Review 11：Had a great stay at Champers. Room was immaculately clean and very spacious which gave us plenty of room for our wee girl to play and not feel cramped. Staff were amazing and couldn't be more accommodating, made us feel at home. Was very quiet, the bed was large and comfortable. My wife, daughter and I all slept through and woke to news that Wellington and the Hutt Valley had been hit by a weather bomb throughout the night. Easy to navigate carpark with plenty of parks which was handy as had a large toyota highlander rental car. Will stay again. Will recommend.

Review 12：Our one bedroom unit was quiet, clean and comfortable. The managers made us feel welcome. Don't be put off by the proximity to the motorway because we didn't even hear it.

Review 13：The suite I had was old and dated, and I felt somewhat uncomfortable. With a number of health and safety issues. A microwave in the kitchen but the electrical outlet was on the other side of the kitchen?? Wellington was full due to Cricket World Cup - so no other options.

Review 15：I arrived to find the restaurant no longer operates so had to go back into town to eat. The standard of room was shabby and way over-priced for an old-fashioned room. Full of instructions e.g. don't cook spiced food, shower curtain out, late charges etc., seeking every opportunity to charge extra. Very small amount of milk given over begrudgingly. Rather noisy. Dirty outside staircases. View on to the back of an industrial area - all for 'special price' of $190

Review 18：Friendly older couple, seemed genuine. Motel was located close to the amenities for the purpose of our trip (indoor sports centre, shops, motorway). Great room with large spa bath.

Review 22：The motel is only a short drive to Wellington by car and this proved to be an easy drive to the Inter Island Ferry to Picton. The room was clean and had all the amenities for an enjoyable overnight stay.

Review 23：Location wasnt great. There didnt seem to be charge back facilities the restaurant was closed when we were there and there were no close by food places except the Supermarket which was a bit of a let down. The unit we were in needs a little bit of updating but was comfortable.

From the warm, professional and efficient welcome to check out. I only had one night here but wished I could have stayed longer but had to move on. Review 114：Bed was very worn and every time my husband moved it felt like I was on a water bed ! Suggest owner and husband sleep in their guest beds now and again to check comfort. Also this motel was available on line for bookings at 11pm at night for that night if the owner doesn't want guests checking in that late you need to make sure this shows on line as it was quite embarrassing checking in late getting the owner out of bed.
