Reviews for Dar Qamar
Review 1:Of note they have massive baths and not enough hot water to fill (although enough for a good long shower). Understandable as it is in the desert! But temper your expectations about that.
Review 2:Perfect after two nights in the desert. Very relaxing and good hammam experience
Review 3:Pool area charming but o closer inspection getting tired many broken tiles, breakfasts average no fresh bread in the 3 days we stayed, evenings meals poor value for money. Perhaps the chef was away as it was Ramadan ?
Review 4:Location good for the palmerie
Review 5:The credit card machine was broken which was particularly inconvenient and meant we had to go to the bank which we were told would be open, but was shut. We ended up having to send the balance of our bill by bank transfer, which was an additional cost. Not a good end to our stay. Staff tired and lethargic as it was hot and Ramadan Pool needed a good clean. Fixtures and fittings in bedrooms needed mending or replacing. The litter in the drive outside needed cleaning up as it let the property down. It was a pity that the owners weren't on site as we would have liked to have spoken to hem directly about these shortcomings
Review 6:Naima, who was in charge whilst the owners were away, did her best to make our stay pleasant. OK to stay for a night whilst travelling through, but not any longer.
Review 7:Nothing
Review 8:Beaitiful place and gardens. Friendly staff, Receptionist seems to do everything and was lovely.
Review 9:The city is ruined and there is nothing to do around the hotel (except walking in the palm place)
Review 10:We really liked the hotel and the staff was very kind
Review 11:One of us thought that it felt French rather than Moroccan. The otherhalf of the couple, feels that the French/Morocan blend was perfect.
Review 12:The atmosphere was serene. Beautiful surroundings in which to totallyrelax: the flowers and pool all added to the ambience of this superbaccommodation.
Review 13:This was another hotel we found using gps coordinates on the booking.comreservation, but Agdz isn’t too big.
Review 14:We stayed at Dar Qamar to break up a return trip to Marrakech fromMerzouga, and we wish we had more time to spend here. The hotel isappears to be down some back street, but what a place it is. Behind thewalls is a beautiful pool area and gardens with peacocks. The loungearea was comfortable and there was even some Wifi if you need it. Ourrooms were comfortable and the food was excellent. Like many French-runhotels in Morocco you can get wine.
Review 15:A couple of minor details in the room needed to be fixed (e.g. A very loose door handle).
Review 16:Nice and clean room, great pool area, nice food, personal and welcoming atmosphere.
Review 17:We only stayed one night, but we would have liked to stay for more nights since the location is so beautiful and the staff so friendly. It was fantastic to sit on the roof top terrace and watch the sun set over the desert - after a quick dip in the pool:)
Review 18:The room was just a little better than average.
Review 19:Beautiful grounds, a lovely garden, a peacock family with two baby peacocks, a swell pool with a view of ruins nearby.
Review 20:Apparently, no dinner is served at given periods of the year (July/August) and this should be communicated during the reservation as you need to take your car again to find a place to eat at Agdz and this might become an issue (choice, quality of food etc)
Review 21:The place is really amazing and beautiful while at first the surroundings and the last 1.5 km might not find your approval (see earlier comments) but this wasn't an issue for us and our stay was very peaceful. A beautiful well maintained garden is surrounding a nice pool area, the amazing patio is inviting to relax, to read, to have a drink.. During our stay the owners (French couple) were absent but the place was well run, good a friendly staff.
Review 22:Can't really think of anything
Review 23:Beautiful grounds, hot water, a pool, great food
Review 24:Great location, great staff - don't look any further if you go to Adgz!!
Review 25:hard to find the location first time after sunset

Review 27:Poor meal, half a plate of broad beans. Worst meal while travelling inMorocco yet is was the most expensive.
