Located inside the Momijidani Park in Miyajima, Momijiso features Japanese-style rooms with a beautiful park view. A free shuttle is available from Miyajima Pier which is a 10-minute drive away. Free Wi-Fi and a public bath is available for guests to enjoy their stay.

Review 1：The bathroom/shower was not heated and we were there when it was ridiculously cold, so that was not pleasant in the morning. We also discovered that we had slept on the futon in the wrong direction, which probably explains why it did not feel comfortable!
Review 2：The proprietor is awesome and the island is beautiful. There are deer everywhere that will walk right up to you. This makes for great pictures. We only stayed one night. I wish we had stayed for 2 or 3.
Review 3：Travelled beginning of March but the room was freezing cold, even with the heater cranked up. The bathroom and shower was not heated.

Review 6：I was travelling with my 17-year old daughter. Our stay at Momojiso was her favorite part of our trip. It was so beautiful and quiet, deer in the forest around the ryokan. I would absolutely come back and recommend this to anyone.

Review 8：Lovely place, staff were extremely friendly and helpful despite little English skills. The place was amazingly clean and the blankets were the softest I have ever felt! Would definitely recommend this place for Miyajima island. It's situated in a national park so would be hard to get to with luggage however the hotel provides a shuttle service if you call them when at the ferry pier.
Review 9：Our favourite place during our trip to Japan. The location is incredibly beautiful. Staff were wonderful and attentive while also giving us privacy. We were picked up from the ferry and greeted with afternoon tea in our room. The breakfast was fantastic.

Review 11：It was a wonderful magical experience, the hotel is beautiful and watching the baby deer come down the mountain at first light was amazing! I wish we had stayed longer and we will definitely go back.

Review 14：Wonderful location in the Park - sat looking out onto the river and trees. Lovely setting,yet, it is quick walk to the major sites. Owners very friendly and helpful; gave us umbrellas and torches. We did not eat there so do not know about the food. You can have a private deep bath down the corridor and room has good shower room. Nice toiletries. Very big room. In town, found a friendly and good place to try the oysters, but not much is open in evening. To see the sites, definitely go at end of day, say from 5pm. Walk from ropeway to top of mountain good as is the long route walking all the way back, allow 3hrs.
Review 15：The hosts were lovely and even picked us up from the Ferry Terminal upon arrival. The Ryokan is set amongst beautiful scenerary within the national park. Highly recommend to anyone wanting a lovely traditional experience.
Review 16：An absolutely divine ryokan located within Momijidani park, creating a wonderful ambience. The ryokan unlike their larger counterparts can only accomodate up to 18 or so guests at a time. The owners were very caring, thoughtful and kind. From the prompt pick-up at the Ferry terminal, an impromptu 'tour' on the way to Momiji-so, the owners did not miss a thing with detail, morning breakfast was great. Will come back here again!
Review 17：It was quite difficult for us to locate the ryokan. it is quite a walk from the ferry terminal. we couldn't get the free shuttle as we arrived way way early. but the location is gd in the sense that they are very close to the ropeway stn, thus, close to the mountain trails to summit of mt misen. therefore, I did mot have to walk far after the exexhaustive and hot trail.
Review 18：the room was extremely spacious (according to japan stds). the food was much much worth the amount of money I paid for. The service was excellent - they laid our futons while we were out :) thank god! we were tired out after our mountain trail walk.
Review 19：I stayed at Momijiso 4 years ago - and this is the first place I lookedfor when we planned another trip to Miyajima. I wasn't disappointed.It's out of the way - but don't let that worry you. It's ashort walk to all the attractions. The rooms are Japanese style withbeautiful calming views. Our hosts were very friendly and so welcoming.We had the use of the big hot bath after our adventuring. Breakfast wasthe best we had anywhere. Love the place and the people and would highlyrecommend Momijiso to all.
