Review 1：Excellent service is a great fit for this small hotel in one of the nicest town locations you can get in the Netherlands.enjoy a few days in Deventer and it's great surroundings and this will be a true home away from home.

Review 2：Very friendly staff. Because the number of rooms is limited, they actually have time for you, and they are always around. The 19th century building has been completely restored. The rooms are very comfortable. The breakfast is fresh, with home-smoked salmon.

Review 3：We arrived very late( after midnight!) and yet we were greeted by a very friendly, welcoming Timon. We felt like we'd found a little gem. Our stay was sadly very brief, but we intend to go back again for longer.

Review 8：One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The service was five star. Very kindly received and we got a double upgrade to a beautiful room in the front of the house. Our bagage was carried to our room and we received an explanation of the design and use of the room. Breakfast was served at the table in a beautiful sunroom. I highly recommend this hotel.

Review 9：Cleanliness and the kitchen reception and everything alongwith the phone were not even attented before 7.00 AM. I had to personally go downstairs to find all this.

Review 11：The level of the room was called Grand de luxe, which raises a certain expectation concerning the room. My expectations were not met: the two chairs could only be next to each other, not facing the tv screen, which was partly hung in front of the mirror. Too much furniture in too little space for which the term Grand is really overdone.

Review 12：The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant was excellent. Breakfast was great and it was served, which I really like. Decoration of the room was of high quality: beautiful fabrics and other material. Very good beds: firm, though not hard. Well equipped bathroom.

Review 13：No air-conditioning, although I think the rooms are of good temperature most days of the year, we were unlucky to be there at an exceptionally hot day. Opening window was not really a good option, because the bells of the church next door were very loud.

Review 19：The quality of the furniture and the decoration was outstanding. Antique but very well looked after and refurbished. The room as very spacious. The wifi was excellent, very fast. Service was good and the location is perfect for visiting Deventer, which is a very pretty town, to my surprise.

Review 23：Absolutely outstanding... could not fault anything -the staff (all of them) were extremely friendly, polite and helpful - fantastic customer service, the rooms are beautiful and unique - the history interesting and the refurbishment of the hotel wonderful. Breakfast was also delicious - we did not have dinner but it looked like a lovely menu. We were there for a special occasion - it was a treat - worth every penny, wouldn't hesitate to stay again! :o)
