Review 2：Excellent all. All staff were very friendly and kind for us. I stayed 2 bedroom villa with private pool, which has enough space to be relax and its cleanliness was perfect. I had room service and restaurant inside of hotel, both taste also was so nice. This hotel is located at a little bit far from main street and other hotels, that makes me be relax well. Also can get the Bang Tao beach 5 minutes by free shuttle service. It has the exact value for money.

Review 5：It's far from Patong and hard to get a tuk-tuk near the hotel. 800baht one way for a taxi into town(when we went basically everyday) is too much so we got the number off a tuk-tuk driver and called him when we wanted to go, worked out 300baht cheaper each way!

Review 11：The only thing negative I'd say about the resort is the amount they charge for transportation. They are more than happy to book taxis for you but charge them to the room and pay the driver themselves meaning that you end up paying alot more than you should be for Thailand. I'd recommend booking your own if staying here.

Dont miss the red room restaurant.Our room had full kitchen as well. Master bathroom had big bath tub. Everything was awesome. In Thursday evening, there was some local market (one day market) thats just 150 yards away from hotel. It was good too. We will definitely coming to the residence again :)

Review 17：The villa we stayed in was apparently taken over by the resort recently , for rental. It lacked a lot of basic things in the kitchen and did not have any dining table/chairs at rooftop where you can BBQ. If they get that rectified would stay there again . Don't order room service or eat at the resort's Red Room Restaurant , pretty poor quality.

Review 18：Location is good . Can walk to Bang Tao Beach . Near to Surin beach / shops as well. Night market on monday and thursdays is only 5 mins walk away and def worth a visit.

Review 20：Bed was a little too hard for my liking and the AC was noisy so we turned it off in the bedroom and left the door to the living room open with that AC on. Only 1 fork as well, compared to 10 knives.

Review 27：We stayed in a two bedroom private pool villa.The Staff were very courteous; special mention to Ms Orapan (Hope I did not get the name wrong) and the driver Nutty-always happy & on the go. Nutty was at the airport to pick us; the first thing we noticed was his enthusiasm and big welcome smile. The serenity of the place is awesome, if you are looking for a quiet place to stay. The walls around the villa are so high that privacy is perfect. The Spa experience was great. House Keeping was good. The Wifi was bit of a problem at first but, they immediately send staff to solve it. The Restaurant food was great, although the spread was limited for the buffet breakfast. We ordered room service twice and the food was delicious. The Pool is big and very clean. The rooms are spacious. It is lovely to wake up to the chirping of birds amidst the calm and peace of the surroundings. The place is quite far from Phuket town but you can always use the hotel Car for transportation( rate is bit high). We thoroughly enjoyed the stay!!

Staff at the hotel was very friendly and was always willing to help you. We have stayed at three bedroom villa with private pool, villa was clean and comfortable and was equipped with everything we needed! Private pool was best place to chill after long trips at phuket :-) Location for us was perfect, just 5 min away on a free shuttle to bang tao beach bliss beach club.( awesome place to go for a lunch or dinner). Beach side was clean and had sun beds. Definitely recommend this hotel for anyone who wants to have good vocation! SPA is a must at the resort!!!!

Review 31：The beds were the most uncomfortable beds I've ever slept in!! I didn't like the fact you had to ask to have your bedding or towels changed, I believe this should automatically be done. The smell of sewage that runs through the villa was awful however when mentioned to staff, they put the oil burners on!! After saying all of this, I would still return as it's a beautiful place but in a different villa !!

Review 61：Nothing much to dislike, but a couple of small details in the villas would help improve things ... such as ... a small clothesline for drying items, a shelf in the shower for soap, shampoo etc, and more hooks for hanging clothes in the bathroom. A handrail to help "oldies" like us in and out of the pool, and maybe an extension of the shuttle services.

Review 63：Althoug we think we got one of the oldest house down in the village, the summerbeds was old and there were no equipments to cook a dinner with in the kitchen (we were there for 12 overnights). The restaurant had a lot of drinks on the menucard, but they had not bought enough home, so they could not make these drinks. And they also ran out of som menu´s at the menucard. Prices were high. Not many variations in the breakfast choices. Gym: The Trademill was half broken, they should fix that.

Review 64：Nice House, we liked the quitness around the village. Nearby was a market and lotus supermarket, close til many things. The people in the red restaurant was very nice. Good coffee at the restaurant. Good driverservice around the village we lived at the house farest away from everything (500 metres) and had to kids both 3,5 and 5 and they drove us home every night. Takeaway food was delivered on the table in your house.

Review 76：Location is a bit of a problem if you still want to get around however I would recommend renting a car or bike and doing your own arrangements as taxis and tuk tuks in and around Phuket are now a joke - day light robbery (THB600 to THB1000 each way to most places) - there are very few, if any, (we did see one in the 5 days we were around Phuket itself) metered taxis anywhere on the island! F&B - options very limited and breakfast really needs a lot more work from the management considering the price you pay for the room and our breakfast was not included - what was offered was no more than a poor quality bed n breakfast.

Review 77：Villas are great. Very private and secure / safe. Highly recommended for families or groups. Private pool, roof top BBQ and patio area, well kept gardens, built in sound systems throughout the villa, great bathrooms. The villas are self contained with a full kitchen so catering for yourself is a great option (resort F&B is not great). This makes for a great "hub" if you are planning a 4 or 5 night stay to travel around Phuket Island - as long as you arrange your own transportation.

Review 97："Boasting a private saltwater pool and ample lounge areas, providesstunning views of landscaped grounds and Bang Tao's farmland" was thedescription of both Booking.com and The Residence itself when referringto our one bedroom villa. The description though was everything butcorrect: the private "saltwater" pool was indeed small, kind of a puddleso overflown with something like bleach that it smell and feel was thatof a floor freshly cleaned.But the worst thing was that the "stunning views" were but a piece of the sky and some palm leaves -the upper part of the palms, that´s it. We could not enjoy that beautiful landscape at all. It is different if you rent a 2+ bedroom villa, because you have the rooftop and you can indeed enjoy some nice views. But as I´ve said, both the description of The Residence and that of Booking were misleading, and we can´t be happy with that. Tried to discuss about it with the staff, the only thing I got is "the description is not updated (?)", and that they were going to speak with the manager, but nothing happened at the end, and I was there to enjoy, not to fight with unprofessional people. Apart from that, the staff´s (always kind and smiling, nevertheless) lack of coordination and inefficiency, some noisy neighbours and or/ bad materials in the wall in terms of noise cancellation, the ridiculous prices of the transport to nearby areas, complete an experience that can´t be recommended at all.

Review 121：Our villa was in the newer part of the resort where some facilities werebeing built. So there was some building works and noise. However, thisdid not affect the overall experience of our stay, which was wonderful.
