Review 1：Services and Staff were exceptional. They give us a ride wherever we want to go and whenever we want, as long as their shuttle is available. We've got a family room. It was very big and clean.

Review 7：Our first room had an ac that didn't work so they moved us into another room that had no hot water. We asked them to fix it but it was never done - we asked about 4-5 times to fix it. The restaurant food is not fantastic. Pizza was one of the worst I've ever had and the rest was pretty bland. It's also really expensive to eat or drink there.

Review 13：The complimentary breakfast didn't taste up to quality of the resort. The hotel should also provide free frequent shuttle bus service for its guests from the port to the hotel. Many first time travellers may get burned by the tricycle drivers or have trouble finding the place.

Review 14：Very remote but convenient location. An ideal place for honeymooners and families. A fantastic view of the sunset right by the beach. Security is top notch and you don't have to worry about your belongings as the hotel has a security safe in the room with plenty of security guards around the resort.

Review 15：There are crazy rules and policies given by the foreign manager according to his whim. Example a family of 14 can not sit together in breakfast, tables are forbidden to be grouped together. Food is limited, 1 plated meal per person. No breakfast buffet. Limited beach towels, they will tell you that it is still in the laundry. This hotel is not your typical 5 star, it is more like 3 stars. The upholstered furniture inside the rooms are worn out with dust mites. Racist.

Review 17：The staff is very friendly and plentiful, however, for some strange reasons one will find it is more for an show rather than impact, even when one need something basic like a towel or an umbrella. A number of rules seem to complicate one's stay - e.g. every time you come to your room and wish to use the wifi, you have to re-enter your credentials, food or drinks purchased in the hotel restaurant cannot be brought up into the room, etc. Breakfast also leaves a lot to be desired in terms of both, the selection and quality of food.

Our flight was cancelled due to the typhoon andunfortunately we couldn't get our money back for the night we lostbut if I visit Boracay again, I would definitely choose to stay atAmbassador in Paradise again.

I suggest all guests to do massage in the hotel and book the activities from the hotel.

Review 30：Services are a bit much especially the massages. i suggest that the resort cater/commission the local masseuse/s that can provide the filipino traditional massage of HILOT. I'm very discerning on massage services and what the resort was offering fails to provide both value and the support to local culture that I feel should be what the resorts in boracay should cater in order to distinguish the island from other destinations. Also, although its a bit simple, drying racks, towel/robe hooks and better bathroom furnishing would be more convenient for guests to move around and organize. A scheduled turn down service would have been great as well. Just to make sure that the beds/floor are clean right before you turn in for the night.

Review 31：Facilties and rooms were great! Every accomodation was provided and the staff are very courteous and helpful. Location is perfect! Whenever you stay in boracay, its good to have the beachfront in station 1 where the crowds are thin, the beach is serene and you can enjoy enjoy relaxing. Bars, restaurants and the parties are just a short walk or ride away. Its good to rest and relax where its quiet.

Review 32：There were bed bugs my last night and when I told Marlin, the manager, he refused to accept this even though I stayed on property all day mostly in my room. He gave some bad answer and a voucher to the airport for free so I itched all the way home.

Refused to give a reduction on the cost of the room. Forgot to charge me for the taxes and then held up our boat going to the airport until someone arrived to make me pay.We all felt like we were being held for ransom and not to mention we could have missed our flight.

Review 55：breakfast spread wasnt elaborate, no phones in the room so i had to keep calling from my cellphone if i needed help, broadband router outside and connectivity was extremely weak in the entire room, too many touts on the beach, pricing of facilities such as water sports etc were ridiculously high if arranged by the hotel. Must be negotiated down - your customers will trust the hotel more than going to touts directly.

Review 65：I am very sorry to write this review, but I have to. It was our 3rd time in the Ambassador in paradise and unfortinatelly, I guess, the last time.On arrival we were told that the room is ready and we can check in. But it was 11a.m. and we need to pay 300php for every hour before 2p.m. I talked to the manager that we are hotel's permanent customers, and if we could ask for any priveleges. After that we were alowed to check in at 12p.m.In the room (B7) the air condotoiner did not work. We had to return to the lobby to tell about the problem. After this, they sterted to call somebody, different people were coming to the room and checking/doublechecking the aircon. We were always told to wait again and again. At 2.30p.m. the problem still was not fixed. We just went outside to have lunch. On our return to the hotel (16.30 p.m.) we were told that the problem is fixed. In the room the temperature on the aircon was 16C. But temperature in the room was about 16-27C. We went to the lobby again and all these procedures of checking the aircon repeated again.We just asked to move us to another room. But they did not wanted to do it because there were no free rooms of the same category (only the higher ones). We were again told to wait.Only when we became really mad, and asked to talk to the top manager, after waiting for 30 min inside very hot room, a worker came and said: well, if you really want to, you can move to another room. The manager did not even come, and nobody excused to us.Finally, all the procedure took us the whole day. It is very sad, cause I think that the 5 star hotel must fix such a problem immediatelly.On the departure, the evening before check out, we recieved the bill for the restaurant use during our stay (1000php). On the check out the girl in the lobby said that we have to pay also for the minibar (cola, royal and vital water-325 php). But we did not take anything from the minibar! The vital water is not even presented in the minibar!

We noticed a lot of ants in our first room but they were friendly :) expect to go up 3 floor stairs every time you enter or leave your room as there is only one elevator for only some rooms on one side of the property. We paid extra for an ocean view room but we found out that almost all rooms are ocean view and the difference is the distance from the view. They located us in two different rooms and they smartly convinced us they were both ocean view. Dont waste more money on ocean view unless you are ready to fight for a room thats on the 1st row once you check in. They charge your credit for full amount before you get the key .You will be asked to sign on a form that you cannot shorten your stay 2 bring food or drinks from outsife 3 stain the bed That made me feel there was something fishy! Iwill still stay here if i chose to live in any place other than puka beach. I hate to live in the noisy dmall area. Food in the restaurant is good but a bit pricy cimpared with others near or in Dmall. Hot water takes time in the bathrooms and there are no hangers or shrlves to place your stuff.

Review 80：The best choice if you want to be on the white beach. Family-oriented hotel and for me and my friend that was fine although I didnt like how some guests communicate and shout to each other from the balconies! Ni hao everyone! Go and enjoy the place ! I will recommend it to anyone especially families from my country( Saudi Arabia) Make sure you ask for the executive manager Max if you run into troubles. The restaurant manager Tobias was very friendly and the place cannot be as good if those two men were not there. They will always compensate for any thing goes wrong and thats why we decided to extend our stay.

Review 81：The ceiling of our bathroom was peeling off. The wifi signal was horrendous (no wifi in the rooms). The front desk area was very hot. We experienced fluctuations in the electricity. Our airconditioning unit was not working properly. The rooms need better air circulation because they tend to smell a bit musty. Needs a luggage rack for people who don't want to fully unpack.

Review 91：Our family have just returned from a 6 night stay at Ambassador which we thoroughly enjoyed. Thanks to all staff who made our stay so pleasant & we will forever have memories of your warm smiles & welcoming hospitality. The location is perfect in station 1, as it is right on a fairly private part of White Beach but only a short 15min walk to De Mall for shops, spas and restaurants. The complimentary shuttle which took us anywhere around the island was such a bonus. There were no in room phones but blackberrys were provided for easy communication between our 2 rooms and with the hotel when we were out and about. We had book a family room with ocean views but were quickly upgraded to 2x rooms that directly faced White Beach and I already miss waking up to the blue water and white sand. Rooms were well serviced and housekeeping cleaned them twice daily immaculately supplying fresh towels & replenishing supplies . Breakfast selection was abundant and food fresh and well presented. Activities were easily arranged with the staff coordinator. A huge THANKYOU to all staff for a wonderful family holiday that we'll be telling our family & friends to visit!

Review 92：The gym was poorly equipped and a lot of equipment didn't work properly (although I informed the staff, nothing was done). The restaurant was limited and expensive.

Review 99：we paid more than 300EUR per night for a family room, breakfast was very poor. In addition we asked, reserved and paid as extra the round trip airport pick up. On the way to the hotel was perfect, private van, private boat etc. On the way back to the airport (our plane was at 10:30 as communicated during the booking of the service) they arranged the pick up at 5PM (5 and a half hours before our plane)... when we asked to move it later they wanted more money, we explained that the fee was already agreed before.. long story short we paid more than 400pesos each to have the transfer on the private boat and once at the port they bought ticket for 35pesos each and put us on a local crowded ferry... they said ops our boat is broken... I suggest you to book somewhere else

Review 101：The room which we will allocated (B7, 3rd floor above the restaurant) was clean and conveniently located near the beach, but the room facilities need major improvement: a) the bathroom drainage is bad, ponding after bathing which need quite sometime to clear. b) no mirror in the room except the one in the toilet c) no hanger in toilet (for clothes, towel & etc) d) no soap dish in toilet e) no tray near shower area for toiletries. f) steps of staircase between 2nd and 3rd floor are higher than normal, hence make climbing and going down the steps difficult, and in my opinion hazardous especially during an emergency evacuation. g) we felt that the air-con system could be improve for the room (it's not powerful enough for the room). The gym room facilities also need major improvement, a) the floor have broken tiles, b) rubber tiles will old and not flat, c) air-con and ventilation need major improvement. The resort WIFI speed is slow for comfortable usage. Regards.

Our first room we checked into had no wifi and the aircon was faulty, when we mentioned it to the reception at almost midnight they kindly transfered us to a room with wifi and a working aircon. The staff were really great and the mongo dacquiris were awesome

Review 105：Not quite happy with the room. I thought I booked a beach front or at least close to it. I got one at the back with construction going. Maybe a misreprentation on the website, I don't know. My pregnant wife had to walk from the back of the resort to the beach everytime she wants to swim. This is the reason why I did not rate it well in terms of comfort. A phone inside the room would also help. I'm going back to this hotel soon, but hopefully I get a better room.

Review 123：The bedroom was a bit small and noisy, just above the restaurant and swimmingpool of the hotel. The bathroom did not have the standard of a 5 star hotel it was just a hole in the ground and a showerhead not even a real shower! The wifi signal is poor evrywhere. The breakfast is not good Definitely not a 5 stars hotel. The room is too expensive compared to the quality of the accomodation and service provided.

Review 137：The location of the hotel is perfect - quiet part of White Beach/Station 1 and sufficient amount of sunbeds at the beach. Restaurant very good although breakfast a bit basic. Staff at the restaurant very attentive and SUPER cool/friendly to small kids! The swimming pool not very big...but who cares when the beach is as nice as it is!

Review 138：The breakfast is far away from the standard of 5* hotels in SE Asia as there is not so much choice. There is no lush vegetation as in other hotels im SE Asia the entrance of the hotel is on the main road. The road is quite ugly and it is always busy with motorcycles. The pool is quite small. The hotel is close to other buildings under construction. Overall don't expect a 5* luxury, as almost all hotels on the White beach are crammed and lack big swimming pools and tropical gardens.

Review 139：I liked the closeness of the beach which has less boats than Station 1. The room was clean and the staff was friendly.
