Review 1：Beds are a bit on the hard side. The interior shows its age in some respects.

Review 2：In about 20 years I have now stayed four times at Turiquintas and it is always a pleasure to return. The white-washed two-level apartment blocks look attractively Portuguese and are scattered around a quiet up-market neighbourhood. For some mysterious reason the very helpful and friendly manager/owner offered a free upgrade from a studio to a full apartment, which was very much appreciated taking the already discounted price of the studio into account. The interior shows its age, although some renovations have been done; however, the bathroom and kitchen floors, for example, would need renovating too. Strong shower. The apartment is clean, equipped with simple but adequate furniture and satellite TV; the outside furniture on the big terrace need a good cleaning, however. House-keeping is daily except on Sundays. The kitchen comes with a vitroceramic cooking device (whose operation needed some explanation) and most of the other utensils one might need; but the oven has been replaced with a microwave. A good wifi connection is available in the central part of the complex where the reception, swimming pool, closed mercado, and restaurant are situated. I did not take a meal in the restaurant but I have heard some diners being appreciative. A few small but nice beaches surrounded by rocks are at a 10 minute walking distance; some step-climbing is needed though. A car is convenient to get to the large Intermarché store (it is not far away though) and the hustle and bustle of Armaçao, the nearest village with lots of restaurants, bars, ice cream and pastry parlours, and tourist shops.

Review 3：Cleanliness of the terraces was very bad, bedsheets and pillows are wasted. No information received on booking in regards to the pet fee of 20 euro per night. Supermarket within property closed, should not be on the facilities, available one out of property at close driving distance. No pet access allowed to property restaurant terrace, an take away menu should be developed.

Review 5：There wasn't anything we disliked though would note that it is a fair walk to two nearest beaches and access via steep cobbles slippery in places. The on-site shop was closed while we were there which was a slight disadvantage. Service in on-site restaurant was very slow but there are plenty of other nearby restaurants.

Review 6：The resort was pleasant and never felt over-crowded even in high holiday season. The pool area was pleasant and relaxing and nearby beaches were lovely. The accommodation was spotless and cleaned every day except Sunday.

Review 7：Booked superior villa, had confirmation of superior apartment, on arrival was placed in the standard villa. Interior of villa doesn't match the photos - very outdated, cleaning is very basic. Renovations in villa, and entire reception + pool area are desperately needed - outdated.
