Review 1：I can't say there was anything I didn't like unless it was the fact I didn't get a complimentary paper. But that would only have put the price up I guess.

Review 2：Surprisingly quiet considering there were busy roads nearby. But somehow the noise didn't reach the motel. When I ACCIDENTLY BROKE A GLASS LAST MINUTE BEFORE LEAVING, i WAS NEITHER CHARGED OR EXPECTED TO CLEAN IT UP. nOW THAT IS GENEROUS SERVICE. Oopps! Sorry for shouting.

Review 3：The place was clean and neat, well laid out for parking (I noticed that there were two vehicles with trailers on site at the time as well) and the staff were excellent.

Review 4：Excellent accommodation/facilities. A well presented and located facility with helpful and friendly staff. We also found the parking outside our unit was ample with good turning facilities and easy access.

Review 5：but a few items of maintenance needed doing in the unit - window latch on bathroom window fallen off; soap bottle container in shower had fallen off the wall and lying on floor when we arrived; shower water temperature dial not working properly.

Review 11：Within walking distance to the Western Hutt train station, just a 20 min or less journey into Wellington. Perfect stopover from the interisland ferry. Well appointed room.

Review 12：I liked that the kitchenette was separate to the room, the rooms were well laid out and provided us with an easy place to stay that was close to the ferry terminal for our 9am ferry the next morning. We appreciated the free wifi and the staff were friendly.

Review 13：Perfect staff. Some motel owners/staff try to be too friendly and it can be frustrating when you simply want to get the key and settle in after a long drive. That's not the case at Camellia. We were greeted with the right amount of pleasantries and got into our room quickly. Perfect.

Review 14：We have found human hairs on bed sheet as we entered the room. Please clean bed sheets thoroughly! We felt quite uncomfortable throughout the whole night of staying. Sadly, I don't think I would recommend this place to any of my friends.

Review 15：The only thing that let the unit down was the main bed in the master was quite uncomfortable. Curtains were well worn and light coming through in a couple of places.

Review 16：The fact there was a bath and a shower, 3 beds to accommodate our 3 kids. Place was very clean and the staff were fantastic, very helpful.

Review 17：There was a nice area for kids to play. The playground equipment was a bit dated and safer for older kids than preschoolers but they had a lot of fun there.

Review 18：A few small things, the electric jug is not always working straight away, I think it needs replacing. The cups though clean were slighttly stained, easily fixed.The frying pan was not nonstick and definitely did stick, replacement would be good. No sharp knife for fruit etc but this may be a safety issue.

Review 19：We only saw reception staff but he was very nice and helpfull. The apartment was airy and sunny, clean, comfortable and spacious. The beds were lovely, clean and very comfortable and plenty of bedding. Bathroom and kitchen also clean.TV was top and worked great as did Wifi. Though it seemed full the motel was lovely and quiet.

Review 20：Floor in kitchenette area was slightly sticky underfoot. Toilet could have been cleaner. No can opener provided. Teacups were stained.

Review 23：Easy drive to ferry, except for the morning traffic to Wellington cbd. Good sized queen bed apartment with sufficient motel style facilities.

Review 24：Wellington was very cold, wet and windy but the warmth of the room even without the heater on was excellent, made for a very comfortable stay. We also had to unexpectedly extend our stay by one more night and were very thankful of the owners to allow this to happen at such short notice.

Apartment furnishing a bit basic but comfortable (very clean), perfect for what we wanted as we where only there 2 nights, perfect location for catching the early ferry.

Review 28：Very outdated motel unit. Bathroom and kitchen old and dirty. Kitchen floor sticky. Ran out of toilet paper (not surprising half roll on holder and half roll spare, not enough for 2 adults and 2 teenage girls).

Review 30：Site is very tired. Party in next room on a Wednesday night! 1030p to 1230am. I was on my own so called the manager at 1100 and the phone rang out, then tried outside line and phone bell next to my room rang and rang. I waited and tried again 3 times, the phone then went to answer phone. I waited until 1230 then went out of my room and asked the peoples to please be quite. And they did!

Review 31：It would of been nice when the unit was serviced that it would of been vacuumed once or twice during the five days that we stayed.

Review 33：Location was very convenient for me - about 2 minutes from where I had to visit. I was impressed with cleanliness and it was very cosy and warm for me. I liked that I had Sky TV as well as the free WiFi. I also liked that there was a specific dark blue face cloth to help remove makeup so that I didn't stain the white towels

Review 54：We had a wonderful time here! Thanks to the extremely responsive and nice staff trying to help our stay every way. Shared laundry required coins and he helped to provide changes. Wifi was plenty and it broken down once and he restarted the router immediately to fix it. We thought oven was broken and he came and explained the timer setting... Thanks again!

Review 55：Close to on-ramp of SH2 at Lower Hutt and to Lower Hutt itself. Mature trees help screen view and noise of the adjacent motorway and the traffic bridge over it. You'd expect it to be so much noisier than it is.

Review 58：Despite the rooms being "soundproofed" we spent all evening, well into the night enduring the laughter and loud conversation from the room next door to us. The internet is a joke, very slow and drops easily and the system they use is a real pain - despite being "unlimited" if you use the amount you are given you have to get another code to continue using it and all devices need different codes.

Review 68：Good quite location with well kept rooms with nice garden & childrens area, well maintained for the age of buildings. Nice to see the soap & shampoo dispensers - much more eco friendly than the one use options. Driveway entrance could be a little tricky if you are travelling with a trailer, but street quite enough to park on road if need be.

Review 72：Nice handy location in a pleasant suburb. We chose Camellia because it was handy to the motorway for an early getaway to the Ferry terminal. And so it was, just 15 minutes on a Saturday morning. Price was right, and the facilities ticked all the boxes.

Review 73：It was a quiet location, 5 minutes away from train station to Wellington. The manager was extremely helpful and on arriving very early booked us into a room that had already been serviced. Nothing was too much trouble for him. The room was thoroughly cleaned daily and was very comfortable. An excellent place to stay.

Review 74：Staff are there to help you which is important. Had a good yarn to them. I had previously stayed at a cheaper place down the road, but I think this was worth the extra $20 (including the spa bath). Overall and in every way a nice stay.

Review 75：kitchen dish drip tray had signs of mould on it so did not want to drip dry our bowls and cutlery on it. No local information folder but owner/manager says he is working on it. No extractor ventilation in bathroom and free WiFi allowance may be OK for one night but longer and with Kids its a problem.
