Review 1：The location is not very convenient to visit the historic centre. The building appearence is gross and the internal finishing is unrefined and totally unacceptable for a 4stars.

Review 5：On line your blurb said 'individually controlled air con' . This is NOT TRUE. The hotel controls the air con. When we complained it was too hot we were told to open the window even though it was raining!!!! Neither of us liked our meal in the adjoining restaurant. My husband's RED veal couldn't be veal. One had to pay extra to swim.

Review 8：Walk across the street to the bus stop. Urbino is hell to park in but the bus takes you, for€1.25, right to the center of the action in 15 minutes. Great breakfast, comfortable rooms, and a really great restaurant just down the hall.

Review 9：Unfortunately I found the hotel, corridors, lobby and rooms had a sewerage smell. We kept our room window open all the time. The weather being bad, I we would have liked to use the spa BUT €25 per person for 2 hours was excessive.

Review 10：The room we were allocated was terrible, dark and dim, after changing (at extra cost) we had a lovely light large airy room. The hotel has an excellent restaurant attached which we used during our stay as it was bad weather and there is nothing close by.

Review 16：The wellness space is not free of charge and this is not at all clear when you stay at the hotel. My children took a swim in the nice indoor swimming pool but afterwards we had to pay €25 for the use of the spa centre. When we said that this was not clear and that we would not have done it had we known, the hotel staff were friendly enough and we did not have to pay.

Review 63：The hotel's location is not great and not easy to find. Breakfastwas ok in terms of choices and quality of food, but not worth eur12.5Which not included in the price of the room. The fact that the hotel hada pool influenced our choice to stay at the hotel, but then we found outlater that they charge eur25 to use the spa facilities. Overall, thisplace is far overpriced and had no character at all.

Review 64：We had to ask for the code for the WIFI and then we could not connect while in our room. They did offer another room but by then we were unpacked and settled.

Review 65：The staff were very kind and helpful. The view of the valley and country side from our room was beautiful. The breakfast was very good with lot of selection and the chef was present to ensure we had everything we needed. A very nice young man at the front desk arranged a Shiatsu massage that was exceptional. He also assisted in making a reservation for lunch at Antica Osteria da la Stella in Urbino where we had an very good meal. If in the Urbino area again we would stay at Hotel Mamiani.

Review 66：Sterile, sad entry hall (fine, you don't sleep there), distance from Urbino, the free wifi was a bit feisty and did not allow for Personal Hotspot. The 8.5 very good rating perhaps a bit exaggerated.

Review 72：The Staff at Hotel Mamiani is fantastic! They will help you arrange any activity that you would like to do. Extremely friendly. Our rooms were very clean and the hotel is a 10 minute bus ride to the centre. WE loved our 4 night family stay! The restaurant in the hotel is excellent too.

Review 73：The location of the hotel is a significant negative. Although we had detailed Google driving maps and instructions, the road signage is totally inadequate for this complicated approach to the hotel which is well outside of the city walls. A local inhabitant kindly led us to the hotel in her own car after we had been driving around and around for some time (including through the city gates which will probably result in a fine as it is banned). Our stay here was s was near the end of over 2 weeks of driving around Umbria and Le Marche and this was the most cofusing roadway. It is definitely longer than a 20 minute walk from the hotel to the old city, about 40-45 min at a good pace. The is a nearby bus stop which will take you into the city at about 20 minute intervals although we did not use it as we went into Urbino only one day.

Review 74：This is a beautiful modern 4 star hotel. The rooms were spacious and attractive with very comfortable beds and a wonderful view of the Umbrian hills. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially the young gentleman who checked us in and the woman who served at breakfast (which was very good). We could not get the air conditioner to kick out quite enough air for complete total comfort. Maybe this was due to some lack of understanding of the controls on our part. The adjoining restaurant was excellent and we ate there all of the 3 nights that we stayed at Hotel Mamiani.

Review 75：DeLuxe room with panoramic view chosen, spacious (with 2 bathrooms!)and met expectations. Located on edge of town, avoiding parking problems of Urbino, but with direct bus route almost passing door. Excellent restaurant adjoining.
