Opened in 2009, this modern and elegant boutique hotel combines personal service, stylish rooms, upscale dining and luxurious spa treatments with an excellent location only 150 feet from the sea and surrounded by pine forest.
The Amber Spa offers cozy and quiet rooms and suites with up to 3 bedrooms, ranging from 430 to 753 ft². The light and airy design, soft textures and hand-picked, customized natural fabrics with designer furniture radiate a comfortable atmosphere for short- as well as long-term stays. All rooms have an abundance of natural light..
All rooms and suites are equipped with many luxurious amenities, including flat screen LCD and plasma TVs, international newspapers and bathroom amenities by Kerstin Florian. There is a 24-hour concierge, personalized housekeeping service and 24-hour in-room dining.
Every hotel guest becomes a member of the Balans international spa center for the duration of their stay and can use the spa, pool, personal training studio and Russian baths, as well as enjoy events and classes held at the club.

Review 1：It should be two big towels and one face towel per person, instead of one and one, in any case it just a suggestion

Review 3：Wonderful customer service, extremely helpful personnel and and many special thanks to the manager, Mr. Peteris Grinbergs for taking care. I also liked SPA - LOTS of treatments, very nice atmosphere. Rooms - modern and cosy. Breakfast was very tasty, delicious local products. We will definetely come back!

It seems that I had paid almost twice the price in cash to the lady in the spa. Do not know what to think of this personnel and hotel.....

Review 16：Cappucino, espresso, Americano coffee and Orange Juice are considered extras in breakfast. In other hotels where we've stayed, these were included in the breakfast prices.

Review 17：The hotel is in a great location and very close to the beach. Most notable is the Hotel Manager, Peteris. He is such an asset to the hotel and I have never encountered someone who was so attentive to our request. We have stayed at numerous large hotel chains and I have to say that the service he has provided us was bar none. Would highly recommend this hotel over any others!

Review 18：Looks that hotel is oriented on russian tourists only. Every greeting was first in russian, and only then in international language. Is was really unpleasant. Reception staff was not very welcome and helpful. So, if you are from any other country than Russia, think twice before book this hotel.

We slept on the same sheets for 6 nights and when we asked the staff to change them they said sure but never did; we asked again and then they said they cannot as they don't have any sheets or access to sheets. This is really bad service for a hotel as expensive as this one is.

Review 44：The Amber Spa is intimate and has everything; including a fully equipped gym with fitness trainers, a dynamic spa with extensive medical and pamper treatments, a hairdresser, beauty salon, steam rooms, ten pin bowling and an excellent restaurant with an excellent menu. The rooms are spacious and boutique. The staff are over-the-top when it comes to service - absolutely brilliant! The receptionist, Marina, is second to none for people skills and service. Close to beach, quiet end of town. 3km to main shops and restaurants. We are from Australia and travel extensively. We can say without hesitation that Amber Spa Boutique Hotel is the best hotel we have ever stayed at.
