Review 1：Poorly greeted, actually unwelcoming as person seemed loath to speak. Wondered if English second language? That's fine, but you could smile at least? We were in room "0", right at the front, on the street. Pillows were horrible and only one set, the ones with the covers on that matched the bedspread. The bed was horrible, needs throwing out. The bathroom had mold on upper wall/ceiling over shower and on wooden window casings in bathroom. Sign in kitchen asked guests wash own dishes, and amount of dish liquid was 1-2 mills in a full sized dish liquid bottle which wasn't helpful. Only reason slept first night was because so tired, and traffic not too noisy after 9.30 pm and before 6.30 am. Wouldn't recommend to my friends or acquaintances. I've never had an experience like it before. Glad to leave. Disappointing.
Review 2：Location was handy to the places and people we wanted to see. Good pressure water in bathroom and shower was clean.

Review 22：dated and basic but good value for money, free wifi is a bonus! Most of the motels in this area don't have free wifi and are more expensive. I stayed twice and the second time I was upgraded and the room, bed, bathroom and kitchen were more modern and comfortable

Review 25：Being disabled and an above knee amputee the steps to the ground floor rooms need a hand rail for safety. Also in the bathroom, the shower in Unit 2 is over a bath tub. These things I find are a challange for me.
Review 26：The management are considerate and friendly. The room even though it is dated, is nice, comfortable and clean. It's location is great and only minutes away from the City Centre of Lower Hutt.
Review 27：Room was disgusting found that the floor was NOT clean at all handles to the windows were broken Found condoms under the bed. I have taken photos of the issues. I written a email to the abbeycourt Motel In response Frank responded that he was delighted for my inspection. But did not admit the disgusting nature of the room that they provided for me. Very Disgusting. Place to stay. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone at all.
