Review 1：The gift/souvenir shop inside the hotel does not belong to the hotel, and the owner opens it as he pleases, and although having a schedule of opening hours at the door, these hours and schedule are not respected at all! You better get out the hotel and walk 100 meters to your right and go straight to an excellent gift shop outside the hotel (the one with a fake cow in the sidewalk).

Review 9：-The staff at the restaurant were very rude. They spent all their time writing reports on the buffet, and failed to even say good morning. At the end of our meal, we asked a server to take a photo of us. She was very reluctant and checked her watch as if she had no time to help. They even asked us to leave the restaurant, even though we were quietly talking and not requiring service. Very disappointing. -the rooms need do not disturb signs. A cheap and easy fix.

Review 13：Booked the romantic package which came with VIP treatment: not that we noticed. Welcome drinks: never arrived. Bottle of bubbly: not in room when we got there so had to drink it later after dinner, not ideal. I think they need to concentrate a little more if people book these extras to make sure they seem worthwhile.

Review 18：Loved the location, the Azores welcome, the room which was kept immaculate. Azores is not yet a mass holiday destination. This hotel has everything to make you comfortable but perhaps not what you would expect from what I think is the best hotel in town (toiletries not upscale for example, towels not the biggest and fluffiest but clean and plentiful) but I think this adds to the charm of the place

Review 23：I thought I had put in the notes that this was a honeymoon, and when we got there we had two twin beds. I asked to see if we could change to a queen, but they said there was nothing available, so we just pushed the beds together.

The hotel also offers a great base camp for travelling the island.

Con el hall lleno de huéspedes son capaces de hacer un checkout en un par de minuto. El desayuno empieza alas 7.30 pero a las 6 ya se puede desayunar. Ese detalle no es usual, y menso teniendo en cuenta que en la tarifa de la habitación está incluido el desayuno. El wifi en la habitación es excelente.

Review 41：We loved the location on the waterfront and near downtown with great views from our room of the harbor activities. The breakfasts were really good and came with the room price. Also the dinner at the hotel restaurant was excellent, including the fish soup and pineapple dessert. The cleanliness of the hotel and our room was very nice. tTe staff was very helpful and pleasant. The Manager was especially helpful to us on our arrival by car including parking and getting us a great room prior to normal check-in time after our overnight flight. Hotel is a great value.

Review 52：I liked everything. My mother and I came to Ponta Delgada to celebrate my birthday. We were welcomed with campaign and local sweets and were given a Ocean view room as I requested. Since arrival we were given all the comfort and information we needed. The stuff was so welcome and friendly.I love you guys! Thank you for the wonderful stay in your hotel! Also breakfast was very good and of good quality. For my birthday I was surprised with another attention, very unexpected as I considered the arrival campaign was for my birthday. They have everything in the hotel from crouches for my mum who had an accident and almost broke her leg. There is also a doctor in the hotel that you could consult for free.

Review 53：The carpet in the hallways were pretty filthy. We almost didn't stay there because if it. The junior suite is so small, we thought we could have our son (18 years old) stay in the room with us, but it was way too small. So we moved to a suite. The hotel does not have irons! I could not believe that. I figured they didn't put them in the rooms, but they don't have them at all! We traveled for 16 days, so our clothes needed to be ironed (we were able to wash them along the way), but they got very wrinkled while traveling.

Review 54：The location overlooking the ocean and right in the heart of the city. The hotel was very nice, and the suites are awesome. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was good, as were the workout facilities.

Review 55：On the downside and I mean way way down. The "hot" part of the breakfast was cold really cold, fried and scrambled eggs, sausages, bacon. Guaranteed cold every morning absolutely disgusting. No matter who I spoke to no Manager ever approached me. No one seemed to care. I even jumped from my chair as the eggs exited the kitchen....alas ice cold. The answer Mr. Elusive Manager. electric chafer dishes.

Review 56：The staff were really great, Carolina at the front desk thoughtfully remembered my birthday with a basket of fruit and a handmade card. Salvatore et al in the bar were just terrific. Its a large hotel with great facilities but you need to bring flip-flops and cap if you use the pool.
