Review 1：The glasses in the room were not changed and the bar fridge not restocked. The sheets were not changed.

Review 2：The hotel is well situated near the peer and comfortable.

Review 3：I like everything about his hotel. This was our second visit. The hotel is delightful. The location is perfect, on the quiet side of the river with a little ferry about 50m away. Deventer is a fascinating town.

Review 21：Deventer; is a place that has hidden gems, that are noticeable to the eye, where ever you happened to look. Even though at times the park is often under water when the IJssel floods. The Tower opposite, The Ship Bridge. Never to be forgotten. (A Bridge Too Far)

Review 24：I woke up several times at night because I heard water bubbling in the radiator it seemed. This was very annoying and should be fixed. I asked the reception to check out at 12 noon; the best she could do was 11:30 which was not ideal for me. This could/should have been handled more flexibly.

Review 28：The staff were professional and friendly as befitted this quality hotel. The view across the river to the town and Cathedral is splendid. The bells from the cities church's tunefully welcomed each hour. We had driven from Lubeck and were on route to Calais. The Sandton IJsselhotel provided a romantic evening with great food washed down by fine wine. What more can be asked?

Review 29：The wash basins were a terrible design. No tea and coffee making facilities in the room. The air conditioning went off overnight and had not come on again before we had to leave in the morning.

Review 48：Because of its over the top design, the bathroom's wash basin is very impractical. The basin looks more like the paper entry of a printer, it allows practically no water and there is no plug if you need to keep water for shaving. A minus point for a 4 star hotel is also the absence, as far as we remember, of bathroom amenities for personal use, other than 2 half full dispensers which are used by all guests. The standard room is a bit overpriced compared to other 4 star hotels in Cologne and Antwerp that we had in week 44 of 2013.

Service is hit or miss and lacks consistency. The staff was very niceand I loved the computer in the lobby. The location was just a few feet(meters) from the ferry to take you across the river into town. Thedining room and lounge on the river were quite nice, so I would staythere again.
