Asian Belgian Resort is a beachfront property offering rooms with private balconies on Moalboal's White Beach. It has a private area providing easy access to water sports like scuba diving and kayaking. Wi-Fi is free in the entire resort.

Review 1：Maybe a little expensive (but we are students so it depends on your economic situation).

Review 2：The staff was very nice and helpful. Hotel in front of the sea, very nice. They provide full equipment for snorkeling (some for free like the shoes). You can do snorkeling just in front of the hotel. The beach is less than 5min away. The restaurant is VERY GOOD!!!

Review 3：Isolated no where else nearby to eat dinner. Bland and expensive food.Not possible to exchange money. We wanted to do a fun dive but Steve (anAmerican) the diving man ignored us and never even said hello. Steveuses the bar/restaurant as his living room .Using his laptop thereand watching what he wants to see on tv whilst guests are eating dinnerand we were witness to several displays of Steve being very rude andnasty to his pregnant Filipino girlfriend whilst we were eating dinner.

Review 6：Very helpful staff. It is like the home. Excellent cuisine. Convenient beach. The location is great for families with children and for single travelers. Excellent dive instructors. Interesting dive sites.

Review 7：The rooms are not serviced unless you ask for it. I asked for fresh towels and it was given straight away, but it's the hassle of having to find the staff and ask for them each time. I gave a medium smiley face for cleanliness only because the rooms weren't serviced. I price was reasonable, but I thought for the price, there could have at least been serviced without asking, more toiletries like shower gel and shampoo and a mini bar at least. I felt it was pretty basic inclusions for the price you are paying. What you are paying for is the easy access to snorkelling and the view. Staff were friendly but often trying to charge me for things I didn't have like a diving trip (I only snorkelled), gear (I brought my own) and they offered to pick me up from town, but then I had to pay 200php for the Privelidge each way. Above all, the snorkelling is the reason to stay here and it was fantastic.

Review 8：The snorkelling is the reason to stay here and for that reason, it was perfect. Amazing snorkelling at your doorstep. Nice water views. Fantastic coral (hard and soft), loads of clown fish, damsels, sea horses, wrasse, some nudibranches, moray eel some resident turtles, a sea snake, few morish idols, butterfly fish and The occasional grouper plus some. There is an on site dive shop which usually I would but there was so much amazing reef to explore snorkelling, I didn't get round to. The schnitzel and spaghetti bolognaise were pretty good, the. Bbq chicken was ok. Didn't have breakfast as they didn't have any coffee when I was there, had run out. If staying for a few days, hire a scooter from the house on the corner, php400/ day or 1000 for 3 days. it's a 15 minute ride to duck Into town and go to the supermarket or (cough cough) do a Macca's run lol. There's cafes in town and markets but you can survive at the resort without going into town, just their meals at the resort are a little pricey, averaging php300 per meal. The rooms were simple but pretty much had what you need, a wooden bed (read squeaky) cable tv, aircon, bathroom and table and chairs. Toiletries were minimal but I'm sure we could have asked for more.

Review 10：Nice, quiet resort right on the water. Very friendly staff...and dog. Great food at the on-site restaurant. Reliable wifi. Plenty of cold beer. Great diving/snorkeling just feet away from the restaurant. 5 min walk north to the sandy White Beach. Cheap Motorbike rental at the corner house. Great for a relaxing and quiet get away. Definitely rent a motorbike for any activities away from the hotel

Review 11：The roads to get there was horrible. The money they charged per night to stay is too overpriced. You would think they would pave the road to get to their resort with their over priced resort. It wasnt clean. Dirty rooms and surroundings. Dog poops

Review 12：Very basic room, not clean, old and unmaintained construction, bad road. We literaly considered giving up the reservation and going next door to dolphin house (we tryed their spa, deserts and coctails at the bar--all amasing :) ). But we gave up the idea since we stayed only for 2 days.

Review 18：We stayed in the first bungalow room, and for the price, the conditions are pretty rustic. Rooms are not cleaned unless you ask (and even then, not always). Lots of ants in the bathroom and around the front door (make sure to put your toothbrushes in a closed case and any food you have in a ziploc bag). Standard of cleanliness around the property is not great.

Review 19：Great snorkeling right off shore, between the resort and White Beach a half-kilometer away. Beautiful healthy coral. Terrific food in the restaurant (though some of the vegetable dishes include meat, so if you're a vegetarian, ask). Lovely family atmosphere, with local kids splashing in the shallows. Quiet and laid back; a great place to while away the day (between dives or snorkels) in a lounge chair or hammock. Decent wifi in the restaurant area.

We only just paid 2000php from 2250php because we check in late around 9pm and also their give us extra time to check out around 4pm because their dont have any customer on that day. Only 15minutes walk to white beach.highly recommended and u wont regret.

Review 24：Owner has an uncontrolled temper and flared up at us(2women) when we asked for an actual bill, not an order form that waitstaff would use. Highly unprofessional place with rooms that are unclean, linens never changed, bad food, and no alternatives since the place is three hours from the city. The day trips are over priced and ill planned in cars that stink of exhaust fumes. No bookkeeping, no computerized accounting and should be removed from Booking.com The place next to it seemed very well run.

Review 46：Difficult to get to-- you can't easily access the place if you don't have a ride. If you're into more of relaxation, this isn't the place for you. The shore/beach directly in front of the resort is not for swimming, while the beach a walk from the resort is not as well (people are washing their dishes in the waters, dog poops are found randomly in the sand). While the beach may have white sand, it's not actually sand but corals. The room we stayed in did not have TV and the window was missing a panel (cool air from the airconditioner was going out of the room). There were a lot of mosquitoes in the area.

Review 47：Clear waters and quiet place; if you're a diver or loves to snorkel (which we aren't by the way) this place is definitely for you. Asian Belgian Dive Resort is a resort that best caters divers (and the like). The owners and the staff are very nice and welcoming and helpful. Free use of kayaks and pool table.

Review 48：The rooms were small and the beds uncomfortable, bathroom is constantly wet due to poor floor drainage. If you are not Belgian or a scuba diver the owner makes little effort to be friendly (I say this because their was a Belgian family staying there & they were treated like royalty!). On our last night in the resort the owner had a disgraceful, rude tantrum with one of his Filipino staff in front of us all including our young children, because of this humilating episode I will never stay there again nor reccomend this place to any traveller.

Review 49：I liked the location, the water is crystal clear with an abundance of coral reefs making it a divers/snorkellers paradise. The Filipino staff were so friendly and helpful, unforrtunately I can't say the same for the Belgian owner.

Review 50：Food Prices are a total rip off. Prices are higher than the Marco Polo Plaza Hotel, a five Star Hotel in Cebu City we stayed before this stay. The Rooms are unclean, sheets smelled bad, or to be specific the bed and pillow smelled of sweat. It was really disgusting. And I cant stop complaining about the food prices, just a total rip off!!!

A few of us were volunteering in Leyte and Monique had a car waiting for us promptly at Cebu port and welcomed us in. She's a great host and always enthusiastic. The place is warm as welcoming, really great place for relaxation (no hard partying here) which is what we wanted after a week of demo'ing homes. Def. recommend if you're looking to relax and do a few excursions (snorkeling/diving).

Review 58：Except diving, there is nothing attractive around the hotel. It is farfrom the city and bars. Also this hotel is not like a resort, it is likea basic hotel. The beds in the rooms are very uncomfortable. It is verydifficult to sit, eat and drink at the restaurant after 22.00o'clock since all personels go to their bed, and the last onedrowses. The food is expensive according to the other hotels andrestaurants.
