Reviews for Quo Vadis Dive Resort

Review 1:We wanted to treat ourselves a bit towards the end of the trip therefore we went for what we thought was more of a high end accommodation. We dive and like good food, however below we will explain why you can get better options elsewhere for all of these. We paid each 27 € a night approximately , for a bungalow with hot water, aircon and Internet. The room was all right , moderately clean however full of ants. We asked reception for a solution as we could see how the ants keep coming in through a hole in the bathroom and they showed up armed with a toxic spray ready to use, oblivious of us being still inside the room. Stopped them at the last minute. Then they used a chalk like option around the hole, completely missing the other one. However good news is that they stopped entering the room through the hole and found another way in.We slept in the room with the ants, who eventually found their way pretty much everywhere : luggage, beds, phones, toiletries , etcMattress is fairly thin and often you will feel the bed base through it, depending on our position.Last day we woke up and the ants were everywhere on the bed included. There are also smaller insects that we shared the bed with, we weren't able to identify them. The resort has a pool - which you can " use at your own risk" as the sign next to it states. It smelled of chlorine and could not hear the filtration system working, so we decided to use the sea instead. however this didn't stop other guests to use it, which can indicate it was actually all right. No free water refill, but we did notice a water machine by the receptionist. If you are here for the diving facilities , they are significantly more expensive than then everyone else's. Your best bet is to shop around for a more suitable alternative. We found Cebu diving Centre excellent, with experienced instructors and good prices. We also heard that Blue Abyss right next to Qui Vadis is excellent.

Review 2:The size of the room was good, plenty of storage. Staff members were friendly when approached. Nice view.

Review 3:They had a very small parking lot, considering the resort is really big. Plus when we stayed there, the power went out, they had a generator running but only supplied electricity to the common areas. Plus we we're not allowed to grill our own food.

Review 4:I like the area, the whole resort is quiet and very clean. The rooms are big especially the Bungalows. The beach is amazing, good for snorkeling. One of the few pet friendly resorts!

Review 5:The shower pressure was so weak. The towels were thin and unraveling. The door was hard to open and close. They said they would fix it and in 4 days stay they never did.

Review 6:Location was great

Review 7:Rocky coast, so no beach.

Review 8:Nice staff, frequent cleaning, very pleasant trees, birds, grass, pool. Good sized rooms. Not far to drive to get to all the local attractions (hire a motorbike, relying on tricycles is no fun).

Review 9:They could have provided more info about things to see & do right in the local area

Review 10:Water was right there warm clear and inviting with good visibility. Restaurant had good selection of tasty and reasonably priced food. A good all around value for a week's stay.

Review 11:There is no sand beach.

Review 12:The staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. The view from the room's veranda (bungalow with sea view) was superb, the room and bathroom itself clean and luxurious and the pool area very nice. I'd especially like to recommend the diving at Quo Vadis -the reason we went. The house reef is lush (turtles aplenty, pigmy sea horses, electric clams, more sardines then you'll ever see, etc.), better in my opinion then pescador island, though the latter is only a short boat ride away. The dive instructor and dive masters are fabulous; dive with Kim if you get the chance.

Review 46:Quite pricy. Problems with wifi coverage. Poor breakfast. Localrestaurant is pretty much the only option nearby. Diving groups areoften to big for just a couple of dive guides. Shower is terrible.

Review 47:Beach front location with a nice view. Quiet remote area.

Review 48:Food was not tasty; Excessive 4.8% charge if paying with a credit card; Does not disclose location from the main road; Employee in the kitchen was coughing so repeatedly that I had to get up and tell her to go home because she was too sick to work

Review 49:Nice swimming pool, not too many roosters in the neighboughood

Review 50:The restaurant areas felt tired and in need of sprucing up a little.Itwasn't very inviting, so we ate out locally most evenings. Pool wasa little cloudy, minor detail, but little things can make a bigdifference!

Review 51:Location to Moalboal. Could easily stroll in to the local bars andrestaurants, so did not feel isolated. The dive centre staff werefantastic, particularly Dodo, efficient but in a very professional andrelaxed manner. Very good value for money, both accomodation and diving, particularly compared to other places in the Philippines we stayed

Review 52:Rooms are very noisy. No windows to close (just blends). So u hereeverything from outside from early in the morning. Also noise insulationbetween the rooms almost not existent. Enjoy every word from yourneighbour next door.

Review 53:Very nice small resort especially suitable for divers. Rooms are basicbut clean and offer all u need. Great and friendly staff, good food.

Review 54:Few pieces of dive equipment should be replaced (jackets andregulators ...).

Review 55:Perfect location, dive center is great, very relaxing. Nice pool.Breakfasts are ok. Prices are ok. Staff is helpful and kind. Suggestion:Stay in bungalow, rather than delux rooms. Bungalows costs the same andoffer more privacy and space.
