Reviews for Hotel Piero Della Francesca

Review 1:The breakfast was disappointing as it was mostly just different types of cakes, but I understand this is not uncommon in Italy!

Review 2:The room was basic but clean and had everything we needed. Check-in and check-out were straightforward.

Review 3:I knew that the location was not in the historic city, and I will not complain for the 20+ minute walk that indeed is lovely. I also expected basic facilities, in fact the PDF Hotel looks like those rundown accommodations designated by school's trips in which the scope of furniture is to resist any kids' vandalism. What I did not expect was to find such an accumulation of dust, others' hair, etc. in a 3*** hotel.

Review 4:Such a kind staff! I arrived too early and the room was not ready, but I was allowed to leave my luggage at the hotel. As it was urgent for me to get some documents printed, they offered me to use their own printer.

Review 5:The personell' s English is very poor which led to some misunderstings. The airco wasn't working in the room.

Review 6:It's a clean hotel and the backside has amazing view on the surrounding hills. Also, there was a bath in my double bedroom which is definitely a plus.

Review 7:No tea/coffee making facilities, but not unusual in this type of hotel.

Review 8:Bus into centre of town is right at the door. Walking from the centre is also pleasant. WiFi fast and reliable.

Review 9:Not a high ranking hotel, but the staff was really kind and helpful, it has a good quality/price relation and the room was clean. We had a nice stay.

Review 10:Woman on reception didn't even look at us. She tried to charge us more than was stated on Booking.com. The room was dingy and overlooked a derelict building site. The restaurant was closed and when asked for local restaurant, receptionist just pointed down the street. The area is very run down and does not feel safe, and the parking space and hotel are not secure. When went out for food later there was no one staffing the front desk - anyone could have walked in! The shower head was broken and sprayed water in the wrong direction soaking the floor, the carpet was filthy and the bed wasn't made when we arrived. The quilt was a single ( on a double bed) and had no cover. The breakfast was adequate but uninspiring and the breakfast room door led onto the street and was left open allowing flies in. Overall, it was a horrible experience and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Review 11:It was a convenient place to stopover on our journey

Review 12:No soap or toiletries in the bathroom, leaky shower, no view from balcony, very uncomfortable bed.

Review 13:Location was ok because we had a car-parking is tight though. Free WiFi.

Review 14:Bit worn around the edges, no charm.

Review 15:Much better than the reviews suggested. About a 20 minute walk from the town center but mostly flat, sidewalk. Boring but perfectly safe and way better than trying to arrange parking or paying for a garage. Pleasant view from little terrace if you get a room in the back.

Review 16:Small bed (not even enough for two adults) dirty shower (silicone was applied very rough and dirty), over all the building looked like it needed a facelift and dated back from the industrial seventies . Not so friendly staff at the reception. Breakfast was poor.

Review 17:Nothing

Review 18:Overall, the hotel is a bit shabby. Rooms are rather cheap so I wasn't expecting too much, yet my room was smelly and a bit run down.

Review 19:Good customer service, the staff was really nice.

Review 20:Wifi only in reception, despite being advertised as in every room. Not in "romantic" city centre (15 min. walk), but as a compensation, free parking available

Review 21:Straightforward practical, good value for money

Review 22:There was a leak in the bathroom and the metal external shutter that kept the room dark didn't work. The WiFi didn't reach our room on the edge of the hotel.

Review 23:Staff are generally helpful and put the small things we reported right immediately, (cigarette butts in plastic cup left on balcony, no refuse bin in bathroom).

Review 24:Check out time different that declared in the offer.

Review 25:Nice view from the window. Rooms and toilets oldfashioned but clean and pretty spacious. Short walk from the old city.

Review 26:- mediocre breakfast - lobby needs renovation but that is not important to us

Review 27:- Location, about a 5 min. drive to a parking by one of the old city gates. - helpful front desk - easy to park around the hotel - adequate room and bath

Review 28:It's about twenty minutes walk into the historic town - but then in most, bigger cities you'd still be walking through the suburbs.

Review 29:A warm welcome, and enough facilities to make it a comfortable stay, plus available free parking next to the hotel.

Review 30:The building and decoration are extremely old and dirty, reminds of some hospitals of the 60's, though the bed was clean and comfortable. The WiFi works in the lobby only. The rooms facing the main street are noisy even if we asked for a quiet room. The staff as far as we saw don't speak any English. There are much better options around for the same price

Review 31:Good location, walking distance from the city center.

Review 32:No parking appeared available when we arrived (around midday) - just had to be patient as spaces were freed up

Review 33:Free parking in street to side of the hotel 10-15 min walk to old town of Urbino was mainly on the flat Good value

Review 34:The fact that there is not even one channel in English on the whole television network!

Review 35:I liked the fact that I had a view for a change.

Review 36:there is not adapter for my laptop and I coudn`t use it

Review 37:Wanderful view to the sunrise.

Review 38:Cordialità efficienza

Review 39:OK for en overnatning

Review 40:Was within walking distance to town. Nice view of the sunset from the room.

Review 41:Free parking...not really clear,

Review 42:Perfect location, good value for the price ,clean, comfortable

Review 43:WiFi could be better. POS apparently not working, although I paid with the same card in 7 countries. Maybe they prefer cash.

Review 44:Clean room; helpful staff; good value

Review 45:Spacious room and the free internet computer in lobby was very helpful for us. Nice pizza place nearby for dinner - Mystic Pizza.

Review 46:N/a

Review 47:Very friendly people. Architectural and cultural overload, superb.

Review 48:Nothing in particular.

Review 49:A fair hotel for a fair price. The closeness of Urbino centre is pleasant.

Review 50:The hotel was good value for money. It was clean and comfortable. It is just a short walk to the historic town which is very pretty and interesting.

Review 51:Everything was fine

Review 52:Helpful staff and reasonably clean

Review 53:The double bed was too small.

Review 54:the room has no ac and no view , while on the reservation it says that it does have those

Review 55:Clunky lift on occasion.

Review 56:Clean and comfortable, parking easy, nice outlook from our room

Review 57:Too far away from city center.. Breakfast meager.

Review 58:View was nice and parking was handy and free. Staff friendly.

Review 59:Price

Review 60:Wifi working poorly and interruptions. The breakfast could be better, but it is a typical italian prima colazione: espresso machine coffee and cornetti.

Review 61:Nice offer for one night, correct place although old and not truly luxury.

Review 62:Many people complain about Italian breakfasts only coffee & cake or pastries but that is what they eat . If that is a problem for you then the breakfast wasn't very good but I did like the yoghurt which I did not expect to get. Those self-serve coffee machines aren't very good.

Review 63:Staff were generally helpful even if we had some language problems we worked it out. Loved m6 balcony view as it had been snowing. The big glass door onto the balcony gave the room a spacious feel. Could see the stars & the sunrise. If you are not a mornig person there is a blockout shutter you could put down but I didn't bother. Short 15 minute walk to the old town. Opposte the hospital, handyvif you got sick! Made hotel easy to find.

Review 64:Well located with close parking and reasonable walk into the old city. Rooms comfortable with great views out the back over the valleys and mountains.

Review 65:wifi did not connect in the lobby and the modem had no reach in the room too little hot water do not take a room on street side, the traffic is very loud.

Review 66:distance fron town was ok

Review 67:Breakfast was ridiculously poor; unacceptable quality of coffee (by Italian or other standards)

Review 68:- sixties luxury building with character - spacious rooms, nice balcony, a bit run-down but comfortable - great price/value proposition

Review 69:The rooms are too simple for the money we paid. Breakfast are also verysimple. The wash basin is hammered. Electrical socket are damaged.Розетки отваливаются. Умывальник забит. Завтрак скудный. И это за 70 евро в сутки. Но альтернатив не было - мы приехали на крупный религиозный праздник и похоже что никто не работал в те дни.

Review 70:We liked the location. It is about 10 minutes of walk to city walls andto Panoramic Viewpoint. We also liked the view from the windows.Supermarket is near.Хорошее расположение - минут 10 ходьбы до городских стен и до точки с панорамным видом на город. Супермаркет недалеко. Вид из окна отличный!

Review 71:Limited breakfast

Review 72:Good price

Review 73:10 min. walk from centre, spacious room, easy to find free public parking around the hotel, very good wifi

Review 74:Location wasn't the best but not far from centre to walk about 15 mins.

Review 75:Good value for money. No complaints

Review 76:position easy to find even at night

Review 77:poor breakfast. Noise in corridors as rooms are not soundproof

Review 78:location. sizes of rooms. easy parking; staff friendliness

Review 79:internet works

Review 80:Breakfast was awful, no air-con available

Review 81:it's cheap, clean, close to the centre
