Reviews for Le Chant Des Palmiers
Review 1:This place was totally amazing. Really nice staff. Lovely food. But what really stood our was the quality of the room. It was big and beautiful and comfortable. Highly recommended
Review 2:Staff were so nice and helpful, especially when our bike broke down! The soup was the best soup we've ever had and the location was so peaceful! Thanks for having us, Joe and Beth
Review 3:Despite our late arrival (in the rain) our host was very welcoming and caring for our well-being! The area was beautifully idyllic, we slept in an authentic tent and enjoyed a nice breakfast. It was a very nice experience!
Review 4:However good the pics on Booking.com look, the reality is better. Where to start? you can even swim in that fountain! Evening meal (not included in basic price) wherever you would like it served in the various locations in the beautiful grounds. Just outside Agdz in the palmerie, but within walking distance of the centre. Very friendly, helpful staff. Heartily recommended.
Review 5:Hotel (Kasbah), beautifully situated in a palm grove. Ideal for a short break while visiting Morocco. Nothing but the sound of birds singing and dactyl palms. Friendly staff, only French-speaking, but it is quite does not interfere with communication.
Review 6:The location in the palms is idyllic. The staff are attentive and courteous. The food is excellent. The surroundings are lovely to walk in. You are not in town so a vehicle is preferable. the rooms are cute and comfortable. The common areas are well decorated and comfortable. Many great books to look at and read. Full of atmosphere. Charming and comfortable countryside location.
Review 7:Food was a bit pricey.
Review 8:Located within a beautiful Oasis, this family run business was second to none. Beautiful gardens with views of the mountains behind.
Review 9:It wasn't any problem for us, but just so you know: the location is a little bit off-road, there is no electricity in the room except 1 light + no wi-fi.
Review 10:Very friendly hostess, beautiful authentic bungalows with good beds, warm showers and clean toilets outside the bungalows, sun-terrace with beds, small kittens, very tastfull decoration... a small piece of paradise
Review 11:We woke up with insect bites, probably bed bugs
Review 12:Very nice atmosphere, nice Berber tents
Review 13:Amazing location. Berber tents are great for a cheap night's accommodation. Very looked after. Good food.
Review 14:perfect location in the middle of the palmerie tranquil good staff that are welcoming and easy to talk to
Review 15:Heating not efficient at night in January
Review 16:Great hospitality. Great staff. Perfect food. Beautifully decorated villas.
Review 17:Lovely place and good food but we feel overpriced for what it is, especially for the food
Review 18:lovely location in the palm oasis
Review 19:Nothing
Review 20:-Excellent and helpfull staff and owner - nice and quiet place
Review 21:Lovely location away from the centre of town. Miriam was a great host. Amazing to have built this from scratch.
Review 22:uncofortable, difficult to find, personal was cooperating well
Review 23:cheap
Review 24:You should be aware that this is the place where people come to be as close to nature as possible, not to watch TV (there is none) or swim in a pool (to me this is really an advantage). Electricity is only available after dark, showers are hot-tempered; batteries can only be charged in the dining room.
Review 25:Location in the middle of an oasis. Greenery and flowers, large terrace. The owner is happy to advice on what to do and see in the area. Peaceful and quiet setting (no TV); there's a place to have a party at a bonfire away from the living area.
Review 26:Nothing really - it's basic, but that's part of the charm, and everything you need is provided.
Review 27:If you're looking for something a bit different from the usual hotel or riad then this is worth a try. The location in the palmeries is wonderfully tranquil, and although our hut was basic it had everything we needed and the shared facilities were close by. It became especially wonderful after sundown and the only light came from the supplied oil lamps - almost magical! The manager and staff were extremely helpful and friendly.
Review 28:Nothing!
Review 29:The owner was delightful, most pleasant and very helpful. We had a problem with banking and she solved our problem! Her set-up on the outskirts of town is beautiful - an oasis of peace and calm. Highly recommended!
Review 30:Food was rather expensive
Review 31:This is a fantastic oasis in the middle of an oasis. Easy to find - large signs. Beautiful room on two levels with a roof terrace overlooking the palm trees and mountains. Lovely pools and rills of clear water and really interesting sitting room - more like a little museum - with a splendid little roof terrace. The French owner suggested we drive down to the river and along the palm grove to a huge kasbah just to the west - this was an excellent detour. Lovely area, amazing mountain scenery and kasbahs to discover.
Review 32:This was by far the best place we stayed during our trip to Marocco. The location is perfect to get by car, hidden under the palms, you feel like in a fairy tale. Welcome tea, great service, helpful stuff with smiles. Best place ever.
Review 33:Pretty inadequate price for dinner - we actually didn't ask how much will it be, but the price, almost twice exceeding the price for the bungallow in this part of Morocco, really did surprise. Also, not so easy to find - the hotel itself, and the staff in the hotel area, when you need them, as well. Problems with hot water, however that's pretty much part of the cave-man experience
Review 34:Pretty authentic experience to stay in some Flintstones cave in palmeria in the middle of half-dead mountains. The feeling is surreal at its best. However, you should realize in advance, that it is a realy authentic experience - no lights in your room, no doors, no windows, no heating, no room service (ok, that one's possible)
Review 35:Only having time to stay one night.
Review 36:Beautiful calm and peaceful oasis amongst the palms. Could have stayed much longer
Review 37:We followed the signs three times from Agdz and simply could not find the place. So we ended up staying somewhere else.
