Reviews for Fletcher Landhotel Bosrijk Roermond
Review 1:It is in the middle of nowhere, the bathroom fittings are close to fall down, the staff scarcity is worrisome. They are good, but at points you may face difficulty as the waiting time is more. The breakfast options are very limited, as well as the food is always not so good.
Review 2:The surrounding is good, in fact rustic, and you may enjoy it if travelling for liesure.
Review 3:Dated (room not updated since the 80's), no air conditioning, had the windows open, but smelled people smoking.
Review 4:Nice, relaxing, clean, great breakfast, great staff, beautiful surrounding, free parking
Review 5:We order a dinner without having a menu before. It was also our last opportunity to eat there, considering the kitchen was about to close. Even if the food was great and quite big, we ended up paying more than expected (high prices). check the menu before ;)
Review 6:It was a great hotel, of course the costs for maintanance might be expensive considering the size of the building, but they do their best to have all under control. They talked in german and english to us and were always nice and smiley.
Review 7:The food in general in the restaurant misses some flavour, one exception was the mustard soup ;)
Review 8:We stopped there as an access to the Roermond designer outlet and this was were pratical location to access with the car.
Review 9:the old fashion way of the family room ..... the stairs to reach that broom... dark interior....
Review 10:the same condition as the rooms on the first floor !! That's why we ask a confort room with an extra bed for our adult douhgter.
Review 11:Rooms were cold and heating could not be turned-on. Rooms very dated. Couldn't get WiFi to work properly. Water flow of shower could not be easily set; it was either too hot or too cold. No coffee maker in room

Review 43:Double bed was a bit small but it was comfortable..although I would recommend bringing your own pillows.
Review 44:The room was no better than a premier inn to be honest.
Review 45:I liked the breakfast choice here.
Review 46:Little dated in the hotel facilities but not in a negative way.
Review 47:Fantastic meal for dinner and I mean a really fantastic meal.
Review 48:Pillow
Review 49:Location

Review 51:The room is not cleaned enough, with strange smell !
Review 52:Localization near Roermond Outlet Centre
Review 53:Old and dated
Review 54:Ok staff
Review 55:walking paths quiet spoke English very pleasant morning breakfast and staff fantastic.. sample homemade items to try was nice.
Review 56:Highest tariff room booked for a quality stay.Restaurant was supposed to stay open until 9pm. IT WAS CLOSED AT 8PM due to lack of custom! Hotel was notified in advance that I was arriving between 8pm and 9pm. I ARRIVED AT 8.30PM. Room Service was supposed to be available until 11.30pm. Service was declined due to Kitchen being closed at 8pm!! Mini bar advertised in hotel guide was EMPTY - due to previous customers misusing the facility!! No other restaurants locally - so I had to walk to a local petrol station to buy crisps/biscuits for my dinner!!! Management does not appear to know how to run a 4* hotel.
Review 57:Conveniently located on German/Dutch border.
Review 58:Very disappointing. My colleague and I arrived at 8.30pm after driving from UK to be told the restaurant did not open in January as it is quiet. There was nowhere near to eat. If I had known this I would not have booked. This should have been clear on booking. I will consider whether I use booking.com again
Review 59:15€ for 15 Min later check out is not acceptable! Front Desk needs some degree of flexibility.
Review 60:The hotel is close to Roermond. Quite, comfortable, good value and good Breakfast!
Review 61:Restaurant staff - I had impression that they treat me as a kind of a potential problem not as welcomed guest who is leaving money and require a professional service especially that prices there are on rather high level. The resterant personnel definitelly needs a training to behave as four star hotel personnel. It is required to book a table every day at least a few hours ahead which makes it easier for the personnel not for the guests. In the rooms the furniture and style says somone was saving money a lot down there. In general I would not say it is a "four star hotel" - I think I would rather give them a poor three stars.
Review 62:Kitchen (food quality) is the only strong point of the hotel
Review 63:My Invoice should be in company's name but when I asked the staff she said that I need my business card as this is hotel's rule, and they cannot Invoice to my company's name unless I can provide my business card
Review 64:No double-bed (only twin beds) provided. The menu of the restaurant sounds appetizing but the reality was really deceiving.
Review 65:The room is better than expectation regarding space and furniture. Proximity to Roermond Designed Outlet by car (no public transport)
Review 66:Next to the highway, very nosy. No aircondition, very hot rooms, old and needs to be updated. Stay there only for travel through.
Review 67:Breakfast buffet all wright.
Review 68:Outside of town although carried the name roe remind, it was 10 km out.Forgot my jeans, housekeeping was not able to find it, so not sure aboutthe trustworthy ness of the personel
Review 69:The fact you pay an overnight tax not shown on your booking as a cost.
Review 70:Easy access to West Rhine Golf Club. Facilities we good and staff very friendly. Nice and straightforward in booking 5 rooms for a group of 9 golf ears
Review 71:I booked this hotel because no rooms were available in Dusseldorf. Seems to be a good and much cheaper alternative: Clean standard rooms, friendly staff, good breakfast with a wide variety. The previous negative reviews are not understandable.
Review 72:The hotel is located next to the highway. This means that all rooms onthe front of the building a very noisy. We booked the cheapest room, but this turned out be a very small room with a small bed and with a view on the highway. For a better room we had to pay an additional charge.
Review 73:The price of the hotel on Booking.com did not include all fees and taxes. Additional charges were demanded at the time of check out that almost doubled the price of the hotel.
Review 74:Poor facility and Disastrous service! The hotel can not be a 4 star. Tothe best maybe a youth hostel.--- Facility: an old country house locates in the middle of nowhere outside Roermond, facilities are old, heaters are not warm at night, doors can only be locked using keys, walls are badly sound proof, hallway is dark with the floors making noise that can be heard in the room at night..... breakfast costs 30 euro per person: awful & with little choices. --- The receptionists are rude and not even close to trying to help. I booked a double room but selected single-use, when asking for a change to two users with 1 week notice ahead, they charged me 50% extra with the most ridiculous excuse, "since the room stays the same but the adding is an extra breakfast".. the attitude is so rude and all take-it-or-leave-it. Ironically, on hotel homepage the listed room price for a double room is the exact same price as i booked in the first place, with breakfast for two and without any adding. no negotiation to cancellation we left after one night and moved to another hotel. ... after checkouts when i was walking out of the hotel in the morning, the duty manager was literally putting her butt on the reception desk with one foot stepping on the chair and talking bloody loud on her mobile.. such total ignorance to customers and ill manners, should not happen to a 4-star front desk. Fletcher Landhotel Bosrijk Roermond does not meet any standard of a 4 star. the staying was the worst experience.
Review 75:Wifi. (The badly soundproofed walls and noises at night, having freewifi was a relief to be honest)
Review 76:I arrived at 8pm, checked in, unpacked and had a beer in the lobby to unwind and prepare some work for the next day. I was looking forward to a nice meal as I had been working in Brussels and Amsterdam and had not had a chance to eat anything since breakfast. I entered the restaurant at 9pm and was told that the kitchen had closed. This is a 4-star hotel in the Netherlands, not a yurt in Mongolia! The kitchen did cook me some ham and eggs on bread which was very nice, but they could have told me the kitchen would close at 9: I was sitting outside the restaurant for half an hour having a pre-dinner drink. I made a point of checking that breakfast didn't finish at 9am. They also have a computer which doesn't allow you access to the internet, which seems pointless, but I wrote about that last time. And the gravel in the car park was too loose to let me use my luggage trolley.
Review 77:It's nice to wake up in the countryside.
Review 78:I was missing a facility to boil some water for coffee or tea
Review 79:I liked the friendly look of the hotel and the near country side.Parking was never a problem, I liked the breakfast and the coolrestaurant
Review 80:The single room was tiny, with single bed and very much in need of updating, as was the bathroom. It was all clean and functional but certainly not 4 star standard!
Review 81:The location was what I wanted, right on the main road a few 100 metres from the German Border. Breakfast was very good, the staff were riendly and efficient.
Review 82:We made a reservation for 2 adults and an 1 year child, asking the hotel to have a baby coat in the room. On the web site they say very clear : Free! All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots, but when we arrive there they asked for an extra 10 euros for the baby coat. - the double bed was only 1,2m wide - the breakfast was horrible
Review 83:We would have liked to have seen tea making facilities in the room.
Review 84:The hotel was of a high standard and we enjoyed our stay. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The staff friendly and helpful and all spoke good English. The buffet breakfast was very good.
Review 85:Isolated and adjacent to motorway and petrol filling station. Dated decor and furniture. Expensive for the location and class of hotel ( I judge it only 3 star at best).
Review 86:It is convenient for business in the Roermond industry zone
Review 87:Need to drive 10 minutes into Town Centre or use public transportapprox €15.
Review 88:Relaxed enviroment staff helpful but not overbearing. Good selection atbreakfast, free parking a bonus. Despite being very close to main road(due to road improvements) each time I have been the rooms are veryquiet.Good walking just out of the back of the hotel (wetland naturereserve) and cycle tracks. Despite having to drive into Roermond Iprefer this hotel to the central locations, and if on business inGermany prefer to stay here and drive over the border 20 mins formeetings at large hq.
Review 89:The hotel has a public computer for guests, but instead of connecting you directly to the internet you have to subscribe for a small fee to a system called KPN who will send you an e-mail to confirm your subscription. But of course they will send the confirmation to your home address. But you are not at home, you are abroad in a hotel. If you were at home, you would not need to use KPN. The reason you are using KPN on a hotel computer is precisely because you are away from home and do not have access to your home e-mail address. This is patently absurd, self-defeating and an annoying waste of time for guests who would like to spend twenty minutes catching up on their e-mails.
Review 90:Comfortable, warm room. Nice restaurant with excellent food. Friendly receptionist who allowed me to use her computer for five minutes.
Review 91:There was nothing we didn't like
Review 92:Staff were very helpful and friendly. Evening meal selected from the special board was excellent
Review 93:The food was poor, and I got the wrong starter.
Review 94:Bathroom not clean. And the Terrasse table and chairs very Dirty.
Review 95:Characterless Motel
Review 96:Food was very good
Review 97:Vergane glorie
Review 98:No AC in the room Facility need a bit of a revamp/refreshment
Review 99:Breakfast was good
Review 100:Does not deserve 4 stars, Poor in cleanness, Too expensive for such a hotel
Review 101:Nice and helpful staff
Review 102:completely outdated and obsolete.
Review 103:Bar : lack of choice Restaurant : poor choice and not very tasteful Hotel : 4-stars unworthy
Review 104:Apart from the location not much
Review 105:Location was a bit out of town. Meal with the wine was expensive
Review 106:Everything was pleasant, the meal was very good.
Review 107:Facilities are a bit dated, but that is reflected in the price. Room was rather small.
Review 108:Easy to find, good location close to the motorway.
Review 109:Secratary
Review 110:No tea / coffee in room
Review 111:Staff
Review 112:The receptionist and resturant waitress were not very nice.
Review 113:Friendly staff,, good food , easy to find and parking.
Review 114:The location and ease of access and parking. Staff were excellent and breakfast could not be faulted.
Review 115:No AirConditioner, No Vent. system Windows to highway, small room
Review 116:Th room badly smelt of smoke
Review 117:Tired looking room dates back to 60's - even the radio in room!
Review 118:Chose because of transit location - close to motorway. Functionalchoice.
Review 119:Hard to locate without sat nav
Review 120:Excellent hotel good facilities -helpful staff
Review 121:Cold water in the bath, the toilet was running. Quality of the breakfast below average.
Review 122:Easy to find, quiet rooms, good bed
