Review 1：very little. the cups and glasses were too small, which was most annoying if we'd just got in from a long walk out in the cold and just wanted to sit down with a hot drink. next time i go i will take my own... oh and sign on the dishwasher saying where the on button was (right at the bottom under the door) would of saved us a full ten minuet search when we were packing up to leave (a stressful time) and he'd hand washed pots through our stay. so really only tiny little things, we both totally loved our stay

Review 2：I cannot express how much I loved my stay here. all totally private so there was little to know chance of seeing anyone if you didn't want to, but there was a seating area in the hotel with mini bar and tea and coffee if you wished to be social (although we never used this) blankets everywhere which was great for when it was cold on a night as well as heating throughout that thoroughly warmed everywhere up and was super easy to use. fresh towels whenever we needed them and loo roll and other bits delivered to our door if we needed them with the loveliest housekeeper who was very polite and smiley. HUGE tv great oven and dishwasher and the shower was incredible! Oh and because i can't upload photos- the view from our flat was the street BUT that's pretty normal and was no issue in anyway. the veiw however as soon as you come out of your door on to the street is singly the most beautiful, impressive and indescribable view i could ever imagine.

Review 3：Fabulous location for the main Storgata street ( which is basically on the doorstep) and also only 15 minutes from the airport. Easy to reach all places of interest on foot. Shops are within walking distance and have a good selection. Staff at the hotel were very friendly.

Review 4：Small bedrooms but not a big issue as a busy trip so didn't spend anytime in them other than to sleep.

Review 7：Absolutely amazing apartments. Furnished to really good standard. Everything you could possibly need for a weekend break or longer. Cannot fault these apartments. As an addition, I don't know where else to review this, but if you're wanting a private northern lights chase tour then use Din Taxi. Absolutely amazing.

Review 8：Poor kitchen facilities - some broken crockery, insufficient glassware for four people. Kettle and toaster did not work.

Review 10：We had the lower apartment that others have complained about here, with some noisy neighbours. We had troubles with a large group of "Elephants upstairs" who liked to party and didn't care about anyone but themselves. So sound proffing could be better.

Review 11：Lots of space with a well equiped kitchen. Extremely comfortable bed, so much so that I checked out the mattress to get one when home. Location accross from the hotel was ideal.

Review 12：Group of younger guests in neighbouring apartment were very noisy and partied quite late on 2nd night. To be fair, it was close to christams and, after a couple of interventions from us, they did quieten down so that our children could get to sleep.

Review 16：The path outside the hotel and up the hill to the apartments hadnt been cleared of snow and ice and was very slippy.

Review 18：We had to pay to park our hire car which was a bit of a shock. We had the basement apartment so we had to keep the curtains closed on a nighttime to keep our privacy.

Review 19：Very enjoyable stay. The apartment lived up to expectation, we found it comfortable, clean and well facilitated.

Review 20：The road is extremely icy up to the deluxe apartments (separate building, up a slope) - be careful as this road doesn't seem to be treated to reduce the chance of slipping. The road in front of the actual hotel was fine. The spa jets in the 3 - bedroom deluxe apartment did not work. Staff were alerted but unfortunately nothing could be done during our stay to fix it which was disappointing. From what I've read, the regular apartments/hotel rooms sound like better value for money.

Review 21：Great staff, waffles were a very nice touch. Fast wifi. Great views from deluxe apartments. Very warm deluxe apartments with really comfy beds.

Review 22：There were a few small points which are relatively minor but could easily be improved. The pillows were lumpy and we were given more pillows but these were also lumpy so should be replaced. We had two single duvets rather than a double and when we asked for this to be changed were told they did not use any double duvets in the establishment and that they didn't exist which seemed odd. Also limited hot water as the tank was only 120 litres - once we knew this we were more careful so we could both have a hot shower.

Review 23：Stayed for one week and the flat was a very nice, warm, modern and clean place to stay. Plenty of room and some very useful utilities including washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, modern TV system and a waffle maker! Only a short walk into town so convenient location. We would stay here again.

Review 30：Ok here you go...the apartment was located on the ground floor of a 2or 3 story structure. The apartment/s above us were rented by 8 or 9 young men. The stoned yelled and partied to all hours. We complained twice to Managemnet and that made it worse. After the second complaint they began harassing us intentionally. They would slam furniture and jump on the floor, our ceiling evry 15-20 minutes. They would bang on the windows and doors of our apartment at all hours of the night. So renter beware of who is in the apartment above, this property rents to partiers with no regard for the other guests

Review 43：It was compact and well designed with everything included to cater for our needs. The furnishings were clean and modern and the beds were delightfully comfortable. It was well located to all meeting points of the excursions, being just a short 10 minute leisurely walk. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were a group of six, four stayed at the apartment and there was another couple staying at the Hotel itself. The apartment allowed for us to meet and plan and reminisce after our activities and this was perfect for our needs.

Review 44：It was hard to ignore the people in the apartment upstairs, their footsteps were very loud but it was a minor inconvenience. We were disappointed there wasn't a bath but again only a small issue.

Review 45：The Apartment was very comfortable and well located. The staff at reception was very helpful and we recieved towels when we needed them. The bed was very comfy and the kitchen facilities were superb.

Review 46：One of the showers drain was a bit clogged. We indicated to the hotel, but it was not corrected. Cleaning/taking out trash not regular. All heaters are in the living room. On cold nights, either the rooms get cold or the living room gets very hot.

Review 48：1) It was disappointing to learn at check-in that I was required to leave a one night price deposit on top of what I had already paid. Noone warned me in advance about this rule. 2) When taking shower for more than two minutes water starts flowing over the base, causing a small flood in the bathroom. Honestly I have yet to see a hotel in Scandinavia which doesn't have this or a similar problem with its showers. I just got used to it.

Review 52：A great place to stay right in the centre of Tromso. The apartment was bigger than we were expecting, fitted out well and very warm. It had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. Would highly recommend it.

Review 53：This is a small criticism but the blinds were very dusty. However the rest of the apartment was very clean. The beds are very soft with only one pillow on the bed. Again this is just personal preference.

Review 54：The apartment is situated on a hill around the corner from the main hotel. It's a 5 minute walk to the centre and has a coffee shop, restaurants and bars within close proximity. The apartment was a two bedroom apt with 2 double beds, dining room, kitchen area, lounge with a pull out bed and spacious bathroom. The staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and so helpful. I could not fault them.

Review 55：The ceilings in the apartment are really sloped at the top so you are literally sleeping in the alcoves. Really annoying because we kept bumping our heads on the ceiling when coming down the stairs.

An added bonus with a washer and drying IN the apartment. We enjoyed the location, the staff, the amenities, the shower...everything. Definitely made our trip much more enjoyable.

Review 69：Tromso is a wonderful city, although not a great number of shops or restaurants opened over the festive season, we managed to have our Xmas day in our beautiful apartment , was like a home away from home. Would absolutely recommend a white Christmas in the Viking Apartment in Tromso.

Review 70：The distance to main activities is abit too far. Apparently, they have a few apartments and the one assigned to us was really far. Situated on top of a hill, it was particular dangerous to walk up and down during winter when the ground is icy and slippery. There was no telephone in the apartment. So even though the reception told us to call them if we needed anything, it was not possible. We had to walk like 20 to 30 minutes all the way to the hotel to get something.

Review 74：Hard to find anything we didn't like...Maybe the lack of view from this particular apartment but this our own fault due to our late notification of our parking requirements.

Review 75：The apartment was warm, spotlessly clean, light and bright. The modern kitchen and bathroom had every thing we needed. The lounge area was comfortable and the WiFi was excellent. With grocery shops and restaurants handy (two minutes) we were able to eat out or in as we chose. The apartment was less than two minutes walk to the CBD, but in a quiet street with almost no traffic noise, particularly with the double (triple?) glazed windows closed. The apartment was also apparently insulated internally, so the early risers amongst us were able to make a coffee without disturbing the later sleepers. We didn't realise many Norwegian cities have on-street parking restrictions for visitors so when we booked we didn't indicate we needed parking. The original apartment didn't have parking available. When the staff discovered the problem we were immediately switched to another apartment with off-street parking with absolutely no fuss and a smile.

Review 82：From the booking website I was led to believe we would be getting a larger apartment with a dining area and utility room - our 2-room apartment was smaller than the one shown on the website. I don't like ceramic hobbs on cookers - they take a while to heat up and don't cool down immediately, but they are easy to wipe clean. The kettle lid would not close when hot. The bedroom blinds did not darken the room enough for sleep (in July).

Review 83：Clean and well decorated rooms, very comfortable; good seating and excellent TV, DVD player and HiFi included. The shower is a good size and the rooms were always warm (we had to open the windows to cool down). The galley kitchen is well equipped with oven, cooker, microwave, kettle, fridge/freezer, pans, etc. The bedrooms are big enough to hold a double bed and small wardrobe but not much more. The street location is quiet and not too much noise on a Friday/Saturday night (end of July) - very close to a small supermarket for food and the main bus street. The windows are well insulated. All-in-all we would be happy to have these rooms on another visit.

Review 84：It was very hard to sleep as the sun never goes down in summer and there were no curtains. There were some bent old Venetian blinds, but as the sun blasted in the room at 2am, they were little help. Blackout curtains or blinds are required for summer. It was also very noisy with road works. The worst sleep I had for ages!
