Reviews for Goat Square Cottages
Review 1:Woukd recommend to update the tv. 4 DVDs had been forced into the dvd player and were stuck which i removed with difficulty myself
Review 2:Loved the old cottage
Review 3:Gorgeous old cottage. Very spacious, clean and comfortable. Loved the bacon, eggs, bread, tomatoes being left for us so we could cook breakfast when we wanted it. Porridge was there too.
Review 4:There were a few wispy cobwebs floating on the ceiling above the bed
Review 5:It is a cute little cottage...low doorways...a real insight to how life was a long time ago. There is underfloor heating in the kitchen & bathroom!!
Review 6:Had a couple free plunger but not enough coffee supplied to make a single cup. Vegemite empty.
Review 7:Pot belly fire. Original features. Mod cons. Comfy beds. Distance to town.
Review 8:Breakfast - info about dietary requirements had not been passed on, ordinary produce (packaged cheese, white loaf). With so much stunning local produce, might have been nicer to source locally & fresher?
Review 9:Great location, cosy. Peaceful.
Review 10:We had no dislikes at all
Review 11:We could not fault our cottage, it was excellent in every way. The provision of goodies in the kitchen was great, as was the rest of the equipoment and staples.
Review 12:Only just enough kindling supplied for one fire over our three nights accommodation (not a big deal but not sure where to get more so we didn't). The TV could be located in a better position than half obscured behind the bedroom door.
Review 13:Very comfortable King Size bed Well stocked pantry Fanastic shower surprisingly huge spa beautiful grounds excellent location
Review 14:No problem for us as a family but maybe for 2 couples sharing, the location of the bathroom and associated privacy/ noise issues could be uncomfortable.
Review 15:Location, comfort, generous breakfast provisions, heated floor in the kitchen and bathroom
Review 16:Location, facilities, amenities and complimentary wine and chocolate. Recommend 1918 Restaurant(which is in walking distance and BYO) for dinner. Wasn't an issue when we requested early checkin at accommodation. Owner very friendly. Would definitely stay there again!!
Review 17:No undercover parking. Stay spoiled by gas company laying new pipes in street outside our window. Noisy on 2 mornings. No warning of disruption given to us by property managers before we arrived.
Review 18:Ambience. Close to cafés .
Review 19:Nothing negative to report
Review 20:A tastefully renovated in-period large one bedroom cottage with spacious bedroom containing a two seater couch, well equipped galley style kitchen with dining table, and bathroom with a great two person spa/shower. Cottage was very clean and everything worked. Very fresh and large quantities of breakfast food is provided and complimentary bottle of their own labelled wine and a canter of port.
Review 21:The toilet in the bathroom made it difficult with 4 of us in the cottage. It would be good if there was an outside toilet near the BBQ area. There were cobwebs all around the ceiling inside of the cottage so a thorough sweeping of the walls/roof would be good. The kitchen and bathroom was clean.
Review 22:Location, great breakfast provisions, lovely garden
Review 23:Lack of adequate hanging space for dressy clothes (came for a wedding). Lack of a full-length mirror. Our stay co-incided with furniture removal trucks directly opposite, and lots of through traffic, so very noisy for 3 days while trying to rest. Alarm clock next door went off loudly at 5am first day, not too impressed.
Review 24:Easy walking distance to restaurants and shops. Complimentary bottle of wine a good idea, but it was outside in full sun for a whole day before we found it!
Review 25:The cooler only reached the bedroom, other rooms were way too hot.
Review 26:We loved this place, DVDs, breakfast, books, nice and good bed, everything was provided for. Even a bottle of wine!
Review 27:Loved the style of the cottage, all the modern conveniences were provided, king size bed was divine and the location was central to the Barossa and within walking distance to the main street in Tanunda.
Review 28:The bed was too close to the road, had a good sleep but rubbish truck didn't help.
Review 29:It was the perfect size for what we needed it for. It had everything we needed. The spa bath was fantastic. Good location, walking distance to main street.
Review 30:The low doorway from lounge into kitchen - anyone over 5'6'' needs to duck. The parking is a bit random, but all guests worked out the best place for their cars. If angled parking was arranged it would allay any chance of a reversing bump.
Review 31:Bed & Breakfast it certainly is - we loved the breakfast supplies, plus fresh bread, and wine! A king size bed in a large bedroom with spacious bathroom were great. The surprise was the under floor heating in the kitchen and bathroom, on the second night (5°C ) we didn't even need to turn on the air con or light the fire, it was that good. The outside sensor lights were great for a secure feeling when arriving back after dark.
Review 32:Underfloor heating was non existent even though advertised
Review 33:. Bed ( oh so warm...even without the electric blanket ) . Setting ( lovely set of cottages in nice surrounds....even if weather was wintry )
Review 34:Location was excellent. Spacious, comfortable, quaint & clean. Loved the breakfast provisions. Highly Recommended!

Review 54:Great quality.
Review 55:Food supplies, very comfortable bed, spa bath, fire. Wine and port was a lovely extra touch. couldn't fault anything
Review 56:Potential problems with parking, and maybe could be quite cold, but the under floor heating seemed not to be working. But that wasn't a problem during our stay
Review 57:Exceptional staff and comfortable accommodation. Perfect for our purpose. And the breakfast provided was perfect for our needs. Would highly recommend.
Review 58:Dual access en-suite bathroom with one of the bedrooms which had to be shared by 2nd bedroom - not convenient. Kitchen did not have full facilities (no oven) & poor lighting over kitchen bench
Review 59:Cute & historic
Review 60:Nothing.
Review 61:The friendly welcome and the little homely touches make you feel welcomed and relaxed. The rooms are well equiped and the fridge well stocked with fresh produce. On our last visit we were welcomed with home made apple pie and told to help ourselves to the herbs that are grown in the garden. I really can't criticize anything about our stay and would recommend staying here to anyone.
Review 62:Disappointing breakfast supplies: Cage eggs, white rolls. Muesli was nice though. Couch very poor quality and uncomfortable which made it hard to relax.
Review 63:Bed was awesome. Cute cottage.
Review 64:The manager was great to deal with, left us alone but was accessible ifwe needed anything (which we didn't as everything was left for us).The cottage was very clean and had great facilities.
Review 65:bedroom floor a bit uneven
Review 66:clean , plenty of room , large bed, close to main street, brekky provisions were plentiful, close to wineries , very peaceful little town
Review 67:This self contained accommodation was a cute cottage with a spa and wood fire. It was spacious and well furnished, the heated floor in the kitchen and bathroom was a pleasant surprise. An excellent breakfast was supplied and the kitchen was one of the best stocked kitchen's we have had in many self catering units. Good location near, shops and food oulets and close to surrounding vineyards.
Review 68:The weather - it rained!!
Review 69:Accommodation has everything you needed fresh breaky provisions even a tin of baked beans. Lovely fire to sit near with a comlimentary port and chocolates. Very central to the town and vineyards. We will return again.
Review 70:Egg rings would be handy and a lighter for the BBQ would be a great and safe idea.
Review 71:Coziness and furnishings, very quaint and well appointed. Lovely breakfast supplies and loved the extra touch of wine and chocolates.
Review 72:The occupants of the house opposite had parties and people coming and going both night till the wee hours - noisy.
Review 73:The cottage was in a great spot, easy walk to restaurants etc.
Review 74:nothing, it was great

Review 77:Quaint, cosy and wonderfully comfortable. Had a lovely time in and around Tanunda. Excellent food options available within walking distance Excellent value for money. Would return in an instant..
Review 78:Breakfast provisions, more than one tomato would have been good, and maybe fresh mushrooms.
Review 79:The character of the restored cottages, well done. The attention to small things, e.g. spare toothpaste!
Review 80:Great location, close to town, but still very quiet felt like you were away from it all
Review 81:Cute cottage, very atmospheric, food provided was good. Would recommend.
