetropical beach resort.

Review 22：Criminal behaviour of certain staff at check in: even though 3 rooms were booked since Jan. and 1 room since May, at check-in we were told the booked rooms were not available and they wanted to send us to another hotel. After our contacting the police were we given 4 rooms, although 2 of them not as per our booking. This process took 2 hours and completely destroyed the mood from our overseas family. Only the next day the other 2 rooms got their booked rooms. They "compensated" by not charging 1 day but to our amazement we were told to sign a paper that we would not claim anything anymore nor publicise this intentional criminal set-up. I would appreciate any follow-up before my family leaves back overseas.

Not recommended for solo traveler as the beach and hotel are very quiet and more like a couple or family style place or someone seeking to be alone to relax. But when the hotel has no night life and the town shutdown early, there is nothing to do.

This was not on the booking when booked but when I checked afew days before it said 'minor construction' and there was aone night cancellation fee to cancel. I would not have called thisminor. Felt very sorry for people with a room by the pool (mine wasnot, it was in the villa wing) as they would have been subjected to thenoise all the time.

Review 57：Villa wing! The cheapest rooms but very spacious and beautiful. Westayed on the 1st floor which meant our little one could run onto thegrass to play. Very well kept area, not facing the sea but quiet.Staff showed great Thai hospitality. Nice little kiddies room. Kiddiespool was pretty cold and not always that clean, but otherwise ok. Nicetouch to have a separate family and adults pool. Beach outside isbeautiful, unlike nearby Kamala. No rubbish. Husband enjoyed surfingthere and shallow enough for our little girl to run in the waves.Lovely large fridge in the room - perfect for families! I wouldrecommend (and will return!)

Review 58：I prefer a bright room, and these lovely large rooms are fairly dark and you need lights on during the day. Décor is getting a little bit dated too. They are currently renovating part of the resort, which did not really affect my stay.

The yoga, pilates classes, good wi fi in room. I extended my stay. Nice restaurants & mini marts are right outside the door if you don't wish to eat on premises. Very helpful front desk staff.

Review 60：Hotel does not have a lift. Breakfast buffet is the same every day. More like a comment: There are no sun beds on the beach as the tide during a day is high. And for the few sun beds next to the hotel restaurant overlooking the beach/sea - first come first serves.

For the whole week of our stay we were made to wait out food for 30 min at least, even when we were the only guest in the restaurant. One time we waited for 1h20. Spa center is just a little place, it was closed some of the time, so we didn't have a chance to visit it often, however we specifically booked hotel with spa. Smell in the room was always very moisty.

Review 83：Bang Tao beach is a very good beach. But it doesn't have transparent clear water. Good location on the beach. Very beautiful sunsets. Near the hotel there are car rentals. Good breakfast. A lot of masseuses on the beach in special tent, so there never was any queue for massage. Thai and oil massage is good.

Review 84：Some of the reception staff were giggling when talking to guests and didn't seem very professional, shuttle to Patong is 200 Thai Baht per person one way and you can only spend 3 hours in Patong, the balcony of our room was very dirty... looked like it hadn't been cleaned for a year.

Review 99：The location of the hotel is great: it is right on the beach, and that beach is beautiful! Not a lot of people in the water, shade in the morning, very nice.

Review 100：Garbage all along the beach (just outside the resort's beach borders). The back of the neighboring lot - housing a beach restaurant - was a dump, and it was perfectly visible from the stairs leading to our room (took some meaningful pictures of it). Insufficient English language skills of the reception staff. Most of the time it was hard to communicate with them. Awful musical entertainment, both wired and live, based on questionable covers of horrible American boy bands' hits, broadcast all day... no escape from it, not even in the garden! Disturbing crowd of noisy water motors, riding too fast and too close to the security area, thus not respecting safety rules. Poor cooking, definitely below Thai standards. Location: apart from the beach, there was nothing else worth seeing, nowhere nearby to have a nice walk in the green. The surrounding area was dirty and unkept.

On the last day our room was not cleaned, of course, it was not a big problem, but it looks like we became unwanted guests and were forced to leave as soon as possible.

Review 122：Seemed small, but ended up being a big pain for our family. The WiFi was not free for the rooms (only the lobby and by the pool) and when we did pay, it didn't connect well with our iPad because of a weak and slow signal. Seems like no big deal, but our kids really wanted down time with their favorite shows on their iCloud account and we couldn't connect with them in our rooms after a long day of swimming and playing. Plus, we thought it wasn't very fair that we had to pay extra to get Wifi for the rooms. And the logging out was a pain. If you didn't do it properly, your paid Wifi minutes would be gone the next morning. We weren't happy about that. But to give you perspective, we live in S. Korea where the Internet is excellent and nearly free everywhere you go.

Review 123：We loved the location, the pool, the kids club, the delicious breakfast buffet, the beach being so close, the size of the rooms for our family of 4, the shopping near by, friendly staff (mostly)...Overall was a great place to holiday for two weeks.

Review 138：englinsh skills of staff need improvement..misunderstanding because of poor english skills, particular at the restaurant.....

Review 139：Honesty of staff.. on arrival i needed to change money.the receptionist was under stress since it was a busy check in time.A mistake with exchange rates occured which she appologized for next day and payed out the missing money. Very honest!! Location, Location, Loacation....upgrade to room with pool view. Breakfast withe phantastic view.Cooking school with tai chef, phantastic. Free WIFI, even on the beach.Hope to be back

Review 140：room smells old wood; very bad internet conection in the rooms and even if we payd for a double deluxe room they give us user name and password just for one divice for second one you need to pay per hour; no elevator; and dont pay see wiev room because you will see just trees ;

Review 143：Beautiful beach. Activities provided during the day, yoga, aqua gym,Pilates, zumba. Happy hour drink prices. The staff were extremelyfriendly and helpful. Ninanio in the restaurant speaks perfect Englishand his service is above and beyond expectations.

Review 144：Hotel has lots of strange policies they want you to sign at check in, eg: 1 towel per person per day, even if its pouring and your towel's wet, even if you do an activity, and you cant get a towel before 9am. In a beach resort! WIFI very unfriendly, you'll have to renew the account often.
