Review 1：Harshi treats everyone like family and does her utmost to make sure their stay is an excellent experience. Breakfast is an amazing variety of fruits and other foods.

Review 2：I showed up at approximately 4pm local time on 25 December. The guesthouse is difficult to find as there is no sign, and the manager/owner was not there. Instead there was an elderly man who did not speak english. He was unable to help me, or check me in. I repeatedly tried calling the phone number in the booking reservation for over 45 minutes, but my calls went unanswered. I could not wait any longer as I was tired from the flight, and needed to figure out my lodging situation. As a result I decided to make a last minute booking somewhere else. I did not get a chance to experience this hotel. Furthermore, a few days later the hotel owner declared me a no-show and tried to charge me a cancellation fee. From this first impressions, I was not impressed with this place.

Review 4：We stayed at Frangipani for 2 nights and it was perfect. The rooms were clean, the wifi was reliable and the guesthouse was a short and scenic train trip away from the sights in Colombo city. What made this experience truly unique however was Harshi's hospitality. I felt like I was staying with a beloved aunt. She prepared lovely meals, told us about Sri Lanka's history and customs, gave us invaluable tips to assist us with our onward journey in Sri Lanka and also shared her own life experiences with us. I highly recommend Frangipani.

Review 5：Best homestay we have stayed at. The owner Harshi is a super friendly host that will provide you everything you need and more! If you are going to Colombo you must stay here!

Review 6：Most memorable beautiful anniversary and Birthday spent with Ms. Harshini,at her amazing place Frangipani. My wife and I travelled to Colombo for our 2nd year anniversary. She made us feel so special from the time I have contacted her, to do the booking. She welcomed us with lighted candles and our room decorated with balloons. Have to say without her advice my trip would have been incomplete. Harshini guided us with the transportation and sight seeing. She owns a beautiful apartment, where everything is neat and tidy. The breakfast was yummy,loads of fresh fruits. All together we felt she was our family,took care of us so well. We will definitely plan a trip again for her hospitality and company for long talks. Cheers.

Review 7：Nothing. Those who give more emphasis on big bathrooms, may find it a little small.

Review 8：Everything. The location of the place is good. It is clean and cosy. The host Harsi is the best host I have ever came across till date. She went out of the way to help me and planned a nice road trip during my stay. Not to mention the excellent food she cooked for me.

Review 9：- rooms are clean but not superclean - the place was a bit hard to find. - There are many local bus going along Galle Street, but it takes at least 30-45 minutes from the city center.

She is a font of information and had the brilliant idea that I hire a driver for my two week stay in Sri Lanka, saving me untold hours of trip planning and frustration I would have dealt with by taking public transport. She's a gem; her home is a home away from home. Couldn't be happier!

Review 14：Like arriving HOME.The moment we arrived i knew we had chosen the right place. Harshi is truly the most wonderful woman. We miss her already! Her home is lovely, welcoming and comfortable. Her hospitality, exceptional. Location is great also, shirt walk to the train, bus, beach or small shops. A very short bus ride to major shops. Harshi is wonderful with recommendations for this of you looking for advice. The MOST wonderful stay. We are so thankful for our time at Frangipani with Harshi :)

Review 15：Harshi, the owner, was soooo nice!! We stayed for only one night but she just treat us two boys as her son! We arrive at the airport at 5am, she hired a car to take us there and prepared a very nice break fast to us. Really love the coconut milk rice. She also taught us all the things we have to aware in SL. She just like our mum and care for our future and encourage and empower us! After we leave, she even call us to make sure we are safe in Kandy. The beach view is a bit far away but still nice. She also recommended us to take train from dehiwala to Colombo, the best beach view, just like riding on a train on the sea. Best home stay ever !!

Review 16：The Wi-Fi service was somewhat lacking: as it was at all nine places we stayed in Sri Lanka, which makes me suspect that the paucity of the service is attributable to the infrastructure/companies supposed to be providing a service.

Review 18：It was a pleasant stay with her, she was so caring loving since she knew i was traveling all alone by myself she guided me where to be and where not she also gave me a map for the places i should visit and make the best of my trip. Moreover I made a weeks plan stay at her place but i planned to leave early she was really understanding and she just made me pay for the 2 nights and she set me free she was really understanding big thanks to her for a great holiday trip to this beautiful country Sri Lanka xD
