Review 1：Inadequate car parking - more cars than spaces; only 1 disabled space. Tricky staircase to upper floor - no lift. Receptionist on second and third day rather off-handed.

Review 2：Convenient location for visit to central Wellington (by car). Was expecting a motel, but found far more like an hotel. Receptionist on arrival very friendly and helpful.

Review 6：A great motel right in the heart of up town Wellington, nice and warm as Wellington is know as the windy city. I must thank Angel the restaurant manager she is a babe very much a hands on happy to help kind of person, and John the breakfast chef who would just for me fry my eggs in the morning until they were black and blue, just how I like them, thank you.

Review 7：As we had a rental car we booked this hotel as they said they had parking for guests. What we found was this hotel held a number of functions during the day and as a result parking was not always available to guests using their accommodation. The attitude of the staff was not that helpful when approached

Review 13：Spa and Sauna were not operational. Garden area and pool could not be used as there was a Wedding function on. Old decor, bit of noise at night. Did not think it was value for money. Would have booked somewhere else if Id known that most of the facilities were out of use.

Review 31：I have done great deal of travelling for both work and leisure over many years but The Angus has the most comfortable beds and particularly pillows I have ever experienced. Wonderful!

Review 32：Bathroom fittings were brass very outdated and very badly marked rusty. Shower over bath a big no when bigger person and curtain sticks to you I am also tall so very hard to shower,no fan in bathroom. Felt bathroom badly needs an update.

Review 34：Quite a distance between car & room (not great for the wedding cake I was carrying) , wasn't sure if it was safe to leave the balcony door open at night, also went out during the day and came back about 1pm to have a shower and the towels had all disappeared with room service (not that this is bad but I didn't realise the "please make up my room" sign meant the towels were still being replaced)

Review 42：Very close to the karate tournament venue we needed to be at on the saturday. Excellent location if you wanted to shop at the mall across the road. Room was enough for thr one night stay. Nice and quiet.

Review 44：Considering there are so few options in Lower Hutt, this place is pretty good. The room was nice, comfortable, and clean.

Review 45：The bathroom. It was the shower over a bath with a curtain around.. No hand rails and the bath became very slippery. Husband slipped getting out of it, so had to lay the bath mat in the bottom of it to avoid an accident. Not good for an elderly person. Also, the extractor fan didn't clear the steam quickly enough, so all surfaces were wet with condensation.

Review 49：The electric jug had mould in it. The shower would create a mist that males everything left in the bathroom covered in a layeR of water, even if the pressure is near its lowest.

Review 50：The location and room size are good. Customer service is being greeted by pickles the 20 yo cockatoo every time you walk through the foyer.

This was due to absolutely no monitoring of the carpark and random people who were not staying at the motel (i.e. working across the street as observed) were using the parks. Had to pay for on street parking half the time which was unacceptable. Also had ants in the room. WIFI charges also very poor in this day and age.

Review 56：My husband was unwell for several days and was confined to bed. We placed the do not disturb sign on the door but staff still knocked on the door on two occasions wanting to clean the room. When towels have been used once they are wet, not dirty. Staff could respect our decision to 'be green' and not change the towels daily.

Review 57：The location of the hotel was very convenient, being close to a sporting event we were attending for the week and across the road from Westfield. The restaurant staff were always pleasant and friendly. A toaster would be a helpful addition to the room's kitchen facilities.

Review 58：I arrived midnight due to a delayed flight but they provided an awesome customer service to a tired traveler. I have asked several requests like a taxi call and a later check-out and they acted promptly on these requests.

Review 61：The only point we need to make was the very long time we had to wait in the restaurant on the Monday evening and the lack of attention by the two staff members, food was very good as was the comfort and surroundings.

On arrival was told no access from room to outside car park so I had to carry my bag my invalid friends bag and my daughters all the way through the lobby down to our room only to find French doors opening directly to my car. Rang reception to book smorgasbord for dinner and was told it was booked out quite abruptly. Rang reception to book spa for 7 and when I got to reception was told in an unfriendly manner have the key back in half an hour. Went to spa and stayed about 15 minutes as no clock in there and I did not have a watch on me as I knew it would be wet and steaming . Sky channels non existent. All in all they seemed very busy or understaffed and made you feel like you were inconveniencing them. One of the dearer hotels I've stayed in but not one of the most friendly or comfortable ones.
