Review 1：The hotel itself its a bit old, early 80s decorations. The indoor pool is... better say its not existed! Breakfast was ok. The maid were keep entering in our room for cleaning in our check out day...

Review 7：Given that this hotel was rated 4 stars, it did not live up to its standards. The fitness room and pool was dirty and the equipment was a decade old! The beds were hard as rock and the small fridge didn't work. I think booking.com should down grade the rating to a 2 or 3 stars.

Review 9：The WiFi only worked in part of our suite, my wife and I had a bed that was comprised of 2 single beds pushed together, not very comfortable. The carpets in the rooms were not clean doesn't seem like they use a "carpet bruah" for the floors

Review 17：It's a personal preference, but the bacon served with the breakfast was not cooked enough. The room and the hotel in general, is starting to show its age, but it is kept clean. It is time to renovate this location. Its sister hotel immediately next door is much newer and more upscale.
Review 18：The location was perfect. It is at the end of the "Avenida" which is the waterfront street in Ponta Delgada. Easy access to all the shopping in downtown and also easy access to the new highways for quick access to the rest of the island it is right across the street from the harbour swimming area where there were people swimming every day, even though it was October. The daily included breakfast was very good and they even included free bottled water in the room. The free on site parking was a definite bonus, even though the spaces were tight. I will stay here the next time I come to Ponta Delgada.
Review 19：Pretty much everything else. The floors and rooms have a strange smell which comes from old damp carpets. Rooms are cleaned quite late in the day in case one is back from a morning excursion. Bathroom is old and in bad need of a complete makeover. No room service between 11:30pm and 7:30am which is ridiculous for a hotel.

Review 50：Breakfast is rather poor and not good. The facilities seem to be old and soviet style. The staff sometimes ignore you at all. This is not a 4 star hotel. And it is really expensive comparing to other hotels in the Ponta Delgada which are of better quality for sure.
