Villa Paraiso - Adults Only offers an intimate getaway overlooking the garden and hills in Porches, a 5-minute drive from 1.2 miles from the nearest beach in Armação de Pera. It offers an outdoor swimming pool with sun loungers.
All rooms feature a colonial-style décor enhanced by exclusive author photos. Guests can prepare themselves a cup of tea, coffee and cappuccino in their own room. Each one has a private bathroom with a bath or shower, mini-bar and a flat-screen satellite TV.
A breakfast buffet is served daily and is included in the room rate. It can be served indoors or in the veranda. In addition, the restaurant next door offers good value lunch and dinner options.

Review 1：The house is on two busy roads, so you hear traffic all the time. Wifi didn't reach our room. Our room as well as the bathroom were pretty small and dark. Although it states in the description that every room offers a TV and coffee/tea facilities, there were no such things in our room, which is actually not a big deal, but then they shouldn't tout with it.
Review 2：The house and the garden are great, as is the pool. Very special and impressing interior. Breakfast couldn't be any better.
Review 3：Fantastic hosts- Roland and Conceicao. Rooms large and well kept, cleaned daily. The pool is in good condition and big enough to swim in. The location is good with lots on offer nearby. I would highly recommend.
Review 4：Road by the villa could be a little noisy at times (minor issue!). You need a car to really explore the area properly.
Review 5：Very comfortable villa with large rooms and wonderful outdoor spaces to chill out. Very complete breakfast with lovely fresh fruit. Great pool to cool off in. Very helpful and charismatic owners who were friendly - they made some lovely homemade lemonade with mint from the garden one hot afternoon for us guests! Nice background music. Nearby village of Porches was quite charming.
Review 6：Even though a nice room, no a/c was installed in the room, which resulted in quite hot temperatures to sleep in. The B&B also is located on a 'busy' road (so easy to access and close to the supermarket and a lot of beaches). However, keep in mind the noise of the cars passing by in case you would like to enjoy the pool and garden.
Review 7：Beautiful house, decorated with with amongst others very nice pictures of African wildlife and unique furniture. Also a nice garden + pool. Very friendly owners who welcomed us warmly. A lot of beautiful beaches are close by (go to Praia da Marinha!).
Review 8：Had naively assumed "adults only" Would mean peace and quiet, so a bit of a shock to find "nude sunbathing only" sign and massage offered to be tantric/nude (both parties). So not really what we were looking for! Stayed here cos review score so high but with hindsight would have opted for somewhere with better views/beach access

Review 11：A young couple runs the villa, lovely and very welcoming. Away from all the major tourist sites. Rooms are very comfortable and clean. Lovely breakfast and lounge area to chill out in the evening. Pool area is lovely too. Most importantly, there is a local restaurant which serves 3 courses plus a glass of wine for 8 euros each. Very yummy, filling and cheap.
Review 12：The only minus was that the heating in the bedroom was just a fan heater - adequate but not ideal at that time of year.
Review 13：High level facilities, decor and excellent ambience. Both owners were very friendly and helpful; they really seemed to enjoy you being there. We stayed in February when the evenings in particular are cool, so the wood burning fire in the very comfortable lounge was greatly appreciated.
Review 14：Due to the winter season the room was a bit cold. But we were provided with a heating device so it became much better.
Review 15：What a great place. Lovely house with a very personal touch with all the wildlife pictures and amazinf furnitures. The breakfast was great. Fresh orange juice. croissants and great coffee. Such a nice host couple. The location requires a car, but there are so many amazing beaches and spectacular viewpoints in the area.

Review 46：We had a really nice and relaxing time at Villa Paraiso. It was close to everything we wanted to see and visit but still quiet and romantic. Breakfast served on a beautiful terrace was delicious every single day. Cao & Roland were fantastic, they gave us a lot of tips, lots of coffee every day :), we played chess together, sat at the fire in the living room chatting about their interesting life experiences and we felt like a part of their family. We highly recommend Villa Paraiso and we would be glad to come back one day.
