Review 1：Friendly staff. Peaceful,boutique hotel with sea view. Can use facilities of sister hotel Estalgem Da Ponta Do Sol. Breakfast to die for. Quaint historic village. Feels like you are a local.

Review 4：Loved everything about this hotel; the intimacy, peace and quiet, wonderful views, great location, decor, clean lines, furnishings and helpful and polite staff. As mentioned in other reviews the added bonus of being able to use the facilities of the sister hotel added to the whole experience.

Review 10：Hotel da Vila is a lovely place to stay for a cous nights. The town is quiets and relaxing. It's a great point from which to start expiring Western madeira.
Review 11：Because we liked to sleep with the window open , we heard the waves ( which is o.k.) but in the morning we were awaked by some trucks passing before the hotel ; maybe because the works in Ribiera Brava.

Facilities: the outside bar, just next to the seaside walk, and the incredible infinity pool of the sister hotel in the high cliff - Estalagem da Ponta do Sol (to which there is free access). 4. Staff: very friendly and helpful 5. Location: Ponta do Sol is a very small and typical village in the middle of the island - perfect if you have a car and want to explore a different region every day.
Review 15：Unfortunately we never felt very welcomed in the hotel. There was never a smile or a kind expression, just the minimum necessary. The breakfast is average. And the private parking available should be improved since there is only room for 3 cars.
