Reviews for Hotel Riviera Blu
Review 1:The orange juice did tasted like Tang vs true orange juice.
Review 2:We appreciate Massimo. He was very informative and made us feel welcome. Breakfast was good and plentiful. The location is very convenient.
Review 3:Nothing
Review 4:Location - near Pisa, a short walk to the sea Quiet hotel, good size well kept rooms with balcony. Pleasant little garden area. Helpful staff good advice for local restaurant, discount given there
Review 5:Nothing at all
Review 6:Hotel staff helped make our stay great, service was more than expected and everyone was very helpful. The room was clean, comfortable and had a lovely balcony overlooking the beautiful garden. The staff put a lot of attention into details, both in decorating, furnishing and in service, which made our stay perfect. Last but not least, the breakfast was formidable, with fresh croissants, fruits and pie's.
Review 7:It was so nice to get away from the tourist areas and enjoy a family run hotel in a good location. The staff were lovely and gave us good suggestions for eating out.
Review 8:Wifi was good but you have to sign in each time kinda of annoying.
Review 9:Convientley located near the beach. It's just right across the street, plus lots of restaurants near by. Staff was friendly, breakfast was great to be included.
Review 10:Out of season many places were shut and it was a 20/25 minute walk to the nearest towns for bars/restaurants in the evening, but the walking was good and we found nice places to eat and drink in both Tirrenia and Marina di Pisa.
Review 11:Lovely, friendly, family run hotel who made our stay relaxed, care-free and enjoyable. Good breakfasts and great bikes! Nice quiet location (we went out of season) with good bus services to local towns and into Pisa. Great for walking and cycling, with lovely clean beaches and good swimming.
Review 12:Christiano sent me a personal email to let me know he had reserved a quiet room as I had asked for, and was very helpful and courteous. The room was super-clean, quiet, and had an excellent bed. I liked the proximity of Pisa (20 minutes away) without its touristic bustle and loved to walk on the beautiful sandy beach just across the street in the early morning. The breakfast was unusually good and plentiful, with yoghurt, cereal, cold cuts, cheese as well viennoiseries. I will certainly recommend this hotel to friends.
Review 13:I only found out about the discount to Paradiso by accident and perhaps this may have been pointed out on arrival (this did not stop me from having a great relaxing time)
Review 14:I booked this hotel after reading previous reviews. The hotel was kept very clean, all the staff were friendly and very helpful. It was easy to find from the airport (good cheap bus service) and situated approx 1km from the centre of Tirrenia. It was a 5 min walk from the beach which stretched for a few 4-5kms. The beach area (Paradiso) opposite offers discount to both food and sun beds to hotel users (the staff there were also very helpful and friendly) The breakfast at the hotel was very good and offered a large varied choice. I would recommend a visit.
Review 15:Wasn't sure about the towels which were not towelling however did get used to them
Review 16:The breakfast was excellent with lots of choice and great coffee. The hotel is a wee bit of a walk from the main town however that suited us as we could walk off our dinner on way back at night time. Much nicer to stay in a small hotel where the staff get to know you as opposed to large impersonal ones where you are just one of the flock!
Review 17:Wi- fi was a hassle. Bathroom was a little small, not enough shelf space for 3 people.
Review 18:Breakfast was the best of all our hotels, fresh tropical fruit daily. Service was good and staff friendly. Rooms were clean and beds comfy. Shower was a good size. Lovely gardens. Close to the beach.
Review 19:Lovely and clean, staff really helpful and pleasant.
Review 20:Small rooms. No place to leave suitcase open.
Review 21:Nice location but raining so didn't go out.
Review 22:Personal attention and recommendations given, Terrace and ambiance for last drinks, peacefulness outside of city,
Review 23:not that close to beach
Review 24:Excellent breakfast, clean room, nice balcony, helpful staff
Review 25:Breakfast a little inadequate. No ripe fresh fruit or good orange juice.
Review 26:Great hotel, hits the spot on all counts, staff excellent
Review 27:The WiFi login procedure was really terrible.
Review 28:Great place, great breakfasts and friendly staff. Close to the beach.
Review 29:Very friendly and helpful staff, absolutely spotless and great location for the beach.
Review 30:Excellent hotel offering an amazing service. All of the staff were so accommodating and made you feel very welcome.
Review 31:The bathroom was very small, otherwise all other facilities were very good.
Review 32:The area is beautifull, very close to the beach, staff very friendly.
Review 33:Breakfast amazing
Review 34:Friendly owners, the yard, the breakfast room and breakfast.
Review 35:Staff helpful, easy to find, nice garden and patio area, good breakfast
Review 36:nothing

Review 39:As above and breakfast was outstanding.
Review 40:Limited parking, but the staff will park and move your vehicle, when it's neccessary. No elevator.
Review 41:The staff was pleasant and very helpful.
Review 42:Excellent location for exploring the region. Very helpful staff. Great breakfast.
Review 43:Having to leave!
Review 44:The quaility of the service and actual hotel. The personal help offered by the staff. Breakfast was also good.
Review 45:Pristine rooms with excellent staff. Breakfast was wonderful
Review 46:Staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel was very clean. Lovely stay.
Review 47:Near the beach Nice garden like yard Very friendly staff
Review 48:Excellent staff, very clean in all areas, very accessible to Med across road. Facility to book a triple room making it very economical. Air con quiet ensuring good sleep.
Review 49:Beaches are payable and I missed a more proactive reception to give information about transport, maps and where to go.
Review 50:Location is perfect if you want to relax on the beach or enjoy the garden, ride a bicycle. They offer a discount on meals and chairs on the beach.
Review 51:Owner helped us with a rental car problem with Hertz. Owner drove our friends to a seaside restaurant. The hotel was exceptionally clean, the staff very polite and friendly, and the breakfast was especially fresh and tasty. We will stay there again.
Review 52:Wi-Fi connection was poor and you had to register for follow up e-mails with company. Limited choice of restaurants nearby (a bit early in the season perhaps)
Review 53:Friendly and helpful staff. Great rooms. Safe parking off road Good bus service to Pisa (nearby stop) Short walk to the beach
Review 54:The Staff Are Very Friendly and Helpful. Near to the Beach Area. The room was very comfortable with nice view from the balcony. I strongly recommend.
Review 55:The room was cold, and the heat wasn't on for the season. The blower did not push out hot air.
Review 56:comfortable, clean, quiet, exactly what we needed for a place to crash after coming in to town for dinner with friends in Tirrenia.
Review 57:The room 106 (single room) is a bit noisy, as it is next to the stairs. I imagine than during the height of the season it must be really annoying.
Review 58:The breakfast was amazing! Fresh and varied, very nice indeed. The staff was polite and friendly. And I really appreciated the fact that you could rent bikes for free, this is a really good idea.
Review 59:Hotel location is really for people who are touring and stay for a night or two. Nothing to do except for bus ride to Pisa.
Review 60:Lovely family owned hotel. Very friendly and helpful
Review 61:Would be nice to have an elevator.
Review 62:The gentleman at the front desk was really nice and answered all of our questions. The breakfast was delicious.Would recommend this hotel to anybody travelling in the region.
Review 63:location of the hotel is a plus and a minus - it's close to the beach and a bus station, but it's in the main road so it's quite noisy. The staff is friendly, breakfast fantastic!
Review 64:The hotel is located by the main road in Tirrenia, and as we had one of the rooms facing that way, there could be some traffic noise. But this would only be a problem if you are very sensitive to this kind of noise, in which case I am sure you could ask for a room facing into the residential area.
Review 65:We wanted to spend some days on the beaches of the Tuscan coast, and this hotel turned out to be a fabulous choice. The location is great, just cross the street and you can choose between several beach resorts (the one we used for the most part was called La Pace, and had very friendly staff and great facilities). One of the hotel staff picked us up at the train station in Pisa, which was practical. However, getting to the hotel from Pisa or Livorno is very easy as well, there were buses going every 15 minutes taking you there within half an hour. The best part of the stay, however, was the very nice and helpful staff (you could tell it was a family place) and the brilliant breakfast, which included fresh cakes and proper Cappuccino served at your table.
Review 66:The bathroom was very small and it would have been nice to have airconditioning, although we all survived. Would have been for our familyto have 2 double or queen beds rather than a king and single.
Review 67:We spent 3 nights at the Hotel Riviera Blu with our 7 and 11 year oldchildren. It was located just across the street from the beach, althoughthere is no view. They have an agreement with one of the"resorts" on the beach in which the hotel guests can rent anumbrella and 2 lounge chairs on the beach for the day, cost 11 euros(not bad price.). It is located a bit farther from Pisa, we took thecity bus to/from Pisa, cost under 10 euros each way for the 4 of usto ride into Pisa and around 30-40 minutes. The staff was wonderful, usually the same helpful gentleman each time and the breakfast waslovely, something for everyone.
Review 68:Friendly staff which were helpful and great location. Near Tirrenia which is nearby and a nice town. Great base to explore Pisa from as it's very close to the bus line. Wi-Fi is great. Car park can get a little tight, but there is alot of free parking outside the hotel. all safe. Would stay again.
Review 69:Very family oriented. We stayed there with my elderly parents and were well cared for. We drove a rental car and had free parking space. Tirrenia is a small town and the hotel had that small town friendliness.
Review 70:The hotel was close to Pisa, the rooms were clean and the hotel was verydog friendly. We were there in the low season and it was nice to havefree parking in the area. It was also free at the hotel. Would stayagain if in the area.
Review 71:Very friendly and helpful staff. Very clean. Accross from the Terrenia seaside. Near Pisa and Florence. Beautiful landscape. Great service. We will return to this lovely and affordable hotel.
Review 72:stayed for 2 nights recently after a few days in Florence. lovely hotel. short walk to beach and restaurants/bars. good breakfast. room comfortable, good shower facilities. staff were very friendly and helpful, even brought us to airport at 7.30am, which is 30 mins earlier than they usually operate shuttle service.
Review 73:Very friendly family run hotel...felt like home..good hospitality...Lounge room with large screen tv and outdoor seating area in shade..Green grass ...lawn ! (ability to spend tijme out of room and minglewith other guests)
Review 74:Would have preffered to be slightly nearer town , the beach recommendedby hotel nice but expensive
Review 75:A lovely family clean small hotel near sea , 15 min stroll into town ifnot buss stops outside . The owner friendly , helpfull and wellcoming, very hard to fault
Review 76:The location of the hotel is not great. The street in front of the hotel is pretty dead and a little creepy to walk down at night. The beaches near the hotel are the typical Italian commercial umbrella beaches, not our cup of tea. We had a rental car and were able to travel outside of Tirennia, Florence, Pisa and Cinque Terre are only 1 hour away which was great.
Review 77:Great staff. We are an English and German speaking couple and did not speak a word of Italian. The staff did not speak very good English, but we both tried to speak each other's language and we had a great experience. The effort was much appreciated. Breakfast was pretty good, basic bread, meat and cheese selections, juice selection, plus delicious cappuccino and heated up croissant. Very clean, small but comfortable rooms and a nice balcony to enjoy the sunshine.
Review 78:Hotel is very attractive. Close to sandy beach it takes you about 5 minwalk. Next to Marina di Pisa village. Food in restaurant in center cityis very delicious.
Review 79:Very nice staff, wi-fi, 100 m to the sea-side, clean room with abathroom, breakfast possible, a place to seat with the guests, really abig reccomendation. We made a reservation an hour before arrival withbooking.com and the staff was ready & waiting & nice & english speaking.50 euro per 1 night for 2 people + 1,5 euro x 2 (city tax)
Review 80:Very friendly and professional hotel! A good pick when you want to spend time at the beach, in the city of Pisa or just to stay over for a night to be close to the airport of Pisa.
Review 81:Simple, but very clean hotel with good and calm location - not far fromthe sea + away from tourist crowds of Pisa! Quick wifi connection; veryfriendly and helpful hotel owners! Parking available either in front ofthe hotel or on the street.
Review 82:Very nice clean hotel with off street parking. The staff are very helpful. Bus stop just outside the hotel for the bus into Pisa.
Review 83:The Hotel is very clean. Friendly staff.
Review 84:Use of bikes. Staff and breakfast excellent.

Review 91:Might be a little far to walk into the centre, for some.
Review 92:Very good breakfast. Staff good and informative. Balcony room. Nearness to Pisa Airport.
Review 93:Friendly helpful staff. Clean comfortable room. Excellent breakfast Location fine if youwnat beach - ok for travelling into Pisa too - 15 minutes
Review 94:For this price the rooms are small. We had a room on the street side andthere was the noisy of the cars even at night.
