Review 3：- The female receptionist seemed rude however perhaps this was a language problem. Given that her English and understanding was limited, the hotel should never allow such a staff at the front desk. - What was strange is toilet paper are not suppose to be flushed in the toilet, used paper were suppose to be disposed in the dustbin which seems very unhygienic. - Food at the Olive tree restaurant was very average and service not attentive considering I was the only customer in the restaurant.

Review 6：Well, naturally the hotel (being part of the biggest and best marina around) is mainly booked by yacht-owners and those guys seem to have a somehow arrogant view on the rest of the world. With having mostly the super-rich as guest comes at least a 30% price-add on everything, starting by the rooms themselves to the costs of 10€ for a small beer at the bar.

Review 7：In a nutshell: awesome hotel! Rooms: nice size, spotless clean, balcony even in standard rooms (I still smoke every now and then), applications very un-turkish and in exceptionally good condition, beds perfect and the linens to be copied at home, baby bed the same we have at home and with fresh covers every day. Staff: Good english, perfectly trained, very caring, personally interested to make the stay great Food: Breakfast flat perfect from every point of view. From 7-11 o'clock, great coffee, fresh, vast amounts and varieties. Close-by restaurant pricy but best japanese-couisin in turkey so far. Restaurants in town sadly (but of course naturally) totally adapted to serving tourist. Good quality of food, very reasonable pricing for awesomely fresh seafood. Freetime: Tons of stuff to do, personally recommend a "Blue Journey" meaning a private boat to take you around the lagoons that can not be reached any other way. The water is very salty and clear enough to see at least 20 m deep. Great area to go snorkling. Would recommend to take a private boat for two nights and add tour at the end of the stay.

Review 21：Facility is only a half an hour away from the airport, so in an hour time you can be on the beach resting. It is next to the Gocek town and not totally isolated, you can go out if you need anything, even for a dinner. Having said that they two great restaurants; Breeze by the sea, and Q Lounge, a posh Japanese one. Both are great. Staff and the service is excellent, people are simply racing to keep you comfortable.

Review 35：The only thing we didn't like about the hotel was the food from roomservice; it was expensive yet tasted very mediocre and arrived rathercold. Also, bottled water was obscenely expensive at the beach. It wasserved in a giant ice bucket but still, one gets very thirsty whilesunbathing. Pricewise, drinking tea or cocktails made more sense.

Review 36：We chose D-Resort for our honeymoon. The moment we arrived theywelcomed us with cold towels and lemonades. Prior to our arrival I hadsent them a note informing them that we are a honeymoon couple. I'mglad I did because a bottle of wine, fruit and a delicious cake weresent to our room! The staff were always kind, friendly and eager tohelp, very professional but they also made us feel like they caredabout us in a personal manner. They were perhaps the best hotel staff Iever came across.We stayed in a standard double room. First of all, it was superbly clean. Spotless. It was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The bedding was unique and I loved the natural texture. The was a Samsung flatscreen TV, which means if you bring our own movies in a USB drive, you can just insert it (you do need small hands for that) and watch them instead of the limited TV channels. The bathroom and shower faucets were gorgeous (I'm a product designer so I notice and care about details like these). A small flaw was that each time we used the walk in shower, the bathroom floor got very wet. It could be easily fixed if they just applied a rubber piece on the bottom of the glass shower door. The toiletries and amenities provided in the room are of good quality, the hairdryer is quite sufficient. Our room didn't have a view and only a tiny french balcony, we would have loved a balcony like the pricier rooms. We received two complimentary bottles of water each day. The minibar was expensive as usual, but we were able to use it as a tiny fridge and keep our own fruit and drinks. I'm glad it wasn't one of those automatic minibars that charge you if you so much as touch something.The breakfast consisted of many tasty options such cheese, bread, fruit, omelettes, pancakes, Belgian waffles; all excellent quality. We stayed for 6 nights and did wish that they had more dessert options and changed it up a bit now and then, especially the warm dishes and the cereals.

Review 39：This was a great experience and the staff and how they managed the hotel made the difference (In addition to Gocek's beautiful setting and feel). Even smallest detail was thought off. The staff starting from our arrival at the door until the send off at the end were excellent. We were actually booked at another resort at the end of our 3 night stay and we decided that we sacrifice the money we paid for the other resort and come back to D-Resort Gocek for our final day of our holiday. Next year we would like to start from where we left. It was truly a wonderful experience and we already started convincing friends and family. Please do not change and hope to see you next year! Review 94：It's not so much a complaint, but a clarification: the private beach is not actually next to the hotel, it's about a 15 minute walk. The staff will gladly take you on a cart. It is the only beach in Gocek, and I have to say it's absolutely stunning, but it's good to be clear about it. The resort restaurant is priced high, as these kinds of things tend to be, but there are many wonderful restaurants in Gocek (I loved "Can Restaurant" which is very reasonably priced). Still, if you can deal with above, the beach alone is totally worth going for.

Would have chosen attic room if the had been better portrayed in web site - think the web site doesn't tell enough of the good things about the hotel - there could be better visual content; it' s a bit too stylized, doesn't really show the environs of the hotel. It is difficult to decide one room from another, their position, view from window etc.

Review 107：D-Marin is perfectly located in the marina village of Gocek. The main hotel buildings and pool are in the village. A short walk or buggy ride takes you along the marina and through landscaped gardens to the hotel's private (man made) beach and restaurant. The entire development (to be completed this winter as no construction is allowed in Gocek during the season) is beautifully laid out and presented.

Review 108：Everything was wonderful. The people working for D-Marin were very friendly and helpful. There were small open cars to transport the visitors to some surrounding places which were driven by the hotel staff. You may also borrow cycles from the hotel, free of charge. The transportation was very easy from Dalaman Airport. The location of the hotel is very convenient. Gocek Marina, the pretty village center and the beachside are very close.

Review 111：The beach location may be an issue for some, but this is true for any hotel in Gocek. The hotel has the only beach which was nice and quiet. Do not expect crystal clear waters anywhere around Gocek due to the proximity to the marina however.

Review 112：The hotel is right in town but a bit away from hustle and bustle. This makes the location quiet. The attic room I stayed in was bigger than the rooms downstairs that had a balcony and it was very quiet. In the mornings, there was no one at the pool, despite being at the hotel during the high season, so it felt like my private backyard. In the afternoons, the pool got busy but you spend the time at the beach or on the boat anyway. The hotel has a nice beach and a very good restaurant right on the water. Since the beach is away from the town, you can take the hotel shuttle or walk (which I preferred and did not find it an inconvenience as the walkway is very pleasant through a great view of the marina along the water). It has the only beach in town. Otherwise you need to rent a boat. The hotel can arrange you a private boat for excursions if you do not want to share a packaged tour of the islands, which we preferred. The staff was very friendly, the breakfast had abundance of choices for everyone (including dieters) where there were more variety than the Marmara hotel in Bodrum.

Review 113：Hotel is designed to service sailors for short period going at sea orcoming from it. It is not really fit for a family holiday or longerstays. The first room we were was invaded with insects especially withants. When we ask to change it the staff admitted that their hotel hassuch a problem. Looking at the pictures you may have the idea of hotelbeing by the beach however it is not. The beach is inside the marine abt1 km away yet Hotel does very nice job to take u to the beach and back.It is a nice beach however very pricy. At times, the water is not cleanand sand is not very good.
