Reviews for Hauraki Blue Cruises
Review 1:I enjoyed everything to be honest. Even the weather was awesome :)
Review 2:I really enjoyed my sleep the bed and room was oh so comfortable and it was nice and clean. I almost forgot I was on a boat, I enjoyed that there were not too many people on board, the cheese and cracker platter was a great idea especially throughout the whole trip. The food was ok, would have loved a chicken option for dinner though. The crew were amazing they made the trip super duper special. The rooms were warm it was an amazing first time experience for my whole family and I.
Review 3:Short excursion, doesn't really go far outside Auckland's inner harbour. Very limited on-board entertainment (bring your own)
Review 4:Excellent food and a nice break. Great for a one night trip if sick of staying in hotels.
Review 5:Indian fare at dinner could have been better
Review 6:Loved views from the room, helpful staff, staff took us kayaking which I enjoyed a lot, lovely sunrise, good value for money if you get a discount - we booked a deal at a discounted rate through booking.com, breakfast was very good, overall a pleasant experience
Review 7:Spending the night on the water after and interesting cruise amongst the islands of Auckland Harbour. Having champagne on the top deck at sunset, followed by a good standard meal prepared at sea.
Review 8:Breakfast OK but rather cold by 7.45am. Coffee also could have been hotter.
Review 9:Very comfortable beds. Lovely Staff. Lovely dinner. Very enjoyable cruise out and back. Extremely punctual on return.
Review 10:The boat was lovely, the staff were excellent, plenty of food and the bedroom was spacious. I couldn't fault this trip and would recommend to anyone
Review 11:Boat and facilities were very clean and spacious. We had no expectations so just had fun. Basically, took a short ride out to an island went ashore for a look and came back to the boat for the night. Not much activity but we were coming off a long, hiking trip so sitting around was nice. Staff was nice but not totally into the guests.
Review 12:From the moment we were greeted at the Viaduct, we were made to feel welcome. The crew were efficient and willing to help in any way they could. The accommodation was amazing and the meals were outstanding. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Review 13:Wasn't long enough! We didn't want to leave!
Review 14:Absolutely everything. Staff were amazing, boat was beautiful, food was delicious, room was clean and very well kept.
Review 15:hassle it was to swim off the back of the boat.. They want you to take a boat to an island and swim off the beach... Which really isnt the same. Also very dissapointed the ship doesnt cruise very far... You board at 3pm anchor at 4pm.. Dinner is at 7pm and you must all dine together on time! Then lights out 9 ish... Breakfast between7-8am.. Home at 9am... Such little time. For big money..
Review 16:the beautiful scenery... Sea....stunning!!!
Review 17:I didn't want to come home.
Review 18:The trip was really fun. I especially enjoyed getting to know the other travellers. I had hoped to go in the sea, but the wind was too cold. Sue from Auckland
Review 19:I would have like to have had breakfast from 8-9 and not 7-8. I also thought we were seeing a little more of the islands. That was a little disappointing.
Review 20:great trip other than....
Review 21:Food was very average. There was no ambience and most of the staff seemed disinterested.
Review 22:The cruise boat was fabulous. Rooms were comfortable and clean with a stunning sea view
Review 23:Too short - leaving at 3pm and arriving back at 9am makes for a very short cruise - would be way better if it left earlier in the day. Most of the staff were fantastic, although we were asked if we wanted any more drinks from the bar an hour before the bar was due to close as the staff member was tired and wanted to go to bed early!! For a cruise that is only one night, we found this extremely poor service.
Review 24:The food was amazing!! The kayaking/swimming was great fun.
Review 25:Friendly staff, excellent food
Review 26:Nothing...
Review 27:Service was excellent.. Boat was excellent.. Food excellent.. Accommodation was excellent.. Ummmm everything was just excellent..
